Chapter 2293 Raining

Another year passed, and the wife let go of the hurt caused by her husband's betrayal and stood up again.

She used the proceeds from the divorce to open a store. Her life was stable and plain. She only occasionally thought of the clerk who had accompanied her for a month. Although he lived next door to her yard, they rarely met in the past year.

In the fourth month after her new store opened, it rained heavily that day. In fact, it rarely rained in the west, so people had no habit of holding umbrellas.

She was walking in the middle of the road, and suddenly the rain stopped on her head. She felt someone beside her, who was very tall.

She looked up and saw that it was the clerk.

"It's raining, the umbrella is for you." The clerk took her hand and put the umbrella in her hand.

She didn't know why, but she cried at that moment.

The clerk handed over the umbrella and was about to leave, but when he saw her sudden emotion, he was so scared that he froze in place, at a loss.

"What are you doing? Why do you always go out early and come back late? Where do you eat three meals a day? Why do you only go back to sleep?" She asked the clerk.

"I, I'm busy with business. Because I'm busy, I go out early and come back late. As for three meals a day, I eat when I'm hungry, and forget about it when I'm not hungry." The waiter scratched his head honestly, and then said, "Because I'm afraid it's dangerous for you to live alone. It's okay during the day, but I'm worried at night, so I go back to sleep every night. No matter how busy I am, I will go back to rest."

She was stunned, and then cried even harder, and the speed of her tears falling could be compared to the speed of raindrops falling.

The waiter raised his hand and wanted to wipe her tears, but he didn't dare, but he felt distressed.

She returned the umbrella to him, and then rushed into the rain and ran home.

How could the waiter let her get wet in the rain, so he chased her and hugged her.

She struggled, but she was petite and couldn't struggle at all.

That day, in the waiter's arms, she cried out all the pain that had accumulated in her heart since her husband betrayed her. She was tired of crying and fainted directly.

The waiter carried her back.

When she woke up the next day, there were pastries and green leafy vegetables that she had eaten many times before at the head of her bed.

At that moment, she felt at ease.

The waiter did not do anything to her. He still put her on the bed, covered her with a quilt and left.

Fortunately, she did not get wet in the rain much at that time. Not long after the rain, the waiter's umbrella appeared. Otherwise, the waiter would have to consider whether to change her wet clothes.

She ate and went out, and found that her yard had not changed much. The air after the rain was fresh, and she had never felt such comfort.

When a half-figure appeared on the wall of the yard, she was still startled. Seeing that it was the waiter, her heart was beating for no reason.

"Are you awake? Did you sleep well?" the waiter asked.

"Didn't you go to work today?" She asked instead of answering.

"Well, I'm not busy today." The waiter answered. How could he not be busy? He was just worried that she would get sick alone.

"I slept well. Thank you yesterday." She said, and then smiled at him.

The waiter scratched his head and smiled honestly.

She opened her eyes wide in surprise and pointed at the sky behind the waiter: "Look, a rainbow!"

The waiter turned his head and saw a rainbow hanging in the sky. The colorful colors were exactly like his mood at the moment.

It turned out that the saying in the east was right. With you, life is colorful.
