Long journeys in the void make us weary...
How long has it been? All I remember is that we've been flying all the time, in endless space...
However, our resources are not endless and they are about to be exhausted.
However, our journey did not end because of a signal. We suddenly received a signal. After our analysis, we can determine which direction the signal came from.
When resources were about to be exhausted, we had no other idea, and we all decided to go to the point where the signal was sent.
Then our entire fleet turned around, because that signalling point could find a resource, it could be a system error, it could be nothing, it could be in danger.
Whatever it is, we've already flown there.
I don't even know how we got to that place, I just remember... we were in a big fog of dust and all the instruments were out of order.
However, soon the dust and fog dissipated and the instrument resumed operation. A world appeared in front of our eyes. This world seemed to have a thick cloud and fog, and I believe that useful resources were hidden in it.
We cheered, and at perhaps the happiest time of our long journey, we ate most of the food and landed on the world.
No matter what kind of world, we can get a lot of resources on it.
However, the world is not quite what we imagined...
Its surface is made of metal, and we haven't seen anything like it, but we landed on it anyway. And chose an open place.
When we try to mine the metals that make up the earth. when obtaining resources from it. We accidentally discovered an 'entrance'.
This portal seems to lead to the depths of the metal world, and we are surprised to find that the space inside the portal is filled with air.
We initially thought that the world might have been constructed by a civilization whose creatures might still be living inside this portal.
So, we quickly formed a team to explore, and this team was led by me.
Beneath the location, we found a lot of wonderful things. There's a lot of machinery here that we don't know what to do, and they're always running.
A friend of mine, it said what it thinks, it thinks the whole world is one giant machine, and we're somewhere in that machine.
I initially thought its words were nonsense...
But I quickly got word from the ground that we had a section of the population still on the ground and they observed something amazing, they said they had met some huge voids that would break down anything that fell into it.
It's like... eating.
I didn't pay much attention to it at the beginning, because we were going deeper and deeper into the underground. The temperature underground is much warmer and we have set up several camps here. And try to grow food here.
However, just as I was setting up my newest camp... we were attacked and it seemed to be a creature.
Mud-like creatures, they appear to be made of liquid, but with intelligence, they snatch and use our weapons.
In the battle against them, we suffered heavy losses.
But at least we drove them away, but at this time we received news that other camps were also attacked.
Other creatures attacked them.
I quickly went to other camps to help them fight the creatures.
In the process of fighting, I found that these creatures have different shapes, some are huge, some have weird abilities, but they are all very different from us, and their composition is fundamentally different from us.
The originally empty underground space seems to have turned into a lively city at this moment, all kinds of creatures appear in an instant, and under their constant attacks, our camp cannot be established.
We gathered all the camp members, engaged the creatures, and attempted to escape the place.
Because those creatures were too powerful, I thought it was impossible to escape... but my friend gave us new advice, he thought that these creatures were not attacking us, they were just 'wild creatures' here, as long as Be careful to avoid them.
Its 'nonsense' is surprisingly accurate. At the beginning, all of us thought that these creatures were the 'weapons' of the civilization here, and that these creatures appeared to attack us.
But at the suggestion of my friend, we started to study these creatures, learned about their habits, and found that there were indeed ways to avoid them without fighting them, and we even found that some creatures were friendly to us.
In the end, we managed to get out of this underground space.
However, when we got back to the surface, we found our fleet...disappeared.
In fact, underground, I haven't contacted them all the time, and now I found out the reason, it turned out that it was not information interference, but that they were all gone.
Where did they... go?
They were eaten.
My friend told me so.
After that, we depended on the remaining resources and some companions to live in this metal world. Because of the harsh environment on the ground, we had to turn underground, which could save a lot of resources.
But it also means that we have to live with those creatures.
Knowing their habits, we can still successfully avoid them, but there are occasional mistakes.
In the midst of these mistakes, our companions fell one by one, and they were basically killed by the creatures here...and my friend...it has been doing some research.
It is studying how to communicate with the world.
It thought it could, and it told me that the world was deliberately drawing us in and eating us, and that initial signal was a trap.
I don't care what it says.
Even if what it says is right, it doesn't make any sense.
We're now going to find a way out of this world, so I've been trying to build a flying machine.
In the end, I succeeded.
A few surviving companions and I decided to leave in this craft, but my friend insisted on staying.
I didn't keep it, and it did, with this metal world.
I don't know how it will end up like this, but we can at least continue...the journey. (To be continued...)I1292
