Chapter 62 Football Hooligans (Part 2)

Tang En was not afraid to face these impulsive guys. The person closest to him could hit him on the nose as long as he swung his fist forward, but Tang En didn't take half a step back in front of the anger of these people.

He threw the torn flag at Hodge forcefully: "Michael's son is dead, and you are the murderers!"

The bar that was as noisy as the Colosseum suddenly fell silent. Everyone looked at Tang En in astonishment, and let the banner they regarded as life fall to the ground.

Hodge was also surprised, he asked, "What are you talking about!"

The door behind Dun En was pushed open again, and a sweaty Kenny Burns appeared in everyone's eyes. "Tony was right. Your guys knocked Gavin down as they were running, and you and those Millwall bastards stepped over him..."

Hodge's eyes widened, and he couldn't believe what he heard. He hadn't drunk much, and his mind was clear.

Tang En took a step forward and stared closely at Mark Hodge. "Glory is My Life" was stepped on by him and lost its golden brilliance.

"Football hooligans?" he scoffed, turning and leaving the dead bar. "Fuck you!"

Everyone watched him leave in silence, and Hodge's eyes widened, unable to believe it all. Burns looked at Hodge and his men who were dumbfounded, and followed Tang En to turn and leave.

"Kenny...you know, when I heard that Gavin was..., I really wanted to kill those bastards." Stepping out of the bar, Tang En said.

Burns nodded: "I understand."

"But when I saw them, I suddenly felt that they were very pitiful. I couldn't explain the reason, but I suddenly felt pity for them... This feeling is really weird. I should obviously rush up and give Hodge a punch. Why? It will be like this..." Tang En stood on the side of the street with his head down, muttering.

"Tony, even if you put them all in the hospital and lie in the hospital for half a year... Gavin won't be able to come back." Burns patted him on the shoulder and comforted him.

Dunn looked up at Burns, nodded and said, "I know, I know...it's because of this that I feel angry. It's like...it's like I just watched the team lose, but I can't do anything ...failure, pain...fuck it!"

He suddenly punched the phone booth next to him, and the glass shattered.

"I had a chance to save all of this! I could have prevented Gavin's death from happening! I called Hodge and the others murderers, but I know I am too! I'm a bloody murderer..." Tang En hugged He squatted down with his head bowed, blood dripping down his wrist and dripping on the ground.

Burns didn't stop him, but just quietly watched him vent.

Pedestrians passing by carefully avoided them, looked at the two men with fear and sympathy, and thought in their hearts that they must be with the group of people in the Robin Hood bar.

Cars drove past them one after another, splashing the stagnant water on the side of the road, but the two of them didn't dodge, letting the dirty water splash on their bodies.

The next day, "Nottingham Evening Post" first reported on the conflict between Nottingham fans and Millwall fans in the last round of League One, and then other major media made corresponding reports, even "The Times" Newspapers such as China Daily paid attention to the incident.

Fan brawls are not uncommon in the UK. The media and the public have seen them for a long time. There is only one reason why so many media have come to pay attention to a fan brawl after the First Division - dead people.

"...after the final round of the Premier League yesterday between Nottingham Forest and Millwall, fan groups from both sides gathered in an alley to brawl... During the clash, an innocent twelve-year-old boy was unfortunately killed. entered, and died after rescue failed..."

There were only two lines of information about Gavin Bernard in the report, nothing but age, no name, no characterization. People won't know how smart and sweet and likable and... undeserving this innocent dead child was.

The cold report was so objective and fair that Tang En hated it. But when the media dug deeper into the boy's death, Tang En didn't want to read the newspaper anymore, because looking at the photos of Gavin dug up from the school by the reporters and seeing how they described Gavin's death, Tang En felt as if he Go through what happened that night again.

He was angry, but had nowhere to vent.

Because he is the head of the fans, Michael has a good relationship with many players in the Forest team, such as Michael Dawson, Andy Reid, Marlon Hellwood, Ian Jess...etc. Everyone knows that he has a Bright and sweet kid, Gavin Bernard.

Therefore, when they learned from the media that Jr. Gavin died in a fan conflict, they almost lost their minds about training. The coaches stopped yelling at them on the training ground, and Tang En didn't ask them to concentrate anymore... The whole club was immersed in a kind of sadness.

Because Gavin's mother couldn't admit the pain of seeing her child's body, Michael decided to bury her early. The date for the funeral was fixed on May 9th. At the end of the training on the 8th day, Tang En told the players about the funeral, and hoped that everyone would send the poor child off at that time.

No one objected to Twain's decision. The coaches, team doctors, assistant coaches, and even the chairman, Mr. Daugherty, all agreed with this decision. Everyone... including Twain himself, may have forgotten that in a day's time, they will welcome a strong opponent at home and play an important game.

On May 10th, Nottingham Forest played against Sheffield United, the first round of the semi-final of the promotion playoffs of the English League One.
