Chapter 9: The Great God Introduces His Arms (9)
When his eyes met hers, Ji Yi's heart thumped, and his hands clenched into fists subconsciously.
This seemed to be the first time since she met him again tonight, his eyes were indifferent and cold, as if he and her had never met before.
Ji Yi didn't look away because he was dazed, and He Jichen didn't look away because of some unknown reason.
The two of them just looked at each other through the dense rain.
Just when a gust of wind blew, the frozen Ji Yi shivered all over.
He Jichen, who happened to catch this scene in his eyes, frowned lightly, as if awakened by her actions, stared into her eyes for less than two seconds, then averted his eyes casually.
Without his gaze, Ji Yi relaxed a lot. She propped herself on the ground and was about to get up when He Jichen suddenly looked at her again.
Ji Yi's movements froze when she got up, and seeing that He Jichen didn't intend to look away, she quickly glanced at where he was standing, and saw that he was staring at her arm.
Ji Yi subconsciously lowered her head and looked over, only to find that her arm was bruised when she just fell down, and there were streaks of blood continuously oozing out, but it was quickly washed away by the rain.
Even though Ji Yi didn't look at He Jichen again, she could still feel that He Jichen's gaze was on her arm.
Ji Yi didn't know why He Jichen stared at her wound, or rather, she never thought about why He Jichen stared at her wound. She just felt that it was unnatural for He Jichen to stare at her. She shrank her arms back, then secretly raised her eyelids, and floated in the direction of He Jichen's station.
The man had already withdrawn his gaze, lowered his eyes slightly, held his umbrella indifferently, and stood in the rain without knowing what he was thinking.
Ji Yi didn't waste too much time on He Jichen's body, but stood up from the ground enduring the pain in his arm.
She was also injured on her knee, although it was not serious, but under the washing of the rain, the pain was extremely severe, she couldn't hold back for a while, and let out a slight cry of pain.
Probably because He Jichen was standing next to him, Ji Yi instinctively glanced at He Jichen again, the man heard her cry of pain, and glanced at her again.
Really just glanced at it.
His gaze stayed on her for a total of less than a second before he took it back. Not to mention his expression, he didn't even move his eyelids, as if the girl shivering in the heavy rain didn't exist at all. Turning around, holding an umbrella, he walked away at a leisurely pace.
He Jichen's figure disappeared into the heavy rain for a long time before Ji Yi blinked lightly, regained his senses, and walked towards the door of the dormitory with a little staggering steps.
...
Back in the dormitory, the three roommates had already washed up and went to bed to do their own business.
Mint was putting on a facial mask, Tang Huahua was playing Glory of Kings, and Lin Ya, who was applying skin care products, turned on her mobile phone and played it outside, not knowing who she was calling.
Mint was the first to see Ji Yi coming in, she was taken aback for a moment, then sat up from the bed: "Xiao Yi, why are you so wet and dirty?"
"It's okay." Ji Yi bent her lips, gave Mint a smile, took a bath towel and a change of clothes, and walked towards the bathroom.
"You still have an arm, why is it injured?" Bo He got off the bed and chased after Ji Yi.
