Happy New Year to Everyone

It is 2025 in the blink of an eye. I vaguely remember that when I was a child, many movies and novels seemed to describe this year, or a similar time, as extremely sci-fi.

Colonizing Mars and breaking out of the solar system, or fighting aliens.

Now looking at the reality, human beings seem to be a little bit weak in the past two or three decades. They don’t have the spirit after the end of World War II. Of course, the main responsibility lies with the West. We are still quite strong in Seres.

It is another year of peace and prosperity. Although I usually complain about various social problems.

But when I open the international news and cry because of the children who suffered from the war, I secretly feel lucky that I don’t have to really go through such suffering.

I will just say a few words about whatever comes to mind. The main thing is to congratulate everyone for being one year older and gaining a whole year of joys and sorrows.

I wish my book friends good health and family happiness. I won’t say anything about congratulations on getting rich. It doesn’t matter whether your wallet is bulging or not. The most important thing for a person is of course to be happy!

PS, I would also like to thank several book friends for sending me year-end red envelopes. They are so kind that I feel embarrassed.
