Chapter 291: The Eve of the Finals
Like Ivan, Harry didn't sleep well that night.
Tomorrow's Quidditch final put too much pressure on him, especially since he was the key to the Gryffindor team's victory. Harry had a lot of dreams over and over again.
At first he dreamed that he passed the time, and Wood was yelling, "Where were you just now? You didn't come to the game, we had to use Neville as a substitute!"
Then he dreamed that Malfoy and the rest of the Slytherins were all riding dragons to the race.
He was galloping like hell, trying to avoid the flames coming out of Malfoy's mount, when he realized he had forgotten the Firebolt.
He found that Malfoy was holding his Firebolt in his hand, and the other party was laughing. Harry was so shocked that he fell from the air and woke up suddenly.
It took about a few seconds before Harry remembered that the match hadn't taken place yet, and he was lying comfortably on the bed.
Also, people sure wouldn't have the Slytherin team riding a dragon to a race.
He turned over and continued to sleep. Ron's loud snoring could be heard from time to time. Harry curled up in the bed, his thoughts gradually blurred.
The next day, Aiwen had a rare sleep, and he was finally woken up by Colin.
"We have to hurry up, Harry and the other team members have already set off to the auditorium for breakfast!" Colin handed Ivan's wizard robes to him, "I asked Vicki to help us occupy two seats next to Harry, I wanted to say good luck to Harry before the game started."
Ivan reacted for a while before realizing what Colin was talking about.
He put on his clothes carelessly, and followed Colin to the auditorium in a hurry. It was very lively inside, with noise and applause everywhere.
People gathered around Harry and the rest of the Gryffindor team, Professor McGonagall, Sirius, and even quite a few Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs, all talking to the team. Best wishes.
Colin hurriedly pulled Ivan and squeezed in. Ivan saw that beside Harry, Qiu Zhang was whispering something to him. Harry blushed obviously, but just nodded.
"Good morning, Aiwen!" Qiu quickly noticed Aiwen who had just approached, and a gentle smile appeared on her face, looking very comfortable.
Before she could speak to Ivan, Luna, who was humming a weird, light tune, walked over.
Seeing the crazy girl Luna, everyone subconsciously took half a step back.
It was exactly the same as usual, and no one wanted to approach her at all. But Luna didn't seem to notice the abnormality. She sent her blessings to Harry like everyone else, and then turned to discuss with Ivan the harasser she encountered this morning.
"These creatures like to be invisible, but I think we can catch them if you're willing to help. My father has a very useful little spell." Luna said in a trance, her eyes dimmed with anticipation, " We can write an article about the process of finding and arresting the harassers and publish it in the latest issue of the newspaper."
"This is a good idea, Luna!" Ivan said apologetically, "But I have other plans today, so I can't accompany you to catch those harassers!"
According to the plan last night, Ivan was going to try to use the Hippogriff Buckbeak to fly to Aragog's lair after the Quidditch final.
Hopefully Harry wins the race and no one notices what he's up to.
Ivan stepped forward and patted Harry on the shoulder lightly, and Harry forced a smile.
Ivan turned around and saw Hermione waving to him in the corner, and he hurried over.
"Except for Snape and Slytherin, almost everyone is supporting Gryffindor." Hermione stared at Harry and the people around him who kept coming forward to say hello, and said dissatisfiedly, "I can understand them However, they are putting pressure on Harry by doing so. You know, in today's game, he must keep abreast of the Golden Snitch's movements, and he can only catch it when Gryffindor leads by more than 50 points."
"Calm down, Hermione, you look like Wood now!" Ivan filled his dinner plate as quickly as possible.
"Really?!" Hermione said in surprise, and just as Ivan was about to say something, her attention quickly shifted to Harry again.
The welcome ceremony didn't last long, and Wood quickly pushed everyone aside to give his players time for breakfast.
On the long table, he kept urging the team members to eat more, but he didn't move a single bite.
Then, before anyone else had finished eating, he blasted the players onto the field to familiarize them with the field.
When Harry and the others left the auditorium, there was another round of applause in the auditorium.
Except for the long table in Slytherin, the people sitting at the table booed loudly as Harry and the others passed by. But Malfoy wasn't involved, sitting nervously in his seat, paler than usual.
The upcoming Quidditch final is a test for all contestants.
Just like the game between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw more than a month ago, when the players went to the locker room to change, other little wizards rushed to the auditorium, hoping to grab a good one. Location.
This final was destined to be different from all previous Quidditch matches. Except for the students of Slytherin, everyone was clearly supporting Gryffindor.
At Aiwen's suggestion, Sirius prepared a lot of scarlet roses and scarlet flags with Gryffindor lions printed on them and distributed them to everyone. Other little wizards also spontaneously prepared a lot of small flags or large wooden boards, Cloth with slogans such as "Gryffindor Succeed!" and "The Lion Takes the Trophy!"
Now, just look down from the sky and see a sea of scarlet.
Three-quarters of the crowd wore scarlet roses and cheered for Gryffindor loudly.
The most eye-catching thing is a huge publicity board behind the Gryffindor auditorium, on which is a repeated, lifelike, and constantly changing colorful animation pattern: a Gryffindor lion is running on the green grass, and the players Men, Quaffles, and Bludgers whirled and flew around its body, and a small silver snake suddenly appeared to stop it, but the lion jumped up with unstoppable momentum and bit the air in mid-air. The golden snitch trampled on the silver snake.
The silver snake twisted unwillingly, and in the next second, the whole pattern turned into gorgeous fireworks.
"Gryffindor Victory!" A large slogan emerged from it, attracting everyone's attention. To be continued.
