Chapter 2 [002] Being Hit on the Head by a Mud Bodhisattva (1)
*********
In order to thank the Bodhisattva for blessing her to recover from her illness, her grandmother wanted to take her to a Taoist temple on the mountain to worship the gods.
In the last life, she did not go.
Now, she wanted to be different from before, so she went the other way and went to the mountains with her grandmother.
The Taoist temple on the mountain is still the same as what Yang Zimei saw when he was three years old. It is a little old. The surrounding walls even have big scarlet characters that used to crack down on feudal superstitions and old slogans.
However, the environment here is really good!
There are towering ancient pines and cypresses planted all around, I don’t know how many years old, lush and lush, there are many birds on the trees chirping happily, the fresh air makes people feel that the pores are open, and the mood is unconsciously happy.
After entering the Taoist temple, grandma's expression immediately became solemn and pious.
Yang Zimei looked around curiously and found that although the Taoist temple was a bit shabby, the murals inside were beautifully painted with bright colors. If it wasn't damaged by those annoying slogans, it should be considered a cultural heritage art.
She remembered that this Taoist temple was also suddenly destroyed by fire when she was six years old. The fire that day lit up half of the sky, making the villagers panic and worried about whether it would bring disaster. The only old Taoist priest of this Taoist temple was also burned alive.
Thinking of this, her eyes fell on the old Taoist priest who was helping grandma put the offering on the offering table.
This old Taoist priest was wearing an old Taoist robe that had been patched for unknown number of patches. He was wearing a Taoist bun. His beard and hair were all white, and there was no mottled color. His face did not have many wrinkles like his grandmother, but a moist red light. , the pupils are not cloudy, and the eyes are bright, so she can't guess how old he will be, but she just thinks that he fits the image of an old Taoist priest with immortal style.
Would such a virtuous person be burned to death?
Thinking of this, her heart was filled with sadness again.
In the past, when I was a deceitful goddess stick, I always met some people who liked to ask how the future of destiny was.
Now, she found that if people really have foresight, but they are unable to change the direction of their fate, it is really a painful thing.
"Niuniu, hurry up and kowtow to the Bodhisattva, thank her for blessing you with no disaster." Grandma beckoned when she saw that she was in a daze again.
She walked over.
The old Taoist looked back at her, a slight surprise appeared on his soft and calm face, and he looked at her a few times more carefully.
Seeing him like this, Yang Zimei felt as though she was seeing through her soul, she lowered her eyes slightly, avoiding the eyes of the old Taoist.
*
Grandma asked her to kneel and kowtow in front of the Bodhisattva.
Yang Zimei knelt down on the futon. Although she swindled and cheated all her life and didn't believe in ghosts, at this time, her heart was pious.
She really wanted to pray to the Bodhisattva to bless her family in peace, that she would no longer be an orphan and have no one to rely on, and that her life could be rewritten, and that it would no longer be a tragic fate that anyone could hold.
As she prayed, she kowtowed three times heavily.
When she finished kowtowing three times and looked up at Mud Bodhisattva, the jade bottle in Mud Bodhisattva's hand suddenly fell and hit her on the forehead...
Ouch!
The huge pain made her dizzy, and she fell to the ground.

When I opened my eyes and woke up, I saw myself lying on an unfamiliar bed. The mattress was simple. There was this dilapidated portrait on the wall, and there was a large old bookshelf next to it. There were many old wire-bound books on the bookshelf.
[Notes for reading the book: The heroine here is just an ordinary person, and an ordinary person who was very miserable in the last life. She is not a special-trained, cold-blooded and alert agent killer. This heroine has various personality flaws of ordinary people. I'm used to it, please don't read it any further. 】

[Off-topic: Why is there Guanyin in Taoist temples]
Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, who saves suffering and rescues suffering, is merciful and compassionate, and is enshrined in many Taoist temples. Avalokitesvara changed its name to "Cihang Master" or "Cihang Zhenren" to receive the incense of Taoist believers. Taoism even compiled a set of sayings: Guanyin Bodhisattva was originally one of the twelve immortals of Tiandao, a disciple of the original Tianzun. Later, it was recognized by Western Buddhas that she and Manjushri Guangfa Tianzun and Puxian Venerable had Buddhist fate and brought the three of them to the Western world. It's a bit far-fetched, but it's a bit similar to the Taoist saying that Lao Tzu went to Tianzhu to continue preaching after leaving the customs on a green ox. The imagination of the Taoists may need to be strengthened. Guanyin Bodhisattva is the incarnation of Cihang, and Cihang is Guanyin. Taoism respects Cihang, and Buddhism respects Guanyin. Therefore, Guanyin is a Bodhisattva in Buddhism, but also a god in Taoism. Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is Buddhist. Taoism also has it, called Cihang Zhenren. The real person of Cihang (Guanyin) Guanyin is highly respected in the hearts of people all over the world. People who believe in or not believe in, regardless of sect, believe in Guanshiyin. Guanshiyin has surpassed religion. , enshrined in Guanyin, who saved the suffering and rescued the suffering, Taoism called the real person Cihang.
