Hogwarts Everything Is Three

Chapter 71 Breakthrough (Modified)

When he saw the half-open door, he thought it might be too late for Alan to arrive, but Alan had already been waiting here! This relieved several people, after all, Alan's strength is obvious to all.

Harry and the others looked at each other and pushed the door open.

Following the creaking sound of the door opening, low-pitched barking immediately sounded in their ears. Although the big dog couldn't see them, all three of its noses were twitching and sniffing frantically towards them.

"What's that at its feet?" Hermione asked softly.

"Looks like a harp," said Ron. "Snape must have left it."

"It's not Professor Snape." Allen said in his heart, but if he told what he saw at this time, it is conceivable that they would yell and ask the bottom line, which would be too much time-consuming. Anyway, soon they will know the truth.

Allen stretched out his wand, and the harp at the feet of the three-headed dog Lu Wei continued to play music. Allen was the first to walk towards the trapdoor. As he got closer to the three huge heads, he could feel the hot, stinky breath of the big dogs.

Allen pulled open the trap door and looked around. It was dark inside. The three of Harry tiptoed to Alan's side.

"There's no ladder here, how do you get down?" Ron looked a little timidly at the unfathomable hole.

"It seems that we have to dance!" Harry said in a deep voice.

"Who wants to go down first? Really jump?" said Ron. "I don't know how deep the hole is."

While they were still discussing, Allen lifted his robe, put one hand on the edge of the hole, and jumped down resolutely.

The cold, damp air whizzed by Allen's ears. He fell, fell, fell, and—thumped. With a strange, dull crash, Alan landed on something soft. He sat up and groped around. Although his eyes hadn't adjusted to the dim light, he knew he was sitting on a devil's web.

"Soft landing, you can jump!" Allen yelled towards the hole, which now looked like a spot of light the size of a postage stamp.

Harry jumped down first, followed by Ron, on all fours.

"What the hell is this?" Ron asked as soon as he opened his mouth.

"I don't know, it seems to be a kind of plant. It's probably laid here to reduce the impact of the fall. Come on, Hermione!" Harry yelled towards the hole.

"Don't move, this is the devil's net." Allen had quietly moved away from the pile of devil's nets, stood on the ground, and warned Harry and Ron at the same time.

Harry and Ron wanted to learn how to stand up like Allen, but they had been entangled in long vines before they knew it. Hearing Allen's warning, the two remained motionless.

"Hermione, it's the devil's net, jump off and be careful." Hermione just landed, and jumped up suddenly, struggling to move towards a wet wall. Although her reaction was already very quick, the moment she fell, the devil's net stretched out snake-like tendrils and wrapped around her ankles. Thankfully, Hermione managed to break free before the vines could get a firm grip on her.

Harry and Ron looked at Allen eagerly, and Hermione stood aside in shock, thinking desperately about the habits of the devil's net. "Devil's web, what did Professor Sprout say? Said it likes the dark and the damp..."

Before Hermione could finish speaking, her eyes met Alan's, and they nodded at each other. They pulled out their wands together, waved them around, muttering words, and shot a blue bellflower-like flame from the head of the wand. In just a few seconds, Harry and Ron felt the vines recede from the light and warmth and let go of their grip. The plants twisted and twitched, unwinding the tendrils that wrapped themselves around them, and they finally broke free.

"Thanks for having you here, Alan!" Harry looked at Alan gratefully.

"Hermione thought of that too," Ron added.

"It's nothing, as long as you listen carefully in the herbal medicine class, you will find out in time. Of course, Hermione is great, and she also thought of the magic spell of blazing flames." Allen spread his hands, trying to be a teacher. I always like to encourage learning at the right time.

"Ahem, this way." Alan noticed his gaffe, and pointed to a stone corridor. This is the only way to go.

They heard, besides their own footsteps, the sound of water dripping slowly along the walls. In such a quiet passage, it looked particularly terrifying.

"Can you hear anything?" Ron asked quietly.

Everyone listened carefully. There seemed to be a soft rustling and clanging sound coming from ahead.

"Could it be a ghost?"

"I didn't know it sounded like the flapping of wings."

"There's a light ahead—I see something moving."

When they came to the end of the corridor, they found a brightly lit room with a high vaulted ceiling. Countless little birds, as dazzling as jewels, flapped their wings and flew around the room. There was a heavy wooden door on the opposite side of the room.

"It's the key." Allen answered Ron's question in a soft voice, and walked in towards the door first.

"Keys?" Ron stared at the keys flying in the air inexplicably.

"A key with wings, which means..." Before Harry could finish, he was interrupted by an excited voice. It was Hermione, "Look at Ellen!"

Allen has walked to a corner of the room without incident, picked up a broomstick, "I have snatched all the training content designed by Dumbledore for Harry, if he knew what kind of expression he would have .” A little mischievously thinking of this, Allen turned over and rode up.

"I see. If you want to pass through this door, you have to find the key to this door." Harry suddenly realized.

"But there are hundreds of keys on it. It's too difficult to find the right Portkey among so many keys!" Hermione had no talent for flying, and she looked at the wings flying all over the sky. Key, a little worried.

Ron, on the other hand, examined the lock of the door carefully. "We're looking for a large antique key - probably silver and shaped like a doorknob."

Immediately afterwards, each of them also grabbed a broom, kicked their feet, rose into the air, and rushed into the group of densely packed keys. They scratched and fished desperately, but the enchanted keys dodged so quickly that it was impossible to get hold of.
