Chapter 4: A Letter of Admission
Aaron put the dragon egg on the bed in the bedroom to bask in the sun. Although the light may shift with the movement of the sun, the little guy is so smart that he can definitely roll to a sunny place by himself.
"Master, we should set off. You are already an hour later than usual."
"I know. I am the boss, not a part-time clerk. I decide when to go." Aaron said impatiently.
"Then why don't we not go today? I see that you are having a lot of fun. Compared with happiness, Galleons are not worth mentioning at all." Jins said, and he really thought so.
"That won't work. As a boss, it is necessary to inspect the work.
You don't want me to be as irresponsible as my father when I take over the family business in the future!"
Jins touched his nose angrily. This kind of arranging the words of the head of the family is not something he, a mere butler, can say.
A few minutes later, the two came to the fireplace to use the Floo powder.
After the green flame flashed, they arrived at Aaron's Beverage Shop in Diagon Alley one after another.
"System, sign in."
"Sign in at Diagon Alley and get two magic points."
Hearing this familiar voice, Aaron nodded with satisfaction, and immediately devoted himself to a day's work, that is, learning some simple spells, reading news from the newspaper, appreciating the work of employees, and thinking about how to deduct their wages this month.
After all, he is the boss! In this era when the information network is not very developed, there are only these fun things.
A few hours later, Aaron stood up lazily from the recliner, "Jin Si, why don't I go back to see the little guy first, please take care of the business in the store."
The next moment, Jin Si directly Apparated in front of Aaron and said confidently: "I will go wherever the young master goes. This is the order given to me by the master before he left."
"Beautiful." Aaron's mouth twitched, but he didn't say much.
With his current strength as an intermediate magician, he really couldn't do anything to Gaius. This butler is at least at the level of a magician, and may even be a great magician.
But it doesn't matter. Outside, he has to give Genes some face, because he is a bodyguard sent by Vico Gaius.
But once you enter the castle, you are the master of your own house, and the butler has no right to ask what you want to do.
"I want to experience the Apparition, can I?"
"This?" Genes hesitated, "Master, no, boss, you are really embarrassing me. I can Apparition alone, of course, it's okay to bring another person, but I can't guarantee your safety 100%.
Just in case, I mean just in case!
If there is any damage, I can't explain to the master.
Besides, you won't like the feeling of Apparition. Many wizards would rather change transportation than use this magic, even if they know that this magic is very convenient."
"Tsk, it's really boring." Aaron said uninterested, "In that case, let's go back at 6 pm! Otherwise, it's a waste of Floo powder to go back and forth like this all day."
"Just be happy." Genes didn't care.
......
In the next few days, Aaron still repeated his previous life, but every day he had more expectations, because it meant that he was one step closer to the dragon egg hatching.
On the seventh day, Aaron did not go to Diagon Alley to sign in for the first time. He just stared at the white dragon egg at home, fearing that he would miss the moment when the little guy was born.
"Young... Young Master."
A slight shout came from behind him. Aaron turned his head and saw the house elf coming over with a letter.
"Today is a good day. My parents finally remembered that they have a son like me?"
"No, young master.
This letter is not sent by the master and the lady, but it is also sent to you. When will you read it?"
"Send it to me?" Aaron was a little surprised and smiled, "This is really interesting. I don't know who else would send me a letter besides them."
This is not to say that Aaron is unpopular. He doesn't know anyone except his parents.
There are relatives, but if they want to send letters, they should send them directly to Vico Gaius or Lisanna Gaius, not to him, an eleven-year-old boy.
There are friends, but most of them are not close, and the relationship is not good enough to send letters to communicate.
"Bring it here!"
"Okay, young master." Yobi walked forward a few steps and respectfully put the letter in Aaron's hand.
London
Gaius Castle
Mr. Aaron Gaius
"It's quite simple." Aaron chuckled, turned the envelope over, and was stunned when he saw the logo on it.
