Chapter 1036: Shabby Desert Camp

A planet with natural life.

A young man with ordinary appearance sat on a sand dune and looked at the shabby camp in the distance. The gray tent had been used for who knows how many years and was tattered as if it could be blown away by the wind at any time. The fire and smoke showed that there were still people there. The young man was wearing a light mecha and carrying a gun, and he looked dusty as if he had walked a long way.

"I haven't seen the good world for a few years and it has become like this. It's really a way to kill oneself."

After taking off the helmet and pouring out the yellow sand inside, the young man put the helmet back on his head, but he didn't buckle it. Instead, he pulled the strap and walked towards the tent area, leaving a string of footprints on the sand dunes behind him...

The young man was none other than the Rubik's Cube, but he was just a clone created by the Rubik's Cube, with a body similar to that of a human. It's not that the Rubik's Cube didn't want to personally come out to solve the problem of the civil war in the mechanical civilization, but that he couldn't do it. Not long after becoming a god, the Rubik's Cube found that his strength was declining rapidly, so he had to take his family to the main starship to find a way to recover. As a result, his strength became lower and lower after a few years. The strange thing is that he is still immortal, but he has lost his strong fighting power. The Rubik's Cube without strength can't mediate the war, nor can he let his family appear. The main starship means to let nature take its course. Maybe through the war, he can find a way to become powerful again.

So, the Rubik's Cube stayed inside the starship every day, fishing, growing vegetables, raising flowers, walking birds, or playing with children. The unique world inside the starship allowed the Rubik's Cube to live a comfortable life.

But he couldn't ignore the chaos outside, so he had to make an ordinary body again and split a small part of his mind to see what the universe was like. He used space technology to appear on this planet. The database originally indicated that this was a natural, beautiful and prosperous planet, but after walking for three days and three nights, he saw nothing but sand or various mechanical army wreckage.

When he walked to the outskirts of the tent camp, the Cube finally saw what was in the camp.

"This is like a space refugee camp..."

A group of homeless people from a certain alien race opened their green hands to beg. They were so tattered and still begging. No one believed they could get anything valuable. The Cube knew that race, they were slow and lazy, and they could only eat food for ten days. They were the only ones who could survive in this desolate camp by begging.

An old vehicle drove over, and the dust rolled up from the rear of the vehicle, drowning the figure of the cube. When the cube wiped the dust off his face and saw what was pulled in the car, he was very speechless. It was a machine gun of a high-level mechanical soldier, covered with scars and barely usable...

The scorching sun and the rolling yellow sand, all creatures' faces were covered with sweat and yellow sand. The door opened, and a bearded man got out of the car and walked to the largest tent and knocked on the window.

"Boss Ma! Look at how much food I can exchange for this machine gun I just picked up!"

Crack! The glass window opened, revealing a wretched bald man lying on the window and looking at the machine gun in the car.

"Without ammunition, only the machine gun is worthless, three bags of white flour, shells! Shells are valuable! I have a lot of this kind of machine gun here!" The bald man named Ma shouted in the window. The cube was speechless. A machine gun was only worth three bags of white flour. Thinking about it, it was clear that three bags of white flour were comparable to gold on a barren planet full of deserts.

"I'm telling you, Boss Ma, don't go too far! I worked so hard to dig this thing out of the sand dunes, and you give me three bags of flour? Believe it or not, I'll sell the machine gun to those savages!" The bearded man didn't buy into the bald man's tricks.

"Don't scare me with the savages! Even if the savages come, I'm fine. Since you've worked here for many years, I'll give you three and a half bags of flour. If you agree, you can exchange it. If you don't agree, you can go find those damn savages! Do you want to exchange it?"

The bearded man spat and gritted his teeth and said the word "exchange". The bald man happily asked several men to carry the machine gun into the backyard.

The Mofang walked into the tent camp and wandered around. There were monks, ordinary people, enhanced people, and various alien races. The tattered tents were enough as long as they could block the scorching sun. No one cared whether there was sand blowing in. They were dressed very simply, with simple coarse cloth clothes, or some people had light mechas, which were stripped from the corpses of human warriors of the Mechanical Empire on the battlefield. Even the monks were using the standard Tang swords of mechanical soldiers.

The so-called white flour is not ordinary white flour but processed white flour. If you pinch a small piece and put it in water, it can ferment into a big steamed bun, which is enough for an adult to eat.

There is a water bucket in the camp. In front of the bucket, several ordinary monks are selling water. They use magic to condense water or ice cubes to meet the water supply of the camp. Of course, the price is definitely not low, and the standard currency of the Mechanical Empire is used.

"Hey~ New here! How about I exchange a bowl of white flour for your light mecha?"

A big man in the tattered tent shouted at the Rubik's Cube. The Rubik's Cube walked over without even looking at it. The Rubik's Cube wanted to find a fighter or a spaceship to leave here and go to the earth or other planets. Who knows if there are any aircraft that can travel in space here. Even if there are, the Rubik's Cube thinks it is very likely to disintegrate halfway...

Bang bang bang~ The Rubik's Cube knocked on the window.

The bald man opened the window and looked at the Rubik's Cube and then at the guns and mecha.

"Are you a human soldier from the mechanical army scattered here? Don't ask me how I can tell. I advise you to leave early because there are those damn Decepticon robots everywhere overhead. They will kill you!" The bald man made a vicious expression and tried to close the window.

Before he could close the window, Rubik's Cube blocked it with his hand.

"You talk too much nonsense. I just want to know if there are any spaceships that can travel between stars. If there are, tell me where they are."

The bald man looked at Rubik's Cube.

"Of course there is, but it's in a city more than 20 days away from here. I hope you can get there alive."

Snap! The window was shut tightly. The Cube really wanted to throw a grenade here to kill the idiot whose brain was irradiated. He didn't think about getting treatment even though the radiation level was so high, but he was showing off every day. Looking at the broken tent, the Cube felt that the grenade was much more valuable than the broken tent.

Looking back at the aliens of various races napping under the broken tent, the Cube felt that he should find a map.

When the Cube was looking around, three humans came over. One of them was holding a standard pistol for mechanical soldiers, and the other two were holding mechanical soldier bayonets. Obviously, all the weapons were picked up from the ruins of the battlefield.

"Newcomer, put down your gun! Take off your mecha!"

The Cube narrowed his eyes and sighed. He dared to come out to rob without even a bullet in his gun. He really treated everyone as a fool. He punched and kicked hard. In the blink of an eye, the three robbers were lying on the ground. The Cube went over to pick up the pistol and took a look. It was okay. It was well preserved. He would find some bullets when he had a chance and put them in his pocket.

He squatted down, felt around the three people with his hands and took out a piece of white dough and a tattered map. Then he threw the dough to a few beggars who picked up the map and examined it carefully.
