Chapter 49 Before the Trojan War
"Achilles! Dear Achilles, wake up."
The voice that suddenly sounded in his ear awakened Luo Yin's consciousness from the darkness.
Although the voice did not call Luo Yin's name, Luo Yin still subconsciously opened his eyes.
A beautiful boy with golden hair immediately appeared in Luo Yin's sight and looked at Luo Yin with worried eyes.
After looking at Luo Yin's eyes, the blond boy smiled happily and said.
"Dear Achilles, you finally woke up. I thought you were suddenly sick."
"Are you calling me Achilles?"
Confirming that the blond boy in front of him was talking to him, Luo Yin immediately stood up and looked at himself.
Seeing that he was still wearing the sleeveless top and shorts woven with gold thread by Circe and Thetis, and his divine spear was leaning against the wall, Luo Yin breathed a sigh of relief and turned his head to look at where he was.
"I am in a tent made of animal skins. After killing Zeus and Orestes, I should return to the system space and accept the new task assigned by the system. Why did I come directly to this place and be called Achilles?"
Feeling that the light godhood in his body had been unlocked by two-sevenths, not only did his divine power double, but his body was also strengthened to an incredible degree, Luo Yin said in confusion.
"Have I returned to the system space and contacted the system, or is it like Thetis said that the so-called system does not exist at all?"
"Achilles, are you sick?"
Luo Yin treated him like a stranger and ignored him. The blond boy was like a wife ignored by her husband, and said with a lost expression.
"Do you still recognize who I am?"
"Patroclus?"
Luo Yin tentatively said the name, and the blond boy immediately said happily.
"It seems that I am overthinking. Are you in a bad mood because we have not been able to go to Troyen?"
"The system has arranged a new task for me to replace Achilles?"
After accepting that he has become Achilles, Luo Yin asked Patroclus.
"Patroclus, we haven't gone to Troyen yet?"
"Don't you remember?"
Patroclus looked at Luo Yin with a puzzled look.
"Our commander-in-chief Agamemnon offended the goddess of hunting Artemis while hunting, saying that his archery skills were better than the goddess of hunting, which led to the goddess's divine punishment on us. Now our ship cannot sail out of the port of Auris. In order to calm the anger of the goddess of hunting, the commander-in-chief Agamemnon has decided to accept the advice of the prophet Calchas and offer his eldest daughter Inphigenia as a sacrifice to the goddess of hunting."
"Patroclus! I don't want to rely on the favorable wind that Agamemnon sacrificed Inphigenia to go to Troyen. You must gather my men immediately and let them board the ship and prepare to set off."
Although Patroclus has the status of a royal family, he has no territory or subjects of his own. Now he is Achilles' deputy general as a childhood friend of Achilles.
In other words, Patroclus is Achilles' subordinate.
Hearing Luo Yin's order, although Patroclus was puzzled by Luo Yin's attitude of treating him as a subordinate, he still obediently left the tent to execute Luo Yin's order.
After Patroclus left, Luo Yin touched his clothes with his left hand and held the divine spear with his right hand and said.
"I remember when I killed Zeus, Zeus burst out all his thunder power and wanted to die with me. Not only am I still alive, but my body is not hurt at all. Is it because the light godhead has been unlocked by two-sevenths, which has improved my divine power and body, allowing me to resist Zeus' thunder? The clothes and divine spear on my body were obtained in the previous mission world. I was able to bring the clothes and divine spear here because this world is also a mission world?"
Luo Yin walked out of the tent with all kinds of doubts in his heart, and saw that the coast of Oris Port was covered with tents as dense as stars, and two thousand ships that could carry fifty sailors were anchored in the port.
"The 100,000 troops of the Greek coalition gathered in Oris Port. This scene is really spectacular."
The fact that Agamemnon could become the commander of this 100,000-strong army was proof that the King of Mycenae became the king of the Greek kings.
Unlike the last mythological era, Zeus in this period had power and prestige that surpassed all gods because of the prosperity of Mycenae.
Luo Yin was eager to go to Troyen because he could only rely on his own power to fight Zeus and other gods when he reached the coast of Troyen, far away from the Greek mainland.
"As long as we reach Troyen, the power and prestige of the Greek gods will weaken, and then I will be invincible."
Just as Luo Yin was about to walk to the port, a middle-aged woman with a face similar to Yin Feigenia and many maids behind her stood in front of Luo Yin and said with a smile.
"Achilles, where are you going? Are you going to my husband Agamemnon's tent after hearing the news of our arrival?"
"Clytemnestra... Queen..."
Looking at Clytemnestra who was full of enthusiasm for him, Luo Yin smiled bitterly with some helplessness.
After Agamemnon decided to sacrifice Inphigenia, in order to trick Inphigenia into coming over to him, Agamemnon wrote a letter to Clytemnestra, saying that he wanted to marry Inphigenia to the young and powerful demigod Achilles.
Clytemnestra treated Luo Yin so warmly, obviously treating Luo Yin as a son-in-law that satisfied her.
"Achilles!"
Clytemnestra walked to Luo Yin enthusiastically, grabbed Luo Yin's right arm and said.
"Do you remember? When you proposed to Helen in Sparta, my daughter Inphigenia met you. She had a good impression of you at that time. Now that she knows that she can become your wife, Inphigenia is very happy. Happy, come to the port of Auris with me. Now you come with me to Agamemnon’s tent to meet your future wife!”
"Queen, please let me go."
Luo Yin forcibly retracted his right arm, took two steps back and said.
"Poor Queen Clytemnestra, now I must expose Agamemnon's lies to you. I did not ask Agamemnon to marry your daughter Imphogenea, and Agamemnon did not say that I would. Marry Inphigenia to me. Agamemnon used lies to trick you and Inphigenia into coming to the port of Auris because Agamemnon offended Artemis, the goddess of hunting, and must sacrifice Inphigenia to the goddess of hunting. Only then can I be forgiven by the goddess of hunting.”
After hearing what Luo Yin said, Clytemnestra looked at Luo Yin with shock and suspicion as if she was struck by a bolt from the blue.
After all, as a virtuous wife, she should trust her husband Agamemnon more than an outsider like Luo Yin.
Luo Yin was not interested in explaining more. Seeing that Clytemnestra had no intention of stopping him, he walked around Clytemnestra towards the port.
After Luo Yin left, an old servant who was loyal to Agamemnon came to Clytemnestra and told the mistress the truth.
