World of Warcraft: Reviving Stromgarde

Chapter 25 The Syndicate and the Stonefist Ogre

All the actions of the Syndicate were seen by the Assassin's League of Hillsbrad Foothills. Although the Syndicate was an assassin's organization, it was like a baby and an adult in front of the Assassin's League.

The members of the Assassin's League informed Duke Jorach Ravenholdt of the actions of the Syndicate a long time ago.

"Syndicate? Haha, it's just a group of declining nobles who can't recognize their current situation." Duke Jorach Ravenholdt first laughed at the Syndicate, then thought of the suddenly changed Prince Galen Trollbane, and said with a smile, "Garen Trollbane, I want to see how you will deal with the sneak attack of the Syndicate. If you can't even pass this level, how can you revive the Kingdom of Stormgard."

Duke Jorach Ravenholdt chose to stand aside and watch, neither stopping the Syndicate nor helping the Kingdom of Stormgard. He wanted to use the Syndicate to test Galen Trollbane's ability.

The Kingdom of Stromgard had not yet established an intelligence organization like SI:7, so it had not learned of the collusion between the nobles of Stromgarde and the Syndicate. Galen Trollbane was completely unaware of this and was directing the people of Stromgarde to move to the Refuge Valley.

Since the Kingdom of Stromgarde lacked a stalker organization and had average anti-submarine capabilities, and the Syndicate was mixed in with a large number of refugees who were receiving work-for-relief, Galen Trollbane could not detect it at all.

However, it was not only the Syndicate that had sneaked into Stromgarde, but also SI:7 in Stormwind.

Coincidentally, the stalkers of SI:7 in Stormwind and the stalkers of the Syndicate met in Stromgarde, and the stalkers on both sides mistakenly thought that the other side was a stalker from Stromgarde, and thus launched an attack directly.

The stalkers fought the fastest, but the fight between the two sides still attracted the attention of the Stromgarde militia guarding Stromgarde.

So the Syndicate and SI:7 chose to give up collecting the bodies of their compatriots and retreat temporarily.

"This is the Syndicate and MI7!" There were refugees from Alterac and former members of the Defias Brotherhood in Stromgarde, and they quickly identified their identities.

When Duke Falconrest, who had sneaked into Stromgarde, learned that they were exposed, he decisively lit the signal fireworks, then took out his weapons and started a riot in Stromgarde.

After the Stromgarde militia, who had just sneaked through the Wall of Thoradin, entered Arathi Highlands, Lord Aiden Perenolde saw the fireworks and instantly realized that he was exposed. He couldn't help cursing in his heart, but there was no way. He gathered all the members of the Syndicate who had sneaked into Arathi Highlands and joined forces with the Stonefist Ogres in Arathi Highlands to attack Stromgarde.

The Stonefist Ogres were rescued together when the new tribe liberated the shelter, but the Stonefist Ogres were not taken to Kalimdor together, but were left in Arathi Highlands.

Since most of the main forces of the new tribe went to the ancient continent of Kalimdor, leaving only 50,000 orcs in Hammerfall, the Stonefist Ogres broke away from the control of the tribe and became independent again.

Ogres can be said to be the epitome of stupidity. Except for some two-headed ogres, the intelligence of single-headed ogres is generally low, and they only think about eating.

Lord Aiden Perenold, the leader of the Syndicate, seized this point and promised that after the Stonefist Ogres and the Syndicate captured Stromgarde together, all the food in Stromgarde would be sent to the Stonefist Ogres, thus getting the help of the Stonefist Ogres.

The Syndicate and the Stonefist Ogres joined together, with a number of more than 60,000, which is more than the Stromgarde militia currently organized by the Kingdom of Stormgarde.

Marshal Oslet is currently at the Thoradin Wall, responsible for the 30,000 Stromgarde militia stationed at the Thoradin Wall and Durnholde Castle.

The commander of the 5,000 Stromgarde militia who stayed in Stromgarde was a female general, Amaren.

Due to the population and tough folk customs of the Kingdom of Stromgarde, there are a large number of female warriors in the Stromgarde militia, and Commander Amaren is the most famous one who has risen.

Facing the attacks of the 60,000 Syndicates and Stonefist Ogres outside Stromgarde, Commander Amaren did not panic at all. He commanded the 5,000 Stromgarde militia to close the gates of Stromgarde and began to defend the city walls of Stromgarde.

Although the ancient city of Stromgarde is small and the facilities are old, it is easy to defend and difficult to attack.

Because the old city of Stromgarde has only one main gate, and outside the main gate, a moat was dug, and there was only a narrow road for walking, which firmly limited the enemy's numerical advantage, so that the 5,000 Stromgarde militia faced fewer enemies than their number, which is why Galen Trollbane dared to leave 5,000 people to garrison Stromgarde.

Five thousand Stromgarde militia troops, under the command of Commander Amaron, defended the attacks of the Syndicate and Stonefist Ogres in an orderly manner.

Although the Syndicate and Stonefist Ogres have a ten-fold advantage in numbers, their quality is uneven.

Some elite members of the Syndicate were once regular troops of the Kingdom of Alterac, and most of the others were refugees who joined later.

Not to mention the Ogres, except for their natural size advantage, they can't be called an army at all. In the absence of a direct confrontation, the Stonefist Ogres, who have no organization at all, are just targets, and the threat is not as great as the Syndicate.

In addition, due to early exposure, the Syndicate members have not yet entered the Arathi Highlands. A considerable number of members are still in Hillsbrad, and there is no time to build siege facilities. Now they are completely using human lives.

Commander Amaron has absolute confidence that the 5,000 Stromgarde militia can resist the 60,000 Syndicate and the Stonefist Ogres for several days. During this period, Prince Galen Trollbane can even pull back the main force of the Stromgarde militia stationed at the Thoradin Wall.

However, Commander Amaron did not know that Duke Falkurest had already infiltrated the city of Stromgarde.

The Syndicate members of less than a thousand people launched a surprise attack from the 5,000 Stromgarde militia stationed at the main gate of Stromgarde.

Commander Amaron and the 5,000 Stromgarde militia were attracted by the 60,000 Syndicate and the Stonefist Ogres outside. They were attacked by the Syndicate of less than a thousand people and fell into a disadvantage.

In desperation, Commander Amaron had to temporarily leave the wall of the main gate of Stromgarde and organize a thousand Stromgarde militia to destroy the syndicate that had infiltrated Stromgarde.

The syndicate members who had infiltrated Stromgarde were all elite, but they were better at assassination and stealth. They were no match for the fierce Stromgarde militia in a head-on battle.

Without the protection of the shadow, the warriors almost crushed the stealth.
