Red Heart Survey

Volume 8 Summary and Remarks

Today is the first day of rest.

I went to have my teeth cleaned, and like everyone else who went to have their teeth cleaned, I also had three teeth filled.

I was reading book reviews yesterday, and the chapter said that it would exceed 1,000 in half an hour, and now it is 3,800+.

It's been well received.

Hahaha.

I feel relaxed.

Before opening this volume, I said that I hope everyone will like the story in this volume. Of course, this is my highest expectation and the direction of my greatest efforts.

But I also said that I will write in a Buddhist way, writing for health-

I originally expected to update 4,000 a day, and stop updating at will, to be a happy waste, a heartless handsome guy, rather than an edematous fat man, a depressed otaku.

So I repeatedly told everyone to take care of the book, take care of the book.

But I didn't expect that I couldn't persuade him. The subscription has been hovering between 18,000 and 20,000, and when the volume was closed, it reached a maximum of 24,000.

Every day when I open my eyes, there are 20,000 genuine readers waiting for updates.

It seems like there are 20,000 pairs of eyes looking at me in the void, telling me, Ah Shen, you have to hold on.

I can almost feel the feeling of Wang Changji... "From that time on, he has been watching the gods."

Every time I want to indulge, every time I open the computer with shame.

I didn't make this volume a waste.

But overall... I am probably happy.

I was very nervous when writing this volume, because the fatigue of the previous volume has not been eliminated, my mood is still at the bottom, and the difficulty of writing this volume is very, very high.

This is a volume that keeps filling in the holes, basically from the beginning to the end. Compared with the filling in the holes in the Fuyao volume, this volume is even more crazy, pulling out many, many hidden lines, igniting them together, and setting them off like fireworks for everyone to see.

White Bone Venerable God...

Zhang Linchuan...

Finished the details of the Qi-Xia War, further supplemented the world view, and enriched the history...

For example, the Jingmu War and the Jing State Westward Expansion War, which were only skipped in the previous volume, this volume also needs to explain the key details, so that the high emotions at the end of the previous volume will not be just castles in the air.

If the difficulty of digging a hole is ten, the difficulty of filling the hole is one hundred.

It is easy to write an eye-catching picture, but it is very difficult to fill the details of this picture and fill its causes and consequences without damaging its style.

For example, you can describe a wise man, saying that this person is extremely wise and scheming the world, how awesome. Use a few scenes with great style to establish the image.

But when you want to fill this hole. You have to kill many brain cells, use your brain that is definitely not up to the passing line of a wise man, to simulate that world with great effort, use the conditions in that world, and deduce some methods that you can never think of in a higher dimension. Of course, some writing skills are needed to help you overcome intellectual barriers. But it is impossible to accomplish it simply.

Imagine that when readers expect a business tycoon and how he will maneuver in business competition, it is finally revealed that his method is to grab the official seal...

For example, the sentence at the end "The baby crying loudly on the small bed, a pair of black eyes, suddenly turned pale!"

It is also an eye-catching picture when it is released alone.

But in order to let readers know who this baby is, "what is known gives rise to fear", how long did I write?

For example, in the Qi-Xia War in the God's Arrival Volume, I clearly wrote that there was a traitor in the high-level officials of the Xia State, which led to the defense system of Jianfeng Mountain being clearly visible to the Qi people.

How to fill this pit?

Preliminary introduction to the fact that Qi State has a Jixia Academy and Mu State has an Erdemi, and repeatedly emphasized that Xia State has a Tiger Terrace, where two Xia State marquises compete for the right to the right.

Such smart readers can easily infer that Xia Guo Hu Tai is also an existence equivalent to Jixia Academy. And the person in charge of Hu Tai who has never appeared must be a senior official of Xia Guo.

In this way, the candidate for the traitor can be accepted by readers.

In addition, Hu Tai is outside Guiyi City, and the Qi army was at the gates of the city that year. Jiang Shu did have the possibility of conquering Si Xuan Underground Palace. It makes sense logically and fits Jiang Shu in style.

