Chapter 935: Brain and Body
"We already have the small bench No. 1. On the basis of the small bench, we can simplify a skeleton, which is impossible? If this is impossible, hahahaha..."
Lu Rongrong was blushed by Chen Haocong's laughter, and was about to hit him with her fists.
He Cunping held him back, and said, "Rongrong, I think Cong Cong is right."
"Even if it's true, I'm still very upset with his tone, hit him!"
"That's right, this tone makes me very upset too! Hit him!"
Lu Rongrong and He Cunping beat Chen Haocong two on one, and then walked away.
Chen Haocong finally struggled, and with dark circles under his eyes, he cried and asked Wang Shihao, who was watching the fun, "Brother Hao, why is it the same, Uncle Ming won't be beaten when he speaks, but I will be beaten when I say it?"
Wang Shihao thought about it carefully, and said, "Maybe it's because when your Uncle Ming said this, he brought bodyguards with him?"
Chen Haocong was dumbfounded, thinking about Zhao Xiaopang who was standing next to Nan Ming at that time, he felt that it was so reasonable and he couldn't refute it at all.
"Next time I pretend to be aggressive, I must remember to bring a bodyguard." Chen Haocong took out a small notebook and wrote down this sentence.
This is a lesson like blood and tears!
In the past, Chen Haocong never used such low-end things as "small notebooks".
But now, his pu leather notebook, which he bought from the gate of Zhaoxian Primary School for less than five yuan, has written countless thoughts densely anyway.
He found that sometimes, writing down his inspiration at the first time would play an unexpected role. There were several design problems before, which were completely combined from his ideas.
After writing down this sentence, he flipped through the book, ran to drag Liu Tianyun and said, "Brother Tianyun, what did you just say? Let's continue."
Liu Tianyun looked at Chen Haocong's dark circles, seeing that he didn't care, he couldn't help shaking his head, a brat is a brat.
It's just a punch, it really doesn't matter, and said: "I just talked about high-end aerospace-grade FPGAs. Now that we have engines, we will use the engine design of the Silence... I will try to draw the early design drawings, but I'm afraid There is no suitable FPGA yet, and we have to find a way to simplify the engine."
The so-called FPGA is "Field Programmable Gate Array".
To put it more simply, it is the brain of the rocket.
So far, they have confirmed the mechanical design of the engine, using the rocket engine that Chen Haocong picked up from the Silence.
The engine of the Silence is actually a nuclear fusion rocket engine. Burning metal hydrogen is only its auxiliary function. In addition, it has two auxiliary propulsion methods: nuclear fusion heating air and magnetic field spraying ionized air to deal with more complex environments. For example, taking off from underwater, at a very high altitude, or if a certain mode of operation fails.
At the beginning, Feng Tianyou said that the engine of the Silence was very simple, but in fact, it is simply complicated and extremely powerful, okay?
At the beginning of the design of the Silence, Nan Ming and others had already left a margin in the design, which made Chen Haocong see his own shortcomings and sighed for a long time.
But the result of the high-end engine of the Silence is that the simplified castrated version is also too complicated. If you want to control such a complex engine, the existing FPGA is simply not competent.
Aerospace-grade FPGAs are much more demanding than those for civilian use.
It must operate normally under ultra-high temperature, ultra-low temperature, high pressure, low pressure, ultra-high speed, and ultra-high acceleration. It also has to monitor various data of the rocket in real time, communicate with the ground, etc...
Its reliability requirements are too high.
Aerospace electronic components are my eternal pain in the aerospace industry.
Internationally, the most high-end aerospace-grade PFGAs come from the United States.
The field programmable logic gate array giants, companies such as ACTEL (Aite), ALTERA (Altera), XILINX (Xilinx) and Lattice (Lattice), all belong to the United States without exception. …that’s what America is about.
In my rabbit's aerospace component recommendation manual, the recommended high-end aerospace-grade FPGA is ACTEL's APA1000, but this is only a product of ACTEL around 2000, that is, more than ten years ago. In the past ten years, the capacity and speed of FPGA have undergone earth-shaking changes, and the performance has soared.
Without the support of this high-performance chip, it would be impossible to have Ma Yilong's recyclable rocket from spaceX. Ma Yilong's Falcon rocket can automatically land vertically to a designated location after lift-off, and recover automatically—although the success rate is not high.
However, the export of these high-end aerospace FPGAs capable of such complex operations is completely prohibited, and they cannot be bought at all.
Although my rabbit has made great achievements in aerospace and space exploration in recent years, in the field of aerospace electronics, it has always been picking up the bread crumbs of Americans.
Whenever I think of my homeland, I have to follow behind the Yankee with his head upright, bow his body humblely, and call: "Master, have pity on me, give me a bite of bread crumbs." It was humiliating and heartbreaking.
Chen Haocong didn't understand the pain involved, nor could he understand the feelings of Liu Tianyun and Mr. Wu. He said: "Simplification is not necessarily a step backward. The simpler the more reliable, this is what Uncle Ming taught me."
As the engine of the "body", the simpler and more reliable it is.
As the "brain" FPGA, the more powerful and efficient it is, the more reliable it is.
A small horse-drawn cart is easy to drag, but a large horse-drawn cart is sure enough.
No one in this world can conquer the whole world, and Nan Ming’s strengthening ability is not omnipotent. You can’t point out where to hit it, and often you will strengthen completely useless technologies, otherwise the database will not be full of all kinds of wonderful technologies now. Mech God Soldiers have this kind of technology.
At the same time, there will be a large gap where it is needed. These gaps may only be needed for a very small part, and it is not worth strengthening. You can only study it yourself to make up for the shortcomings.
"When Uncle Ming and the others designed the Silence, there were many technical problems that could not be solved. If it was Uncle Ming, what would they do?"
Chen Haocong substituting himself into the role of Nanming unconsciously.
For example, let the Silence fly. At first, the weight and resistance of the Silence were still too large to take off by gliding on the water surface, so Nan Ming and the others used a smarter and simpler method to bypass this stage, that is, the huge artificial Spider silk airbag.
Using air buoyancy, the Silence was pulled up from the water, and after accelerating to a sufficient speed, the airbag was discarded and changed to aerodynamic flight.
Even so, it still created the legend of the first epic journey. Is this a stain on the lazy god system?
Of course not!
Later, when the second epic journey was about to take place, the Silence finally made up for this shortcoming and could glide directly on the water to take off.
Improving the FPGA is completely clueless, and Chen Haocong plans to start by simplifying the engine.
The rocket engine of the Silence burns metal hydrogen. If it is in the atmosphere, it only needs to react with the air, but if it flies outside the atmosphere, it needs to add liquid oxygen...
Metallic hydrogen... liquid oxygen? etc!
An idea suddenly flashed in Chen Haocong's mind. (To be continued.)
