Closing Remarks
Rather than saying it is a thank you note, let's just write a summary.
The biggest reason for the end is nothing more than the performance. The performance of this book is really bad. How bad is it? The first order was only 180. After three months of persistence, the performance still hasn't improved much. The author is not young anymore, and it is difficult to generate power for love and support it completely by passion.
I originally wanted to persist for another two months and write at least 800,000 words, but I suddenly felt unwell during the Chinese New Year, which was the last straw that pushed me to finish this book. Fortunately, I went for several examinations around the New Year. Although there were many problems, there was no serious illness.
This is the first time to write a fairy-tale theme. The book was originally planned to have four volumes.
The first volume is about trivial matters in the world. The protagonist leaves the sect and travels around Daxia. Through one case after another, he follows clues to lead to the conspiracy of the court. Therefore, the plan for the first volume is to expand the world view and promote the story through reasoning and solving cases.
However, the effect is very poor. There are too many comments that don't like the reasoning plot. I really didn't dare to write later, and hurried to the second volume.
The second volume is about the court and the clan, the conspiracy of the royal family, the contradiction between the court and the clan, etc. Through this war, the grievances between the demons and the human race are brought out.
The problem with this volume is that the writing is not strong enough. Many of the pictures imagined in my mind are not very satisfactory.
The third volume should be about the story of the protagonist traveling around the nine states after the unification of the nine states. It is about the story of the enfeoffment of the mountain gods and river gods.
The fourth volume is about the war between the human race and the demon race.
The setting of the third volume is similar to the first volume. It is a small story that slowly leads to the following story. It is a pity to cut this part, but fortunately, cutting this part does not have a great impact on the main line.
The ending is written according to the setting that was thought of at the beginning. Although it ended in a hurry, the main story is actually relatively complete. Of course, I am still ashamed of this result.
Through this book, I also realized some problems, such as the lack of detail in writing. In the first two books, I focused more on creating a comedic atmosphere and conceiving more jokes, so the plot was not so detailed. However, this became a problem when writing Xianxia. The story started and ended in a hurry. I felt that the story was not full enough and the characters were not three-dimensional enough.
This leads to another problem, updating. My level is not enough to support me to shape a character very three-dimensionally with a small amount of text.
For example, in the second volume, I originally wanted to invest a lot of ink in the character of Yun Daoning, but it didn't work. Once I focused on describing him, it might take three or five chapters. At my update speed, it would take two to three days. If I don't see the protagonist for two or three days, readers will run away and will be sprayed with water text. This problem is not a problem for authors who update quickly. Five chapters a day, even if the first four chapters of 8,000 words are for supporting roles, there are still scenes for the protagonist on the same day.
Then the question is, how slow is the author typing.
It's not that the typing is slow. The author even learned double pinyin for typing, but the speed of writing books is not good. Millions of words are written, and one chapter takes one and a half hours at the best state.
When I first started writing books, I used to hang out in the author group and met a few friends who were writing books. One day, I was in a good mood and I was playing with one of my author friends. We agreed to see who could finish two chapters of 4,000 words first.
After I started, I felt like my thoughts were flowing like a spring. I wrote 800 words in half an hour. At this moment, QQ suddenly rang. I opened it and saw that the other person had finished one chapter. After another half an hour, I had written 1,500 words, and this guy had finished two chapters. This incident is still fresh in my memory.
I am not making excuses when I say this, I am just sharing and telling you some of the author's situation truthfully.
I still have to continue writing books. After this failed transformation, the next book will return to entertainment. I will try to keep it light and funny, not as nonsensical as before, and write more carefully. I hope to keep the previous advantages and continue to improve.
The new book will be released tomorrow... the day after tomorrow... the day after tomorrow... Anyway, I will release it in the next few days. Friends who like it still hope you can support it.
