Chapter 25 His Name Is Levi
"It's easy. Just learn a few tricks from the masters outside the school. As long as you are willing to pay, the effect will be very fast." Milo said.
"Hongta Street?"
"Yes."
"Are you familiar with that place? I have never been to Hongta Street."
"I will be familiar with it if you treat me to a meal."
"You kid." Phil laughed and scolded Milo and hit him.
"Don't talk, listen carefully!" The teacher on the stand was still writing on the blackboard, and said without turning his head.
"Ahem." The two looked up and pretended to listen to the class.
Phil made an OK gesture behind the textbook.
Milo on the left gave a thumbs up.
Dinglingling, the school bell echoed throughout the campus.
For a while, students wearing various clothes poured out of the teaching building. Edelweiss Middle School certainly has its own school uniform, and the style is quite beautiful. But the school did not have a strict rule that school uniforms must be worn on campus, so everyone was casual.
"Phil, do you want to go to the barbecue? Oh, Milo, you are here too? Let's have a barbecue together. There are seven or eight of us here."
Not far away, a red-haired boy with a black backpack waved his hand. There were some other classmates next to him, three boys and four girls. One of them was a beautiful girl named Yufei, who was the class flower.
She wore a lake blue dress, which showed off her slender waist. Her fair skin with her face and arms exposed was as delicate as cream. Her long black hair was tied into a braid and placed on one side, and the overall look was pure and elegant.
The breeze blew, and she brushed her hair behind her ears from time to time.
Yufei was indeed very attractive to boys of this age, and the boys passing by would occasionally glance at this side obscurely.
"How about it? Do you want to go?" The red-haired boy waved his hand.
"Forget it, Milo and I have something to do. We'll meet next time, next time." Phil pushed Milo's shoulder and left.
After passing the tree-lined avenue and bypassing the circular flowerbed, the two finally walked out of the school gate. Milo couldn't help but say at this time.
"Phil, why don't we agree to go to the barbecue with them? It's so hard to see Yufei come out to play together." Milo stroked his hair and looked back at the avenue behind.
In the distance, there was a small group of seven or eight people talking and laughing.
"Yufei? She's not Senior Sister Tifa, what's so strange about it?" Phil moved the black shoulder bag from the left to the right.
"But Yufei is much prettier than Senior Sister Tifa..."
"Yes, but I didn't say that I like Senior Sister Tifa because she is beautiful..." Phil took a step forward with the shoulder bag: "Well, I can't convince you anyway, let's go."
The two had dinner around first, and then walked towards Hongta Street. Phil and Milo are both freshmen at Edelweiss Middle School. They are 16 this year. One has joined the school's fighting club and the other has joined the school's swordsmanship club.
Milo's family is not rich, but not poor either. Phil's family runs a company and has business in several surrounding cities. So, Phil usually pays for meals with his pocket money, and Phil pays for everything they go out to play.
"Finally here."
Phil drank the cold drink in his hand in one gulp and threw it into the trash can.
He glanced forward.
The red and yellow afternoon sun sprinkled on the stone road, and there was a faint reflection in his eyes when he looked at it sideways. There was a lawn coated with a layer of golden red on the side of the road, and there were several people hanging colorful flags on the trees, as if there was some activity recently.
Milo and Phil walked along the side of the sidewalk to the depths of Hongta Street, and there were also sparse pedestrians walking back and forth beside them. After passing through an arch, the buildings in front began to become more and more dense, and occasionally the logo of XX martial arts hall and XX dojo could be seen.
Finally, Milo stopped at a corner.
Phil looked up and saw the Gray Seal Martial Arts School. There were two promotional pictures on the wall next to it. One had the exaggerated bold words "Fighting!" and the other had a simple and clear large fist with an explosion effect around it.
Below were some enrollment notices, fees, etc.
"Is this martial arts school different from others?"
Phil couldn't help asking.
"Hehe, I only knew about it two or three days ago. This Gray Seal Martial Arts School hired a powerful coach ten days ago, who is really talented. Moreover, he also provides the kind of service I told you about: teaching you a fighting skill that will be effective in a short time. Although it costs money, it is said to be very useful."
Milo took a sip of the drink in his hand and said.
"Yesterday, I came here to play with Sina from the sword club, and I saw him beat Coach Kosia with three moves during the sparring."
"Coach Kosia!" Phil was a little surprised. Because Kosia is one of the three fighting coaches officially hired by the Edelweiss Middle School Fighting Club, and he is definitely really talented. Coach Kosia likes to go to nearby martial arts halls in his spare time to fight with other coaches in actual combat. There are very few defeats, at most draws.
I didn't expect to suffer a loss here yesterday.
"Let's go, go in and take a look." Milo led Phil directly into the gate. There was only a receptionist sitting quietly in the hall.
He also held a gray-white Shirakawa City Evening News in his hand.
"Hello, do you want to learn martial arts? Or are you looking for a coach?"
The top edge of the newspaper moved down, revealing a slightly wrinkled old man's face. His hair was bald in the middle, but the left and right sides were exaggeratedly spread out, like a pair of gray and white bat wings.
"Ah, let's take a look, let's take a look first." Milo said.
The two left the hall and walked in along the stone road.
In front was a public exercise area, and further back was a gym that required payment. In the public area, many men and women in tight exercise clothes were sweating profusely. Some were punching sandbags continuously, or squatting, or using equipment.
Here, regardless of whether they were men or women, they seemed to have a strong body and obvious muscle lines. Most of them had a white towel hanging around their necks.
The atmosphere here was much better than that of the school's fighting club.
Continuing forward, the two came to a playground. A circle of people surrounded them, whispering and pointing at the playground.
"Coach Cosia." Milo was quick-eyed and quick-mouthed.
Phil also looked up in surprise.
On the playground, two figures were facing each other. The short-haired strong man on the left was Coach Kosia of the Fighting Club, and the one on the right was a tall black-haired young man wearing a beige fighting suit.
At this moment, the atmosphere between the two sides of the fight was solemn, and they were constantly changing their positions to adjust their own states. Kosia looked cautious, he took a deep breath, and his leg muscles were tense.
Coach Kosia is on!
A fierce straight punch came over!
One move! Two moves! Three moves!
Coach Kosia lost!
"Awesome! Have you learned fighting skills specifically?" Kosia covered his shoulder and endured the pain, his face trembling slightly.
"I guess so." The black-haired young man raised his hands and clasped his fists.
"Oh, no wonder."
Kosia also clasped his fists and sighed.
"So awesome! Milo, is this the coach? What's his name?" Phil patted his companion's shoulder excitedly.
"Levi, his name is Levi."
