Chapter 1807 No Perfect Person
Harry didn't speak, he knew Hermione was right, and more importantly, he hated himself for wishing she was true: Dumbledore really cared about him.
"What's the matter with you two?" Sirius came over and asked, he took a deep look at the ruins of the house in front of him, "I heard some voices, are you arguing?"
After a moment of silence, Hermione wiped her tears and said, "Harry wants to go to Bathilda Bagshot and ask about Dumbledore's past."
Sirius looked stunned, and instantly understood what happened, he said, "I remember we discussed this before, Harry, many things are not what you imagined."
Harry didn't say a word, he didn't really want to talk about it or argue with Sirius again.
He'd been trying to avoid conflict with Sirius since the incident at Malfoy Manor.
"Listen, Harry, I know what you're thinking, but we all make mistakes and no one is perfect, and Dumbledore is no exception." Sirius took a deep breath and said, "Even James the same."
Harry recalled his memory of seeing Snape in the Pensieve again.
The part about his father, how he made Snape mock with his head down and his underwear showing. He had a deep distaste for it, and it was one of the main reasons for his previous fight with Sirius.
"I can understand that you think so well of everyone you love, but that doesn't mean they haven't been assholes. People are complicated, and we can't judge a person's life based on a few things. Dumbledore Lido made mistakes in his early years. I don’t know much about them, but you have to believe that I was no less stimulated and surprised when I knew these things than you! But Dumbledore changed later. When we met him, he was already a world leader. The greatest White Wizard in the world, fighting on the front line against evil and darkness."
"If Voldemort has changed, we should forgive him?" Harry said disapprovingly, "I can't do that."
"The nature of the matter is different. Dumbledore has done nothing that hurt others irreparably. As for Voldemort, he has done many things that cannot be forgiven by the world, and he will undoubtedly continue to be a jerk, and even wants to be An evil evil god came to rule over mortals! This is not surprising, because he is no longer a human being." Sirius continued, "As for the question you mentioned, think about that Riddle, who just saved him not long ago. Ron, what do you think should be done with him?"
Harry didn't know how to answer, he felt differently about fifteen-year-old Riddle.
Just like Sirius said, the other party did not do anything to hurt others. He was separated from Voldemort's soul when he was fifteen years old, and he was recognized by Dumbledore and Ivan. Not long ago Helping them save Ron, even he can't be regarded as a Horcrux. Harry couldn't see a reason to destroy it, even if he was Riddle.
But what about Riddle? It was not Riddle who was at fault, but Voldemort!
"But Dumbledore..." Harry didn't know what to say, "did he kill his sister?"
"I am skeptical about this. That woman dares to write anything in order to make the book sell well. From what I know about Dumbledore, he would not do such a thing, even that Dumbledore with dark thoughts Lido. Harry, as much as I love you, Dumbledore loves his sister. And from what I know, it may be because of his sister's sudden death that Dumbledore really changed his mind."
"He never told me anything."
"Maybe he wants you to understand all this. This has always been Dumbledore's style, not to tell everything, but to provide guidance. I don't know what the world of the dead is like, but I dare say, Aiwen If we really go there, we will definitely meet Dumbledore. He is always like this, showing up when we need him most, and giving just the right help." Sirius continued, "He will definitely guess, in his After leaving, you will learn about his early experiences, of course, he did not hide or erase these traces, there may be something in it that he wants you to know. There are also things he left for you , that Riddle and the Resurrection Stone may also want to convey some information to you, and think it will be helpful to you."
Harry was silent, not denying that there was indeed such a possibility as Sirius said.
It's like in first grade, his first impression of Dumbledore through the Philosopher's Stone incident.
In the end-of-semester ward, Ron had asked if it was Dumbledore's intention for Harry to do these things, to give him his father's Invisibility Cloak on purpose, to lead him to those things.
And the mirror, Dumbledore must have made him look at it on purpose, and Harry remembered his answer, he remembered it very clearly.
"Dumbledore is a very interesting person. I think he probably wanted to give me a chance. He seems to know more or less what happened here. I think he knows exactly what we are going to do. He didn't stop us. Instead, he secretly taught us many useful things. He seems to think that I have the right to face Voldemort if possible..."
Sirius' words reminded Harry that Dumbledore had always done this.
In the first grade, when facing Quirrell and Voldemort who conspired to steal the resurrection stone.
The same is true now!
Many things, Harry felt that Dumbledore's shot could be easily solved, but he didn't do it. Instead, he went around to guide Harry and Ivan to do it. Even though it seemed unnecessary, he still insisted on doing so, because This is the fact they need to face, and only by doing so can they have a chance to grow.
What matters is not the result, but the process.
But Harry still doesn't understand why Dumbledore gave him the Resurrection Stone.
The words on the Golden Snitch were opened at the last moment. That is, Dumbledore thinks he will need the Resurrection Stone or Riddle at the last moment? What help could they give him? And when was the last moment, in the face of Voldemort?
Harry thought about this, he didn't know much about the Resurrection Stone, except that the stone was part of the Hallows, and it was impossible to really resurrect people, he didn't know anything.
Or, he should have read the story in the book that Dumbledore had left Hermione with.
The last enemy to be destroyed is death... Harry thought of the inscription on his parents' tombstone again, and somehow, he seemed to have caught something, but he couldn't tell.