In the center of the shield-shaped logo is a capital H, and the lion, snake, badger, and eagle occupy the four corners of the shield respectively.
This is not the most important thing. The most important thing is that there is the word "Hogwarts" above the logo.
"Joby, hurry up and call Uncle Genes over." Aaron said excitedly, opening the envelope with some trembling.
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Principal: Albus Dumbledore (President of the International Confederation of Wizards, First-Class Grand Wizard of the Order of Merlin, Chief Wizard of the Wizengamot)
Dear Mr. Gaius:
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Attached is a list of required books and equipment.
The semester is scheduled to start on September 1st, and we will wait for your owl to bring your reply before July 31st.
Principal
Sincerely, Albus Dumbledore
"Hahaha!"
After reading the letter word for word, Aaron had a silly smile on his face, and his laughter was a little weird, but it did not make people feel scared, but made people feel a little sad and sympathetic.
"Master, are you looking for me?"
Genes' figure suddenly appeared behind Aaron.
"Yes, that's right." Aaron adjusted his mood, stood up, and slapped the "admission letter" in his hand directly into his arms, "Take a good look, what is this?"
"A letter from Hogwarts?" Genes raised his eyebrows slightly, "Master, what do you mean? Are you going or not?"
"Yes, of course I'm going.
My dad said that when I receive the admission letter from the magic school, you can't follow me before I graduate. This is what I dream of!"
Genes blinked and smiled awkwardly: "The principal of Hogwarts is the strongest White Devil now. The master believes that he can protect the safety of the students, so he doesn't Let us follow, of course we can't play tricks under the nose of a great wizard.
But the master actually prefers Durmstrang, which only recruits pure-blood wizards, the teachers are not bad, and the most important thing is that the Gaius family can negotiate with the school, so that you will have someone to take care of you. "
"What the hell? Someone to take care of you?" Aaron widened his eyes and said angrily: "No, I won't go to Durmstrang, I won't go even if you kill me.
Hogwarts, that's right, I want to go to Hogwarts, I want to pursue freedom, no one can stop me. "
Jin's eyes twitched slightly, and he kept complaining in his heart: What do you mean you won't go even if you kill me?
"Of course, the final decision is always in your hands, so let's go to Hogwarts!
However, this matter is of great importance, so I still need to tell the master and the lady."
Aaron was silent for a moment, and then said, "Okay! But I won't change my mind.
But hurry up, today is July 24th, if they have a lot of fun on the other side of the earth and don't have time to come back, they probably won't see their baby son for half a year."
"Of course, I'll write a letter now." Jins smiled, and then he glanced at the dragon egg on the table, feeling the faint magical fluctuations, vitality and inexplicable sacredness coming from it, "You should let the master know about this dragon egg!"
"Okay." Aaron nodded. After all, if he wants to bring the little guy openly in the future, he really needs the operation of his parents. If nothing else, at least he needs to get a reasonable approval document.
"Joby."
"Yes." The house-elf stood up straight immediately, "What do you want, young master?"
"Where is the owl that delivered the letter? I was planning to ask it to reply!"
"Joby will bring it here right away." The house-elf said, and ran outside quickly. When he came back, he was followed by a gray owl that was about half the size of his body.
Aaron tore a piece of paper from the table and wrote a sentence:
I am honored to receive this acceptance letter. I will report on time on September 1st.
Sincerely, Aaron Gaius
"Isn't this too simple?" Jins said. This letter was the simplest letter he had ever seen, no one else.
"No need." Aaron waved his hand and sealed the paper in the envelope. "First of all, I'm only eleven years old, a child, and I don't have such complex literary talent.
Secondly, Hogwarts only wants a reply. They won't give special treatment to anyone with good writing skills, nor will they treat anyone differently because of poor writing skills.
If I write a long and eloquent article, people may not have the time to read it. Instead, they will suspect that I asked someone to write it for me."
Jin thought about it and it seemed to be true, but he still quietly clicked his wand and changed the envelope for the letter to a more high-end one.
