Chapter 69: A Glimpse of the Light From the Comments on the Listing
Chapter 69: Remarks on the Bookshelf - A Glimpse of Light in the Hole
Save Traffic: Tomorrow, there will be an update of more than 10,000 words, and it will be on the shelves at 12 noon!
Then as usual - those who are not in a hurry to leave, let's sit down and chat together.
I think... reading a new book is like a glimpse of light in a hole.
In the dark snowy night, the reader approaches a house with lights on and paper on the windows.
Although the brightness of different houses can be roughly seen, the structure inside is unknown, let alone what the owner is doing.
Only when you peek into it through the hole in the wall can you see the furnishings in the house; carefully turn your head, look through the narrow hole, and take advantage of the dim light in the room to see the layout of the room, so that you can see what kind of family this is and why the house is lit.
When you see it clearly and feel relieved, you will knock on the door and push it open. Share this rare light in the snowy night.
This light comes from the bottom of my heart and is shared with all those who are willing to share it with me.
It is not a blazing light, not like the sun that can illuminate everyone; nor is it like the shadowless lamp in the operating room that can illuminate the darkness.
It is just a lantern, a candle, a light bulb, the weak light I can emit. But it is enough to illuminate this small room.
I hope you can see me through this light.
Reporting the results: Now the follow-up reading of Mu Xu has exceeded 10,000.
This is undoubtedly my highest-performing book in history.
Although my creative achievements are not bad, I wrote five novels on the shelves before Mu Xu, accumulated more than 9 million words in the completed book, and had three books with 10,000 subscriptions and one boutique... But none of these three books with 10,000 subscriptions have the first boutique.
None.
The results are all based on the subsequent stable plot, which is slowly polished. And this book is the highest result in my history since I created it.
It even makes me a little panic. I don’t know if I can maintain this hard-won achievement.
But at the same time, I am also proud.
Because I always adhere to the principle of "I don’t know the development of the plot principle, and I won’t write it even if it is interesting." Sudden success without knowing the reason will only destroy my worldview. Therefore, I only write about the plots that I understand, comprehend, and can reproduce.
And in the previous book, the skills I honed were indeed useful!
Although some authors will say that they are practicing after their failures, I have already told everyone before the book "Toppled Tower" that I would write a book specifically for practicing writing... Mainly because when I was writing about players, I felt that I was lacking in many areas and could not write in many fields.
But at that time, "Player Super Justice" was being serialized and the performance was quite good. I didn't dare to play any tricks for fear of ruining the book. Therefore, even if I had any new ideas, I didn't dare to practice.
I firmly believe in one truth: if people don't practice, they will never learn; just as if people don't experience, they won't understand.
So I recorded all the plots that I wanted to write but didn't dare to write, and I was not sure whether the effect would be good or not, and practiced them in "Toppled Tower".
In order to eliminate interference, I also specially chose the subject matter that I am not good at. It is to simply see the readers' reactions and evaluations on different plots, character creation and writing methods, and then make corrections.
Just like when you play a game and play face-sculpting, you have to make a buzz cut or bald first!
The reason why I chose science fiction among many themes is my love for science fiction.
——You can love it even if you are not good at it!
I call it "compromised idealism".
While holding a dream, I still pay attention to improvement and benefits.
Just like in the game, try to maintain strength while taking into account coolness and beauty - not a pure appearance party, nor a pure strength party.
When I first wrote Mercury Blood, it was all instinct, without any outline or plan. There were many regrets of "If I had done this at the time". I also recorded them all, with the firm idea of "I will come back to find a place one day".
I found it once when I was a player, and wrote in a way that was as consistent as possible with the public's aesthetics.
And the performance of the player was ten times that of Mercury Blood.
But as the player wrote, he also had new regrets. So this book was optimized again, and the performance was improved to four times that of the player.
——As long as people insist on "effective learning" and repeatedly criticize themselves, they will really improve!
...Of course, my health is getting worse.
Now my schedule has changed to sleeping at 10:30 am and getting up at 5:30 pm. I write for eight hours every day, and I feel like I'm about to ascend.
The length of this book in the outline is enough to write for two years, more than three million words.
I hope people don't worry.
After this book is finished, I will take a break for at least half a year and at most a year. I have already booked a friend's villa in Wuzhi Mountain, Hainan, and then I will go to Wuzhi Mountain to be a monkey to recuperate.
This more than one month of rest is not enough. Although the outline, settings and inspiration were almost determined in October last year, half of the rest time was spent on recuperating.
Clap your hands, and then it's time to thank you--
First of all, thank you friends for recommending chapters, and I will treat you to dinner when we meet again!
Secondly, thank my editor Canaan! Before this book was published, Canaan checked the settings and outline with me for a long time, which was a great help!