In fact, this pit does not need to be filled at all, because most readers have forgotten...

But this is called the writer's character.

If there is a pit, it must be filled.

If it is not filled, don't dig.

...

It may be because of the difficulty of writing, or it may be because of bad mood and poor spirit.

The fatigue in writing the previous volume continued.

Since the first chapter, I have not saved any manuscripts, and I have been in a state of no saved manuscripts for a long time.

This makes me feel hugely insecure.

It's like walking on the edge of a cliff, and there is a danger of stepping into the air at any time.

The complicated plot has been woven to the present... This book is too difficult to write.

I find it incredible. I still get up at 8:30 every day, write, think, stop, and write until 10 pm. I still only have 4,000 words, and I can't save the manuscript?

I have tried many ways to adjust myself, but they all failed without exception.

The first step to happiness is that you can write 4,000 words quickly and then go out to play.

But I can't do it...

I am very good at comforting myself.

For example, when I go to bed at night, I make up my mind to write 8,000 words the next day, send 4,000, and save 4,000. After a while, I work one day and rest one day on average. What a great job.

After I finished the update the next morning, I thought... Actually, 6,000 words is not bad. I can save one day by writing for two days!

When writing at night... 4,000 words is good enough. If you keep updating, you will be great! Go to sleep first, and get up tomorrow to write 8,000 words!

This cycle repeats itself, and the lazy fish continues to be lazy fish.

For example, when Qiqi reached the first silver level.

I said it was not a big problem, it was just one more update, and I could easily tick it off when I was in a good state one day.

When Qiqi left a message aggrievedly urging him to update, I quickly explained to him in the book review area that because the author's hand speed was too bad and he was in debt, he had to queue up to pay off the debt... It was already scheduled!

Who knew that Qiqi didn't read the comments, and the next day he got another silver level, and left another message asking why there was no more update.

I was anxious, you listen to my explanation, you look at my explanation, why did you reach the silver level without a word?

I quickly explained to Qiqi in the comment area again, and asked the operation to help reply and explain.

Qiqi still didn't see it, and then he got another silver level!

Everyone in the alliance group was condemning me, asking why I was so arrogant and indifferent to the boss.

I was really embarrassed, and I worked hard to finish the boss's extra chapters. I was afraid that if I slowed down, boss Qiqi would send me a few more silver chapters.

I just breathed a sigh of relief after paying back the extra chapters for boss Qiqi.

Our gold general alliance jumped out and asked me loudly why Qiqi actually cut in line? ! And he, Qin, joined the silver alliance last year, and the extra chapters have not been paid yet...

So this is what it feels like when there is a fire in the harem?

I explained to him, but boss Qiqi doesn't read messages or join the group. I can't explain, so I can only reply with extra chapters to avoid hurting the boss's heart.

Boss Qin just - I don't want to listen, I don't want to listen, I don't want to listen.

Oh my God, who can tell me, I obviously work hard every day, and I feel like I am paying off my debts every day, why haven't I paid off my owed chapters yet? !

There was no other way, so I tried hard to repay President Qin and the Silver Committee...

I had decided to lie down, but in the end I started doing sit-ups...

To be honest, the support that readers gave to this novel is not enough for the author to work hard.

A novel with 4,000 words a day has been on the top ten of the overall list twice during the serialization of this volume. They can't even get a monthly ticket for Chi Xin, and they have to read other books to support Chi Xin. What kind of spirit is this!

Your love is so intuitively expressed here, and my intentions are also between the lines of this novel.

I have always been ashamed to talk about writing skills, just for fear of misleading students. But today I want to talk to you.

Let's talk about how I made everyone believe in this world and make it have a "sense of reality".

The first is the sense of existence and heaviness of history, and the second is the sense of flow and development of the world.

One is forward. The other is backward.

