Chapter 185: Battle of Glacier Destruction (Part 2)
The sun shines through the clouds, and the cold wind whimpers.
The frost-covered glacier flashes with a sharp light.
This is the Wahala Glacier, known as the "Ice Forbidden Land" by the world. It is also the area where the frost giants have survived for thousands of years, and it is also the place where the Everfrost Tribe has been stationed for generations.
The frost giants built a crude fortress on the Wahala Glacier and dug into the cold mountain.
They are cruel and destructive predators, taming huge tundra land dragons, centipede monsters, and frost insects. Thousands of years ago, at the peak of the Everfrost Tribe, they even tamed white dragons and used these real evil dragons as guards to guard the fortress.
But today, the Everfrost Tribe is about to face the most terrible disaster.
All the young warriors in the tribe took up their weapons and were ready for battle.
Some frost giant warriors even trembled with their hands because of nervousness. The expectations of countless people from generation to generation were on their shoulders. This will be a life-and-death battle that can determine the survival of their tribe.
"It will succeed."
"Chief Kasa has already fought with him, and this red dragon cannot be unscathed."
"The red dragon is probably seriously injured."
"We have nearly a hundred frost giant warriors here!"
The young frost giants encouraged each other. After seeing the magic image, they knew very well how dangerous this battle was, but they still hoped for a miracle.
Nur stood at the highest point of the Great Glacier, his eyes slightly narrowed, his expression calm, feeling the surge of the wind, and he looked like he was about to fall asleep.
Suddenly, the frost giant priest opened his eyes, and a gleam of light suddenly appeared in his light blue turbid pupils.
"It's time."
"He's coming."
The young and strong frost giant warriors who were waiting on the side waved their bone sticks, beat the war drums, and shouted loudly:
"Warriors of the Everfrost Tribe! Get ready!"
"The dragon is coming, we have to kill it!"
Hearing his words, with the sound of the drums, the frost giant warriors all looked up at the sky, praying that they could find the trace of the red dragon in advance.
However, they didn't know that Cassius never traveled in such an inefficient way.
- He preferred spells.
"Look!"
"What is that?"
The frost giants exclaimed.
The space in front of the glacier was rippled, gradually twisted, deformed, and folded. The flame portal that was incompatible with the surrounding cold air slowly opened and appeared on the big glacier, causing bursts of white mist to rise nearby.
First, the hideous head poked out from it, followed by the strong body, and finally the slender tail tip.
The red dragon finally landed on the Wahala Glacier.
"The coordinates provided by your people are very accurate."
Casius looked around at the frost giants who gathered around him with various weapons, and finally locked his eyes on the old frost giant priest.
Nur said hoarsely:
"You are finally here, the destined natural disaster."
"Oh?"
"Old frost giant, do you know me?"
The red dragon's golden pupils showed a trace of interest.
Nur tried to keep his tone calm and said in a deep voice: "Of course I know that this is the tempering given to us by the great father of the frost giants, Solem."
He looked at the red dragon with a firm light in his eyes.
"It is also an indispensable part of restoring the glory of the frost giants and reappearing the glory of the Everfrost Tribe."
Hearing this, a glimmer of hope rekindled in the eyes of the frost giant warriors. As warriors guarding the holy land, most of them are loyal believers of Solem. Their eyes looking at the red dragon are also full of hatred and fighting spirit. At this moment, after hearing that this red dragon is "the tempering of the gods", they are even more excited.
Casius's eyes suddenly became cold.
"Then did your shitty gods tell you--"
"The Everfrost Tribe is going to be exterminated?"
The red dragon flapped its wings and suddenly rose nearly a hundred meters high.
The leader of the frost giant warriors, Koch, also raised his weapon and shouted loudly: "Fight! This reptile can't scare our Everfrost warriors!"
"Lord Solem is watching us. The survival of the Everfrost Tribe for thousands of years is at this moment!"
The long horn sounded.
The frost giants kept throwing spears, stones and even ice cones at the red dragon in the sky.
Another elite archer pulled the nearly five-meter-long animal bone giant bow and shot a bowl-thick giant arrow straight to the heart of the red dragon.
For thousands of years, the frost giants who grew up in the Valhalla Glacier had hunted countless white dragons in this way, but these did not work for Cassius. The layers of shields and fragments surrounding his body that flashed with magic auras easily blocked it.
Cassius looked down at them and mocked them mercilessly.
"Is this your resistance?"
"It's ridiculous--"
The red dragon poured out raging flames from its mouth, and wherever it breathed, it turned into purgatory. The ice and snow melted rapidly under the high temperature, and rolling white fog filled the glacier.
The frost giant hunter blew the bone whistle.
A sharp voice sounded.
The glacier made a rumbling sound and trembled and dropped broken ice gravel.
The huge centipede-like beast rushed out from under the ice and snow in a cloud of steam. Its body was covered with frost, but the fire of purgatory surged in its body. The wing-like fins opened backwards on its head, and the serrated fangs on the edge of the huge mouth squirmed.
Cassius took a look and his expression did not change.
"The centipede monster..."
That was the centipede, one of the most terrifying hunters in the polar regions. They had magical organs that generated heat like furnaces in their bodies to resist the cold, and they had dual resistance to ice and fire.
Frost giant hunters looked for their eggs in the cold wasteland, tamed them from the time the larvae hatched, and used them to guard the cold castle.
And at this moment, they finally came in handy.
The ground shook violently, like an earthquake, and several huge cracks appeared on the ice. Eleven centipede beasts broke through the ice and attacked the red dragon, like giant pillars rising up. The scene was quite spectacular.
"Is this your confidence?"
"Only a dozen bugs?"
Cassius said indifferently, just flapping his wings suddenly.
The air kept making sudden noises, and dazzling thunders surrounded him and rushed to the bodies of those reckless centipede beasts. That was the body of the remnant of the storm!
The red dragon swung its claws fiercely, and a flashing claw-shaped force field suddenly appeared in the air not far away, splitting several centipede monsters in two with one blow.
In an instant, most of the centipede monsters that the frost giants had cultivated for a long time and consumed countless food were lost, and the remaining ones hurriedly drilled into the glacier and dared not show their heads again.
The frost giants were still attacking, but Cassius was too fast and flying in the air. Most of the stones, spears and even arrows missed, and even if they hit, they could not pierce the heavy defense.
This was still an extremely unequal battle. They were helpless on the ground, while the red dragon could spit out flames and burn the frost giants to tears.