Also, I would like to thank my invincible operations officer and artist, [There is no food in the jar]!
Can Can is invincible——Look at this book, and the cover of the previous book, Overturned Tower, all of which were drawn by Can Can! Even the character design of this book, and the design of various peripherals of this book are all hand-made by her!
What kind of fairy operation officer is this, do you have one (loudly)
She opened a lottery in the book review area, giving away some peripherals made by Can Can for free! Although the author cannot sell peripherals, if you don’t want money, you can give them away for free!
——Of course, I will pay for the postage! You will go and have a look later!
Next, thank you readers for your rewards!
Thanks to the rich loli Tian Ze Lu for feeding the silver alliance!
Since Ze Ze and I met in Mercury Blood, Ze Ze basically feeds one to three alliance leaders every month. In the neighboring cat guest, Ze Ze has accumulated three silver alliances, and the players Super Justice and Overturned Tower have both beaten a gold alliance, and the tower has several additional silver alliances...
I am really grateful to the beautiful girl Tian Ze, I feel like I am being kept.
Thanks to Yintian Shenyin, Li Tian X, and Mood? ? Complex, Ying Niyan, Cosmic Pigeon, Tchaikovsky Tarkovich, Mufengzhige, Vera 0205, Gu Xinxuan, and Saeki Gayako fed the leader!
Thanks to Cangjing Menghai, Dian Sijizi, and Yaodu Tingri for feeding the leader!
Thank you all for your rewards, votes, and subscriptions!
There has never been such a wonderful start (Xiaoquanshi clenched his fist)... This sentence doesn't seem auspicious, so forget it.
Someone asked me before, can you really stick to studying for two hours a day? Or, how do you ensure that you can stick to studying every day?
The answer is also very simple. And as soon as I say it, you will immediately know the feasibility of this method-it's just that probably not everyone can use it.
In short, after I start working (that is, typing) every day, I will immediately put down my work and read books.
My strong desire not to work and my obsession with escaping from work will push me to read as many books as possible to kill time. At this time, I escape into a space without work troubles, and I will become very free and my learning efficiency is extremely high.
It's like flipping through the textbook to check the answer when doing homework. But the strong desire not to do homework will push you to read the textbook more and flip through the textbook carefully... Things that you would never read at ordinary times will become very sweet under this impulse of escaping reality.
——When I was doing homework in school, I could even hold the medicine bottle on the table for a long time to avoid doing homework, not to mention extracurricular reading!
Facts have proved that people dare to do anything to slack off. They can do anything.
The inspiration of this book comes from a large number of books and a large number of games-cats only do two things at home, that is, either reading books or playing games.
I can't count how many game settings are sewn into my book, but it should be a lot. My friend Yintian and I are different in nature. He is happy to write books and writing is something he loves to do; but for me, writing is just a job that I am very comfortable with. My ultimate goal is still reading books and playing games... and writing books is a by-product of the overflow of inspiration after reading a lot of books and playing games.
In short, if you are familiar with it, it is a tribute! Thanks to all the games I love, including Granblue Fantasy, Final Fantasy, Pathfinder: Wrath of Justice, Cult Simulator, etc., which have provided me with inspiration!
Finally, I will share the list of books. Some people have asked me several times before.
I originally wanted to wait for a suitable time to release them all at once - but I was too busy during the Chinese New Year and forgot to post them!
If you are not interested in this, you can skip it. The following part is basically irrelevant to this book. It is a knowledge sharing link~
The following books have been read since the serialization of "Player Super Justice" in 2019 until now. I have read them, read them twice or more, and some of them have been read but not finished for the first time. It is a four-year library!
Looking at these books, you can probably know the author's personal preferences.
I think this is also a means to enhance mutual understanding.
This is not just to share my favorite books with readers who like this book, but also to share the available creative materials and sources of materials with author friends. If nothing unexpected happens, these books should all be available for purchase, but I am not recommending books. After all, everyone is good at different themes, and the books I read are actually quite diverse.
Of course, in order to avoid suspicion of taking the opportunity to promote books, I have not included the online novels I usually read.
The books here are all equal, and I am not promoting books, just the books I have read. I only give a brief evaluation of the books I have read repeatedly, and I do not count the books I have read before but have not read in recent years. I will treat the books that are too stupid as if I have read them, probably because they are cached in my mind and deleted. As for the rest, I will add the titles as long as I remember them, and there may be omissions.

Finally, I recommend a public account called "Literary Theory and Criticism", where I can occasionally find good books.
Although it seems that not many readers will read this far. But as usual, I still have to end with that sentence...
Hope we can meet again tomorrow.
——May you always be happy.