History is everywhere. It is what happened in the past in this world, and to a large extent, it must have affected the present. It can't just be a background board, just a thin piece of paper. It should be more three-dimensional than anything else, more real than anything else.

For this reason, I filled in a lot of details in the corners of the story.

For example, Qiao Yanjun is synonymous with rich women in Qi State, such as the various delicacies in the world of Chixin, such as Er Fengming scolding Jiang Wang, scolding Lingyang Hou during the reign of Emperor Wu of Qi.

Let alone the kings with a strong sense of existence such as Emperor Wu of Qi, the influence of the monarchs like Emperor Xia Xiang who failed in their great achievements can also be seen by readers from many details of Xia State.

And an emperor Liang Min who only exists in history books, an incompetent monarch, the last emperor, when his sword "Chi Fu" appears in the hands of the disciples of Jiange. You will feel... Is there really such a person in history?

This is the omnipresence of history and the thickness of history.

And the reality of the world lies in [flow], that is, a sense of development and participation.

For example, after I wrote the Master's Ceremony, Chong Xuanzun chatted with his father.

Just to portray the two characters and describe the father-son relationship between Uncle Mingguang and Brother Zun, my writing requirements for this dialogue are "interesting dialogue" and "distinct personality".

But in addition to meeting the writing requirements of the story framework and character portrayal, I have other thoughts on it.

In the dialogue, Uncle Mingguang shamelessly asked his son to do things for him, buy the house that the neighbor refused to sell, and let him open it up so that he could enjoy life.

As a portrayal of the father-son relationship, this dialogue is appropriate.

But not long after, the yard was really bought and opened up. In the text, it was just a passing mention, about less than ten words. Ninety-nine percent of readers will not pay attention to such details. Even now I can't remember where I drew this stroke.

But as long as one reader pays attention to these words, the reality of the world is created.

Because you will find that this world is really flowing. The people in this world are really living their own lives and having their own stories.

The same is true here.

When Jiang Wang was desperate in the world of confusion.

Yin Guan was also fighting desperately for the inheritance of the Immortal Palace.

Uriel is also carrying an old case, walking on the edge of life and death.

Our perspective is on Jiang Wang. But the last two stories are also happening. But they can only be proved by a few words long after the matter is over.

The world is fluid.

There are many stories happening in this world that the author has not written and the readers have not seen. We can imagine as much as we want.

It is not enough for a vast fairy world to be fluid, developing, and have a history and a future. It also needs to have texture.

And where is the texture reflected? What should be the most authentic reality in a novel world?

I think it's originality.

It can be as small as poems, lyrics and songs, as well as the Shu Guoshu, as large as a unique system of practice, endless paths of practice, people who continue to push the world, and a history of sufficient thickness.

I am shallow and I am arrogant. You have to write and create everything yourself.

In order not to let my shallowness affect the world, the original classics in my heart usually only show half-finished sentences. But just such a small sentence, I have to think about it for a long time.

I can't tell you it's a classic, but the excerpt is "Look at this bowl, it's big and round."

I can only rack my brains, ponder over and over again, dazed for a while, waiting for the gift of inspiration.

What about "Daxia Fangzhi", "General Theory of Five Punishments", "Shimen Military Strategy", "Stories of Strange Beasts", and "Xianfang Jing".

What about "Chaocangwu" and "You Sheng's Bi Tan".

What about "Jingxu Xiang'er Collection" and "Mingshan Nine Trigrams".

What about "The Bodhisattva Sutra" and "The Bodhisattva Annotation".

Even the "Sutra of No Life", "Three Listens to the Three Buddhas", and even a beast-faced play on the grassland...

Even "The Sword of History Cuts the Sea"!

Friends, can you feel the huge amount of work involved?

In the vast world, there are countries all over the world. Each country has a different environment, different political ecology, different history and characters, as well as the "crystallization of wisdom" of sages and many classic works scattered in this world.

This is not what a novel writer should do at all.

And I want to fill in these things in addition to the excitement of the story and the characterization of the characters.

