Chapter 1347 Negligence and Petrification
"Otherwise, I don't think it's likely that you will be invited. Burning the text novel said ????????`" Zabini said to himself, without giving Malfoy any face, "Look It seems that the people he invited were all related to the family and the ministry or remained neutral. When I first passed, he asked me about Nott’s father. It seemed that they were old friends. But he heard that Noott Nott's father was arrested by the Ministry, and his face darkened, and Nott wasn't invited, was it? So, save yourself, I don't think Slughorn is interested in Death Eaters."
Malfoy looked annoyed at Zabini's words, but he forced a dry smirk.
"Hmph, who cares what he's interested in? Besides, what is he? Just a stupid schoolteacher." Malfoy yawned exaggeratedly, "I mean, maybe I won't be in Hoag next year Watts, what does it matter to me whether some old fat old man likes me or not?"
"What are you talking about, maybe you won't be at Hogwarts next year?" Pansy asked angrily, and immediately stopped combing Malfoy's hair, "Where are you going? Are you leaving us?"
"Yeah, you will never know where I am going, and you will never imagine it." Malfoy said with a smug smile, "It's okay to tell you, maybe I will be promoted by then, and I will go Do, uh, more important, more exciting things."
"Just like what that Mason did in Egypt this summer..." Gore subconsciously said.
"They said he defeated a demon."
"It's more important than that, idiot, and don't mention that Mudblood anymore," Malfoy snapped. "Do you think serving the Dark Lord is less of a Mudblood's adventure?"
The effect of his words was immediate, and the box immediately became quiet.
Pansy stared at Malfoy dumbfounded, and Crabbe and Goyle stared at him stupidly.
Obviously, they were intimidated by Voldemort's name, and even Zabini's haughty face showed a little curiosity.
Harry curled up on the luggage rack wrapped in the Invisibility Cloak, his heart beating rapidly.
Work for Voldemort?
Sure enough, what Malfoy was going to do, Irwin, Hermione and Ron should really listen to his words.
After a brief silence, Zabini asked tentatively, "You mean to work for the Dark Lord?"
"Of course, otherwise what do you think?" Malfoy shrugged, "Mother wants me to finish my studies, but I personally don't think that's so important nowadays. Think about it, after the Dark Lord gains power, who else will he care about?" Did you pass a few o.w.ls or n.e.w.ts? Does he still care about your performance in school? Of course not, he only cares about how others serve him and how they show their loyalty to him."
"I know that everyone wants to show their loyalty to the Dark Lord. I heard that many foreign dark wizards have come to this country, but what can you do for him?" Zabini asked sharply, "You are only sixteen Years old, I haven't obtained formal qualifications yet."
"Didn't I just say that? Maybe he doesn't care if I'm qualified, maybe the job he wants me to do doesn't require much qualification." Malfoy said softly, "Just wait and see."
Sabini fell silent, and Crabbe and Goyle sat there with their mouths gaping open like two monstrous gargoyles.
Pansy stared down at Malfoy, as if she had never seen anything so awe-inspiring.
Harry held his breath, wishing Malfoy would continue talking about what he was going to do for Voldemort.
But Malfoy knew how to let it go, and was obviously satisfied with the effect he had created.
He pointed out the dark window and said, "Ah, I saw Hogwarts, we'd better change into school robes quickly."
Harry blinked, then jerked back.
Goyle got up and took their boxes, too much.
As he pulled the box down, it hit Harry's head hard with a dull thud, causing him to gasp in pain.
Malfoy looked up at the luggage rack, frowning.
Harry was still crying and his head was still throbbing, but he drew his wand. At the same time, he was careful not to mess up the Invisibility Cloak, ready, Harry wasn't afraid of Malfoy, but thought it wouldn't be a good thing for a bunch of unfriendly Slytherins to find him hiding in the Cloak.
To Harry's relief, Malfoy stared at the luggage rack for a moment, as if deciding that the voice he had just heard was just a hallucination, and he put on his school robes like everyone else, locked the trunk, and when the train slowed and slowed down, He wrapped a new thick traveling cloak around his neck as he slid forward.
Seconds later, Harry could see the aisle filling up again.
He even heard Hermione yelling, leading the first years out of the carriage.
Harry hoped Ron would remember to carry his luggage to the platform, where he was now stuck until the carriage was empty.
I hope I don't delay too long and miss the carriage...
Finally, with a final clang, the train came to a complete stop.
Gore jerked the door open and squeezed his way into a group of second graders, punching and kicking them aside, followed by Crabbe and Zabini.
"You go with them first," Malfoy said to Pansy, "I have one more thing to check."
Pansy waited for him with outstretched hands, as if hoping he would take hers.
She looked at Malfoy suspiciously, turned and left the box.
Now, there were only Harry and Malfoy left, and Harry gripped his wand tightly.
People filed past and got off onto the darkened platform.
Malfoy went to the door of the carriage, lowered the curtain so that no one in the passage outside could peer in, then bent down and opened the trunk again.
Harry looked down over the edge of the luggage rack, his heart beating faster.
This was really suspicious, what was Malfoy hiding from other people?
So, was he about to see that mysterious thing that was broken and needed Borgin's repair?
In the next second, a red light hit him head-on.
"All petrified!"
It was too late to speak, Malfoy pointed his wand at Harry, and Harry froze instantly.
As if in slow motion, he swayed from the luggage rack and fell down.
Harry fell heavily and painfully at Malfoy's feet, the Invisibility Cloak under him.
His body was exposed, his legs still ridiculously curled up in a stiff kneeling position.
He couldn't move at all, he could only look up at Malfoy, who smiled smugly...
