Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 243 Visiting Ron

Ai Wen raised his head and found himself in a crowded waiting room.

Rows of witches and wizards sat on rickety wooden chairs, some looking normal, reading outdated Witch Weekly, others horribly deformed, with elephant trunks or an extra hand on their chest .

The hospital was not much quieter than the noisy Muggle streets just now, and many patients kept making strange noises.

A sweaty witch in the middle of the front row fanned a copy of the Daily Prophet, constantly blaring a high-pitched whistle and breathing steam. A scruffy wizard in the corner rattled like a bell, and his head wobbled so horribly at each sound that he had to hold on to his ear to hold it steady.

Ivan, Harry, and Hermione looked around curiously, feeling that their eyes were not enough.

In addition to normal diseases, here you can almost see patients suffering from various curses and black magic, with various reactions.

A group of witches and wizards in green robes hurried through the side corridor, asking about the situation of the waiting patients. The emblem embroidered on their chests is a cross of a wand and bone.

"Look at those people, are they doctors?" Harry whispered.

"That's what Muggle Hospitals say, it's called Healer here," Hermione replied. "It takes a very good grade on the Advanced Wizarding Rank examination to qualify for this profession. As far as I know, at least a Certificates in Potions, Herbology, Transfiguration, Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts."

"Oh, Potions, then I guess it's over, Snape won't let me pass!" said Harry, "but you'll be fine, Hermione!"

"But I don't want to be a therapist, it's a job with a lot of responsibility." Hermione raised her head and glanced at Ai Wen who was not far ahead, and whispered, "I prefer newspapers to therapists. Editor-in-chief of this job..."

"Yeah, I forgot!" Seeing Hermione's appearance, Harry smiled clearly, "You will definitely run the newspaper with Ivan."

Seeing Harry's expression, Hermione blushed and nodded embarrassedly, confirming this.

While Harry and Hermione were chatting, Evan was following Lupin to the line at the consultation counter, and in front of them was a fat blond witch. The wall behind her is plastered with notices and placards, such as cleaning the cauldron to prevent potions from turning into poison, antidote not to be used indiscriminately, approved by a qualified healer, etc.

Beside the counter, there is also a large portrait of a witch with long curly silver hair, which is marked: Dalys Derwent, St. Mungo's Healer (1722-1741), Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (1741- 1768)

As the most famous principal, she has a high reputation in history and has her portrait on many important occasions.

Derwent was a very amiable person, and when she met her in the school corridors, she always greeted the students, helped new students with directions, etc.

She is now carefully looking at the people in front of the counter, as if counting the number of people.

When she saw Ai Wen's eyes, she blinked slightly, "Hello, Ai Wen Mason, nice to see you outside the school!"

Derwent said hello, stepped out of the frame and disappeared.

At the head of the line, a young wizard danced a strange trot, shouting pain as he tried to explain his predicament to the witch behind the table.

"That's the shoe my brother gave me, oh, it's biting my foot, look here, there must be some curse on it, I, I can't take it off!" He jumped his feet alternately, It's like dancing on hot coals.

"Shoes don't prevent you from reading, right?" The blond witch said impatiently, pointing to the big sign on the side, "Go to the spell injury department on the fifth floor, next!"

The wizard hopped aside, and Ai Wen hurriedly took a few steps forward.

He turned his attention to the sign that the witch had just pointed to, and read the words: Artifact Accidents Section, first floor (explosion of cauldrons, misfires with wands, collisions with brooms, etc.); Biological Injury Section, second floor (stings, burns, Infectious bacteria, third floor (infectious diseases such as dragon pox, vanishing disease, lymphomycitis, etc.); Pharmacy and plant poisoning department, fourth floor (rash, nausea, laughing, etc.); spell damage Branch, 5th floor (can't get rid of spells, wrong spells, etc.); Tea room and shop, 6th floor.

If you don't know which department to go to, can't speak normally, or don't remember why you came, our receptionist is willing to help.

"Ron is under the Imperius Curse, we should go to the fifth floor!"

While Irving was reading the sign, Lupin walked to the table, and he asked gently, "Hello, we're coming to see Ron Weasley, may I ask what ward he is in."

"Ron Weasley?!" The witch looked down a long list with her fingers, "Oh, I found it, it was delivered from Hogwarts a week before Christmas, you have to go to the fifth floor, listen to the right hand on the floor. The second ward on the side!"

"thanks!"

They followed Lupin through the double doors and down a narrow corridor.

On either side are portraits of famous healers, and candle-filled crystal bubbles float from the ceiling, looking like giant soap bubbles.

At each door, wizards in green robes came in and out, and a yellow stench wafted from one door, and a faint wailing sound was heard from time to time.

They climbed the stairs, like four floors, into the Spell Damage Section.

Before they could search, they heard the voice of the Weasley family. Mrs. Weasley was throwing a tantrum, accusing Fred and George of a sleazy joke.

"Ron is recovering, you two can't be honest..."

Mrs. Weasley stopped suddenly, and she looked at the five of them as Ivan walked into the ward in surprise.

The next second, Mrs. Weasley hurried over, hugged Ivan, Harry, and Hermione in her arms, thanking the three of them for helping Ron at school with red eyes.

Ivan raised his head embarrassedly, and he saw Fred and George winking in front of him, with cheerful smiles on their faces.

Behind them, Percy walked over with a book in his hand, serious and serious.

Ginny was sitting on the chair in front of the hospital bed, nodded as a greeting, and looked at Harry flushed.

Beside her, Ron, who was lying in front of the hospital bed, also sat up, looking at the three of them excitedly, looking both happy and embarrassed.

The Weasleys were the same as usual, nothing changed.

"Although you said it before, I didn't expect you to come back today, after all, it's just after Christmas!" Mrs. Weasley said gratefully, "Arthur just left, because of Peter Pettigrew, the ministry has been in chaos recently. ."

After hugging Ivan, Harry, and Hermione in turn, she stood up to greet Sirius and Lupin.

It seemed that she and Sirius knew each other and were very familiar.

After a brief introduction, Harry hurriedly asked about Ron's recovery.

"There's basically nothing wrong. The therapist just came over to check and said that I can be discharged from the hospital under observation for a few days!" Ron patted his chest, indicating that he was healthy.

Immediately afterwards, he noticed that since he entered the ward, he had been flying around in the cage, constantly calling the little owl, and he looked at Sirius suspiciously.

"This is a gift for you, after all, I caused you to lose that rat..." Sirius explained.

"This owl gave me, I can't believe it, it's the best gift I've ever received!" Ron took the cage, looked at the owl with joy, then raised his head and said embarrassedly, " You didn't have to do this, I was... I was really dizzy at the time, I doubted you, and went to help Banban..."

"It's not yours, Ron!" said Harry hastily. "You broke the Imperius Curse at the last moment."

Sirius and Lupin hurried to persuade him, and said they had forgiven Ron for what he had done.

"Who would have thought that Peter Pettigrew was an Animagus, he was so good at hiding!" Fred said.

"Yeah, until now, I can't believe Scabbers is Peter Pettigrew!" George said, "I can't believe he has lived in our house for more than ten years."

Hearing his words, Mrs. Weasley and Percy had lingering expressions on their faces, which was scary enough to think about.

If Peter Pettigrew had other plans, the consequences would be disastrous. (To be continued.)