If you see this seriously.

You will find out.

Qing He Yi Shi is also a very good author, but his volume is not about the number of words.

I always feel that my creative life will not be very long.

Because it consumes too much myself.

If someone were to observe my writing state, they would probably think that I am a psychopath.

Because I often talk to myself, I often imitate the words and actions of characters in novels. When I was writing and the plot was exciting, the keyboard made a crackling sound when I typed it, as if by smashing the keyboard, the characters in the book could also smash their opponents.

I respect every character in the story and never hesitate to show the charm of anyone.

I respect their paths, be honest about their choices, and let them collide freely.

The main thread of "The Heart of the Sky" is by no means Jiang Wang's personal revenge, or in other words, it is just one of the bright threads. From beginning to end, what I want to explain is this complete world of Xianxia. Therefore, I put a lot of effort into getting each piece of the historical puzzle closer and each part of the world becoming clearer.

If I have to describe it, my writing is like "knitting a sweater". Many threads are entangled together, constantly entangled, each moving forward, and finally forming a complete picture.

For example, when Zuo Guangshu and Xiong Jingyu chatted in the garden of Huaiguo Gongfu, my writing requirement for that scene was to outline a beautiful family through the description of these two people, so that their memories would be deeper and their emotions stronger. Strong. It is written about the mother and son, and it is also written about the Duke of Huai's family.

And one of them is about the golden feather impatiens flower. The conflict between the Bao brothers was mentioned in passing.

I had already thought about the endings of Bao Bozhao and Bao Zhongqing very early on, but it was only from that moment that I started sketching them out. In a completely unrelated plot.

Looking back at the entire Chixin Tiantian Survey, this is true in many places.

I try to juggle everything, wanting every word to have multiple meanings and bear multiple responsibilities.

Let the reader read back from this line to be complete, and read back from that line to be complete. Each line is very clear, and they are all intertwined. It is such a serious story.

But the problem caused by this is——

There are limits to what an author can do.

It is impossible for the author to completely escape from "knowledge" and the author's cognition to fully understand the reader's perspective.

Although I finish writing each chapter, I have to read it carefully. But I often read places that I would stop to appreciate over and over again, and that I thought were exquisite, but in fact I was not able to give readers immediate feedback at the time. Its brilliance lies long later, in the author's own mind.

Just like the pot of golden feather impatiens.

The pot withered in three days.

Its true beauty can only bloom in front of you after "Crane Soars to the Sky" is finished.

It is impossible for an author to take care of everything and do everything to the best of his ability.

I have always been annoyed that when I was writing about Zhengsheng Palace, when I was writing about the relationship between Yue Leng, Li Youyun and Jiang Wang, I wanted to take into account too many details, but due to my poor mental state, I wrote a section that was vague and boring, and I couldn't stand to watch it.

I will also never forget some of the plots that I had to cut out at the end of the God's Arrival Scroll because I was in a bad mood and lacked energy. Among them is the line between Chen Zeqing and Wang Yiwu. It was originally intended to bring Wang Yiwu back from his gradually marginalized situation, and also to flesh out the character of Chen Zeqing. I thought they could have a role in the future, so I made a choice and gave the Xia people my little energy...

There are so many great characters in the novel.

The author is indeed a weak mortal.

But I still have to take care of both, and I still have to try my best to maintain emotional stability, ensure a good body and a good spirit, and push everything in this world forward.

Because if any of the pieces are missing, it is not the "Xianxia World of Love" that I wrote in the introduction.

Welcome you to come.

I don't regret you leaving.

By the way, I forgot to report to everyone. The average subscription of Chixin Xuntian is now 19,500. I have a bold idea - I wonder if it can reach 20,000 when I return from vacation?

Thanks to all the readers who support me and give me strength.

Thank you to all the readers who accompany Jiang Wang to explore this Xianxia world.

The name of the next volume is -

"Mirror Flower Water Moon".

I also hope that it will be liked by everyone.
