Chapter 504 Mad-Eye's Big Trouble

When Ivan and the others awoke the next morning, the Burrow had a dull atmosphere of the end of the holidays. 【】

With the rain still pattering against the windows, they began to dress for their school robes on the Hogwarts Express.

Ivan, Harry, Ron, Fred, and George went downstairs to have breakfast, and as soon as they reached the corner on the second floor, they saw Mrs. Weasley suddenly appearing at the bottom of the stairs, looking upset.

"Arthur!" she yelled upstairs, "Arthur! An urgent message from the Ministry of Magic!"

Mr. Weasley thumped past them and was gone in the blink of an eye, his robes turned backwards.

When everyone walked into the kitchen, they saw Mr. Weasley anxiously looking for something in the drawer.

"I remember there was a quill here!" Mr. Weasley was talking, leaning towards the fire.

Ahead of him, Amos Digory's head hung like a huge bearded egg in the flames.

He was talking rapidly, and the flames flew around it, licking its ears, but he was not hindered in the slightest.

"The Muggles who lived around heard the banging and the shouting, and they came calling, what do you call them, Kinza. Arthur, you must go...  "

"Here you are!" said Mrs. Weasley breathlessly.

She stuffed a piece of parchment, a bottle of ink, and a crumpled quill into Mr. Weasley's hands.

"It's a good thing I heard about it!" continued Mr. Diggory's head. "I had to be at the office early because I had to send two owls to deliver a message, and I found that the Misuse of Magic Office was out. He got us in a lot of trouble. Think about it, if Rita Skeeter made a big fuss about it, Arthur..."

"What did Mad-Eye say happened?" asked Mr. Weasley quickly.

He unscrewed the cap of the ink bottle, let the quill fill with ink, and was ready to record.

Hearing that they mentioned Moody, Ivan, who was stuffing a slice of bread into his mouth, secretly focused.

He probably knew what was going on, Voldemort and the vampires had moved, they had attacked Moody last night.

Just don't know if there was anything wrong with Crouch, but even if Barty Crouch Jr. hadn't been rescued, after the failed stadium attack, Voldemort would probably have done the same, letting others pass off as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts class Professor Moody embarks on a new plot to get Harry out of school.

With the strong help of the vampire, he will take action anyway, which is the key to his resurrection.

Inside the flames Mr Diggory turned his head.

"He said he heard someone break into his yard and he walked over quietly but was ambushed by his litter box."

"What did the dustbin do?" asked Mr. Weasley, taking notes with flying colors.

"Make a horrible bang and blow the rubbish all over the place, that's all I know," Mr Diggory said, "Apparently when Kincha arrived there was a dumpster that was still spraying rubbish. …”

"Where's the man who broke into the yard?" Mr. Weasley made a sound of pain.

"Arthur, you know Mad-Eye," said Mr. Diggory's head. "He's been trying to help us investigate the vampire thing, causing trouble everywhere. Just imagine someone sneaking into his yard in the middle of the night." Might be a feral cat that's lost a battle outside, wandering around aimlessly with potato peelings on it. But if someone from the Misuse of Magic Office catches Mad-Eye, he's out of luck, come to think of it If his criminal record is not serious, and your department is responsible for handling it, let's let him go, what punishment will he suffer if the trash can explode?"

"Probably be warned," said Mr. Weasley, his brow furrowed as he continued to take notes quickly. "Mad-Eye didn't use his wand? He didn't actually attack anyone, did he?"

"I daresay he jumped out of bed and looked out of the window, and wrecked whatever he saw!" sighed Mr. Diggory, "but it's hard for them to prove, because there were no casualties."

"Okay, I'll go now." Mr. Weasley said, stuffed the parchment of records into his mouth, turned around and rushed out of the kitchen.

Mr Diggory turned his head to look at Mrs Weasley.

"I'm so sorry, Mollie!" he said, in a much calmer tone, "to disturb you so early, but only Arthur can excuse Mad-Eye from punishment, who was to start a new life today." It's the job he's wanted for so many years. I don't understand why he chose last night..."

"Never mind, Amos," said Mrs. Weasley, "do you want to eat a piece of bread or something before you go?"

"Oh, well," said Mr Diggory.

Mrs. Weasley took a piece from the stack of bread and butter on the table, held it with tongs, and put it into Mr. Diggory's mouth.

"Thank you." He mumbled something, and then he disappeared with a soft poof.

Immediately, Mr. Weasley returned to the kitchen with his briefcase and said goodbye to everyone loudly, his clothes had not been turned inside out.

"I have to go quickly, I wish you all the best this semester, children." Mr. Weasley said to Ivan, Harry, Ron and the twins, while draping a cloak over his shoulders, Prepare to Apparate.

"Arthur, wait a minute, you need to comb your hair and change your robes before you go," said Mrs Weasley.

"Oh!" Mr. Weasley stopped and asked Mrs. Weasley to help him tidy up. "Molly, is it okay for you to send the children to King's Cross?"

"Of course!" she said. "Go and take care of Mad-Eye, we'll be all right."

As soon as Mr. Weasley disappeared, Hermione, Ginny, Bill, and Charlie walked into the kitchen.

"Someone mentioned Mad-Eye?" Bill asked. "What did he do?"

"He said someone tried to break into his house last night," said Mrs Weasley.

"Mad-Eye Moody?" said George thoughtfully, spreading marmalade on his slice of bread. "It's the madman..."

"Your father thought very highly of Mad-Eye Moody," said Mrs. Weasley sternly.

"Yeah, Dad still collects plugs, right?" Fred whispered after Mrs. Weasley had left the room. "They're the same kind of people..."

"Moody was a great wizard back then," Bill said.

"He's an old friend of Dumbledore's," said Charlie.

"Dumbledore isn't what you'd call normal, is he?" said Fred. "I mean, I know he's a genius, it's amazing..."

"Can someone tell me who Mad-Eye is?" asked Harry, who hadn't met Moody yet.

"He's retired now and used to work at the Ministry," said Charlie. "I saw him once, and Dad took me there when he worked with him. He's an Auror, the best of the best, for the Dark wizards." Master."

"That's right!" Bill added. "Half the cells in Azkaban were filled by him. But he also made a lot of enemies for himself, mainly the relatives of the people he caught. I heard He said that as he got older, he became more and more suspicious, he didn't believe in anything, and he saw black wizards everywhere he went."

"Yeah, Dad talked to Sirius about it a few days ago!" Ron agreed, "That Auror leader named Rufus Scrimgeour is also like this, suspicious, everyone looks like a bad guy, But Sirius spoke highly of him, saying that this is the strength of the Auror, don't trust others casually!"

"I don't know!" Harry said, "but I don't want Sirius to become like that in the future." (To be continued.).
