Chapter 62 Preparation
After Herage finished his meditation, he went downstairs and took a hot bath. His whole body had a strong medicinal smell.
Northern forest area.
After Herage went out, he obviously felt that the atmosphere was different from usual. The faces of the wizards coming and going were a little solemn.
He also saw that many people were injured.
When passing by the flea market, Herage found that it was quite deserted.
"At this time, transactions should be more frequent. It seems that many people have accepted the mission and escaped from Moonlight Grove."
Herage had been concentrating on preparing for promotion during this period and paid less attention to the movements in the forest.
When he arrived in town, he found that the flow of people was significantly less than usual.
There were only twos and threes of people in the originally lively gathering place, and these people all had sad faces. It seemed that they had not found a way to avoid the limelight.
There are probably no missions that allow you to go out to the forest. Even if there are, they will be snatched up immediately. Those missions are simply not enough.
Herage quickened his pace after seeing these scenes. He felt that he needed to leave here as soon as possible. Otherwise, even with Teacher Larry's help, he might not be able to get out. After all, many things are very fragile in the face of the wheel of war.
"Teacher! I was successfully promoted." Herage reported his situation.
Larry poured him a cup of coffee, as usual, and then poured himself a cup.
"Add the sugar yourself." Larry pushed his hand through the air, and the coffee floated in front of Herage.
"Your mental power is very stable and your magic power is of high quality, so I conclude that there will be no problem in your promotion to a second-class wizard apprentice. This doesn't surprise me."
Larry then said with a solemn expression: "Now let's get down to business. You should pack up and prepare to leave in the next two days. That lunatic Malcolm actually arrested a hundred pregnant women. He must be planning to use some evil and powerful spell."
"Moonlight Glade has already raised this matter with Augustus College. Malcolm's behavior seriously violated the basic rules of the Karrag continent wizard organization, which is not allowed to massacre a large number of ordinary people."
Herrag asked: "If Malcolm really slaughtered these one hundred ordinary people, what punishment would he receive?"
"Well, it's just some profit punishment." Larry sighed.
This is the case with official wizards, especially powerful official wizards. It is difficult for the rules to bind them.
Ordinary people in Karag Continent are an important source of fresh blood for major wizarding organizations. The lives of wizards actually require the means of production produced by ordinary people, so there have always been regulations that do not allow the mass murder of ordinary people.
Malcolm's behavior was just enough to attract the attention of various wizarding organizations, but it was not enough to really need to take action to stop him.
This allows Malcolm to only be punished with some financial benefits.
Larry continued: "According to my guess, when Malcolm's spell took shape, it was when Moonlight Glade and Green Lodge went into full-scale war."
"So, you need to get out of here as soon as possible."
Herage nodded: "I understand, but where should I go?"
This is a question that Herague has been thinking about these days. The Caraage continent is so big, which place should he go to?
"I suggest you go to the Kingdom of Doris on the west coast. The government there is stable and far away from the major wizarding organizations. You can spend this period of time relatively smoothly. The only drawback is that there are relatively few potion materials. But this is the same outside. Places with plenty of potion materials are not far from wizard organizations.”
"And the task I give you is to go to the Kingdom of Doris to find a potion material called moonstone grass."
Larry took out a map and pointed at a huge country on the west coast.
"I remember that you have a space ring, right? I have prepared a batch of potion materials for you, which will be enough for you to use for a while. If you lack any basic potions, you can use these potion materials to refine them yourself and practice your skills. ." Larry turned and walked to the room on the side and opened the door.
He waved to Herage: "Come and take a look."
Herage followed and came to the door to take a look: "So many!"
The room is full of potion materials, neatly arranged in categories.
"They are all potion materials for some basic types of potions, and they are not valuable. I felt that there might be a war before, so I ordered a lot of potion materials in advance. Now many potion materials in the potion store in Moonlight Grove are sold in limited quantities. ." Larry introduced.
Herague nodded. If a war breaks out, potion materials must be distributed and managed by the Moonlight Grove official. The amount that the wizard apprentices can buy is probably not enough for their own use.
"Thank you, teacher!" Herage bowed down solemnly to salute and thank him. This gift seemed simple to Larry, but it was worth countless magic stones. It was considered a generous gift.
Larry smiled and said: "This is nothing. Okay, use your space ring to put it away. Go back and clean it up. Come to me when you are ready and I will take you out."
Herage smiled when he heard this. He was brought back by Larry, and now he has to be taken out by him to avoid the war, forming a cycle.
"Teacher, I'll go back first."
After Herrag came out of Larry's house, he didn't walk long when he suddenly met Bessie on the street. She seemed to be looking for Larry.
"Bessie?" Herrag greeted.
Bessie looked a little flustered, looked at Herage with some dodge, lowered her head and said: "Herage..."
"Congratulations on your promotion to the third-class wizard apprentice!" Herag congratulated.
He had heard that Bessie had been promoted successfully before, but he had never met her and had only sent a message on the rune stone.
"Thank you." Bessie seemed to be worried and continued to walk with her head down without saying much.
Herag recalled Bessie's appearance and always felt that something was wrong.
He thought for a while and suddenly realized what was wrong: "Why is Bessie dressed so sexy?"
Bessie was wearing a pair of suspender black stockings. Her legs were originally long, and she was even more charming in them.
More importantly, when Herag passed by her, he noticed that Bessie was only wearing a small XX under her robe.
During the time he and Bessie knew each other, Bessie had always dressed very conservatively, wearing long trousers, and had never worn such sexy clothes.
Herag felt that there seemed to be some gossip, shook his head and continued on his way, anyway, it had nothing to do with him.
After purchasing some things that were not easy to buy outside, he returned home and began to count the things he wanted to bring.
There were a lot of potion materials piled up in the space ring, and there were not many large items that could be brought, so he just took those spell model books.
After finishing his work, Herag picked up the quill and wrote a letter to Lillian, telling her that he would be leaving Moonlight Glade for a while and that he would not be able to contact her in the short term.
"I don't know if it can still be sent out." Herag felt that the letter should still be able to be sent out now. Moonlight Glade only had entry and exit control, and people with legitimate reasons could still go out, and the letter should still be in a normal transmission state.
