Chapter 1 Sun Jack
There were low footsteps in the darkness. When the footsteps slowly stopped, a bright light suddenly broke through the darkness. The source of the light was a mobile phone.
The light of the mobile phone illuminated a rather handsome face. He looked tired and haggard, and seemed to be in a bad mood.
"The fourth video begins, the time is 3:51 pm." Jack Sun started the screen recording.
"I still haven't found the exit. Everything here is surrounded by metal, even the floor and ceiling." Jack Sun reached out and touched the wall next to him, feeling the special touch with his fingers on it. Cold, smooth, hard.
Then he turned on the flash of his mobile phone towards the metal wall, trying to capture as much of the silvery gray of the metal wall as possible.
"These metal corridors are square in shape and connected to each other to form a huge metal maze. There are metal walls and many metal doors. Most of them cannot be opened. I crawled out of the freezer in one of the rooms."
"I don't know where this is. I've never seen this kind of place before, and I haven't even found it on the Internet. I haven't found any information here."
"I don't know how I was sent here. My memory is broken. My memory is stuck in the summer after I finished the college entrance examination."
"My previous memories, the rhubarb I raised at home, my parents, every game I played, I remember these things clearly, but after that, everything is gone."
"Something must have happened later, so I was stuffed into the freezer and sent to this place, but I can't remember exactly what happened!" When Jack Sun said this, his tone became anxious. After taking a breath, he continued,
"The time of the mobile phone in my pocket is 2030. If this time is real, it means that I may have lost five years of memory."
"What happened in the past five years, and where am I?"
At this moment, there was a beeping sound, and a prompt was displayed on the screen of the mobile phone, "The battery is too low and the flash cannot be used."
Jack Sun knew that he couldn't waste any more time. No matter what happened before, he had to escape from here first. If he was trapped and died here, everything that happened before would be meaningless.
Jack Sun pursed his lips, braced himself and continued talking to the phone: "Didn't I just say that there are some metal doors on the metal walls? The strange thing is that some doors are not just hung on the walls, but also on the ceilings and floors. There are doors, and in one of the doors, I heard some movement, some unusual movement, I will go and take a look."
As he said this, he touched the cold metal wall and moved toward the left. After a minute, he stopped and raised his head, raising his phone and pointing it at the dark door above his head.
"Can you hear it? There is a sound from the door on the ceiling. It is a very small beeping sound. It sounds like it is coming from a very far away place."
"The battery of the mobile phone is low. I'll go inside first." As he said this, Jack Sun exited the video recording mode.
After roughly estimating the height, Jack Sun slowly took a few steps back, jumped with all his strength, and hooked four fingers tightly on the edge of the door frame.
Finally, Jack Sun exhausted all his strength and finally climbed into the door using his hands and feet.
When he stepped on the door frame, raised his head and neck, and shined the light of his mobile phone into the room, he found that it was filled with various high-precision mechanical equipment that he could not understand, and many of the shells had fallen off.
Weird-looking mechanical arms were like branches, extending from the left and right walls, like a metal forest. At the end of the upper mechanical arm, another new door appeared directly above Sun Jack's head. The dripping sound came from the deepest place. Coming from everywhere.
"Why is this broken place so weird? Where is this?" Jack Sun stepped on the mechanical arm and climbed upwards cautiously.
And when Jack Sun climbed into the door, he finally found the source of the small beeping sound. It was a small red dot, which flickered on and off with the beeping sound, like a standby computer prompt signal.
When Jack Sun used his mobile phone's flashlight to illuminate the surroundings of the red dot, he discovered that the place was actually an arc-shaped vaulted room with nothing else but a few chairs.
Jack Sun turned on the video mode again and aimed at the red dot. "Look, this red dot seems to be a screen. Everything that happens next will be recorded on my phone. If I lose my memory again for some unknown reason, these records will be my -"
As soon as Sun Jack said this, the screen of his slightly hot mobile phone suddenly went black, and then his mobile phone brand logo popped up, "It actually ran out of battery at the critical moment! Damn it! What a broken phone!"
Extremely irritated, Sun Jack stuffed his phone into the pocket of his left trouser leg, looked at the red dot in front of him and took a deep breath. He knew he had no choice.
He is now afraid that something bad will happen if he touches the red dot, but he is also afraid that nothing will happen if he touches it.
Because this is his only choice. He has already searched all other places. If there is no response from this red dot, he will be completely trapped in this metal maze.
After closing his eyes to calm down for a while, Jack Sun held his breath and stretched out his finger to poke at the red dot.
When he saw the red dot extinguished and completely integrated with the surrounding darkness, Jack Sun's heartbeat almost stopped.
But soon everything around him began to tremble, and some kind of resonant hum came from under his feet.
The sudden changes around him made Sun Jack extremely nervous. He kept staring at the dark surroundings, nervously watching any possible changes.
However, there was no change around him. The first to change was himself. As the red button was pressed, his feet gradually left the ground, and finally he flew directly into the air!
This strange change shocked Sun Jack. What kind of world was he in? "I can fly? I can fly? Magic? Special abilities?"
But before Sun Jack could be happy, accompanied by some muffled sound, a crack suddenly appeared in the wall of the arched room where Sun Jack was, and extremely dazzling light shot in from the crack inside, illuminating everything in the room.
When Sun Jack, who squinted his eyes, barely adapted to the strong light, he saw the arched wall sliding back left and right with the crack as the center.
And when the wall was completely opened, a huge planet occupied his entire sight.
Sun Jack felt his heart beating violently, his throat seemed to be tightened, and every breath made him feel suffocated.
Planet, this very common concept, can only be felt when it really appears in front of you.
The light of the star illuminates one side of the planet, while the other side, which is hidden in the darkness, is like a huge mouth of the abyss, making Sun Jack feel trembling as if he is being stared at by a giant beast in the sky.
Sun Jack suddenly remembered something, he looked down at his floating feet, and then looked up at the huge planet outside the glass.
"Oh my god! I have been in outer space all the time?!"
