Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 848: Disguise Magus

Everyone below was huddled on the landing, staring up at them, mainly at Harry.

Several craned their necks vigorously to get a better view of him.

"Oh, he looks just as I thought he would," said Tonks, holding his glowing wand aloft.

"Well, he looks exactly like James." Kingsley agreed.

"Except for those eyes!" said Hestia the wizard, wheezing, "yes, Lily's eyes.

Several people chattered, they all knew Harry's parents.

Many of them were former friends of James and Lily, and seeing Harry now, they naturally felt very cordial.

Harry was still a little confused, he couldn't believe it was real.

Four weeks without a word, not a single hint of his removal from Privet Drive.

But all of a sudden, a large group of wizards stood in the house solemnly, as if this was something that had been arranged long ago.

He looked at Ivan beside him, then turned his head to look at the people in the hall below, they were still staring at him eagerly.

Harry suddenly remembered that he hadn't combed his hair for four days, and couldn't help feeling embarrassed.

"I, uh, what a coincidence you're here, the Dursleys are out," he stammered.

"Well, Harry, it's all arranged, Tonks sent them a letter via the Muggle post saying they've been shortlisted for the Best Suburban Lawn in England and they're going to collect it now." Ivan said, seeing Harry's confused expression, "By the way, you don't know their names yet, let me introduce you..."

Following Ivan's introduction, Harry nodded awkwardly to each wizard.

Honestly, he wished they'd looked away, away from him.

In doing so, he felt embarrassed as if he had been suddenly invited on stage.

"The introductions are over. We'll have enough time to get to know each other," said Moody gruffly. "Harry, have you packed your things yet? We're leaving in fifteen minutes until the signal comes to tell us." As soon as everything is safe, leave immediately."

"Not yet, I'm going to clean up now, what's the current situation?" Harry turned to Ivan again, "Voltage..."

There were strange hisses from several wizards' mouths, and Diggle's funny big hat fell off his head.

"Shut up!" growled Moody. "Don't mention that name!"

"What's the matter?" Harry asked suspiciously, not expecting such a big reaction from them.

"This house is monitored and not very safe. It is best not to talk about sensitive things." Aiwen said.

He felt a vague magic around him, and the Ministry of Magic did have arrangements here.

Because of this, they can always detect Harry using magic or doing other things in the first place.

Of course, this kind of monitoring is very vague, but Voldemort's name is a very sensitive word.

"It's too dangerous to say anything here," Moody muttered dissatisfied.

His normal eye turned to Harry, while the magical eye remained fixed on the ceiling.

"Damn it!" he said angrily, raising a hand to take out the Oculus. "It's always stuck. It's been wrong since that scumbag wore it."

With a harsh crunch, like a piston being pulled out of a sink, Moody pulled out the magic eye.

"Mad-Eye, it's disgusting what you're doing, isn't it?" said Tonks, kindly.

"Excuse me, give me a glass of water, Harry," Moody demanded.

Harry went to the dishwasher, took out a clean glass, and filled it with clean water at the sink.

The wizards still stared at him, so relentlessly they stared at him.

Ivan was speechless for a while, and he knew from Harry's expression that he must be very uncomfortable. These people just looked at him like that.

"Thanks," said Moody, as Harry passed the glass over.

He threw the magic eye into the water and poked it up and down with his hands.

That eye whizzed around, staring at everyone in the room one by one.

"On the way back, I wish I had a 360-degree view."

"Come on, we'd better go up and pack our things. We'll be on our way soon after the signal. I'll help you, Harry!" Ivan said, pushing Harry so that he wouldn't stand here and be caught Look at it as a cherished animal.

"Me too!" said Tonks cheerfully, looking around curiously.

"It's a fun place," she said, "and it's too clean, you know what I mean? It's kind of unnatural, and my dad was a Muggle-born, but he's a typical slob. I guess there are a lot of Muggles too." All sorts, like a wizard. Oh, it's more or less..."

She nodded when they entered Harry's bedroom and Harry turned on the light, and Harry was embarrassed.

His room was indeed much messier than the rest of the house, and he had been shut up for four days, in a bad mood, and Harry hadn't even bothered to pack his things.

Most of his books were scattered on the floor, because he opened each one to distract his attention and then threw it aside.

Hedwig's cage needs cleaning, it's starting to stink.

His trunk was open, and Muggle clothes and wizarding robes could be seen jumbled inside, some scattered on the surrounding floor.

If possible, Harry hopes that he can let Ivan and Tonks come in for a visit after he can clean up.

"It's actually not bad!" Aiwen said, he didn't pack much, and Dobby the house elf was in charge.

He did a good job, always packing everything up at night so that no one would notice his presence.

Dobby helped Ivan a lot, which he didn't expect when he took Dobby in.

Perhaps, Harry could consider raising a house-elf in the room.

As Alvin and Harry chatted, they began to pick up the books one by one and hurriedly threw them into his trunk.

Tonks stopped in front of Harry's open wardrobe, looking critically at the mirror on the inside of the door.

"You know, I don't think violet actually suits me," she said worryingly, tugging at a lock of spiked hair. "Does it make my face look a little too sharp?"

"Huh?!" Harry looked at her over a book called Quidditch Teams in England and Ireland.

Ivan also raised his head and saw that Tonks' hair was changing slightly.

"Yes, that's right," said Tonks decisively.

She closed her eyes tightly, with a tense expression on her face, as if she was desperately trying to remember something.

A second later, her hair was a bubblegum pink.
