Chapter 284 The Noble Born Black Family
"You're not on it." Allen said, looking at the bottom line of the family tree.
"It used to be on it." Sirius said, pointing to a small blackened round hole in the tapestry, like a cigarette burnt mark.
"My dear old mother destroyed me after I ran away from home - Kreacher loved to whisper that story."
"You ran away from home?"
"I was about sixteen," said Sirius, "and I had enough."
"Where have you been?" Allen asked, staring at him.
Sirius fell silent suddenly, and after a long time, he said, "James' house."
Allen touched his nose, pretending to suddenly become interested in this tapestry, on which he saw his mother's cousin Druella Rozier Blake.
This Druela Rozier, who married Sirius' uncle, Signus Black, and gave birth to the three sisters Bellatrix, Narcissa, and Andromeda, had passed away with her husband before.
"In this way, we are still distant relatives?" Sirius, who was already disgusted with the family tree, followed Alan's gaze, and only noticed the original surnames of his cousins' mothers.
Allen quickly stopped the other party from thinking of a relationship: "My mother and her cousin don't have a good relationship."
Sirius shrugged indifferently, he didn't have the idea of reneging on debts by building relationships.
But a name at the bottom of the family tree attracted his attention: Regulus Black. After the date of birth there is a date of death (about fifteen years ago).
Sirius also bent down, looking more closely at the tapestry.
This performance made Allen more convinced of his judgment. Sirius may not agree with his family's ideas. This does not mean that he does not love his family and does not expect the warmth of his family.
"This is my brother, a fool." Sirius noticed Alan's gaze, and stroked the part with Regulus Black's name embroidered on it.
"He is so weak that he actually believed my parents' nonsense—as a member of the Black family, he is naturally noble..."
Allen couldn't agree with what Sirius said. It was this Regulus Black who bravely embraced death and took away Voldemort's "Horcrux" hidden in the middle of the lake.
"He became a Death Eater!" Sirius turned his head to look at the other names.
"Are your parents Death Eaters too?" Allen asked.
"No, it's not, but believe me, they think Voldemort's proposition is correct. They are all in favor of maintaining the purity of wizarding blood, getting rid of Muggle-borns, and letting pure-bloods take power."
After a pause, Sirius continued: "Of course, they are not unique. Before Voldemort showed his true face, many people believed that his claims on some things were correct..."
Allen decided more and more that Sirius might hate his parents' ideas, but not really hate them.
"I haven't looked at this thing in years."
"This is Phineas Nigellus...my great-great-grandfather, see?...the most unpopular headmaster in Hogwarts history..."
"And Araminta Melephron...my mother's cousin...trying to force a Ministry of Magic law legalizing the killing of Muggles..."
"And my dear Aunt Eladora...she started the family tradition of beheading house-elves when they were too old to carry a plate..."
"Of course, every time a reasonably decent figure comes into the family they disown him."
Sirius curled his lips, obviously, he was one of the fairly decent characters.
Well, dishonest people enjoy the noble life comfortably, but he, a decent person, was imprisoned in Azkaban for thirteen years!
Allen doesn't drink this bowl of poisonous chicken soup.
"Okay, let's go, let's fulfill our promise quickly."
Sirius straightened up and led Alan through the hall stairs,
Climb up to the second floor.
"There are some collections there that you might be interested in." Blake pointed to the dusty glass-doored cabinets on either side of the mantelpiece. "You pick and choose."
As he spoke, Blake wanted to draw back the tightly-covered curtains.
Suddenly, Black uttered a curse, and Allen turned his head to look.
A few adult foxes flew out from the folds of the curtain, their beetle-like shiny wings buzzed and flapped, their needle-like teeth were exposed, and their small and exquisite bodies were covered with thick black hair. His fists were clenched tightly in anger.
Caught off guard, Blake's hand was bitten.
Allen blinked, froze these foxes with a freezing spell, and threw a bottle of antidote to Blake.
"Hasn't Kreacher cleaned up in the past ten years?"
said Sirius bitterly, plopped down on a sunken armchair, then yelped in disgust and jumped up—
He looked down and felt relieved, it wasn't alive, it wouldn't hurt anyone, it didn't matter - it was just a nest of dead cattails.
Allen couldn't help laughing, Sirius was really unlucky.
Allen focused his attention on the cabinet in front of him.
The glass cabinet doors were filthy, and the objects of dark magic inside were even more bizarre.
Allen pointed with his wand and cleaned up the cabinet. Then, gently opened the cabinet door, tidy up one by one.
A rusty short sword, animal claws, coiled snakeskin, a decorative crystal vial set with an opal containing blood, a biting silver rhinitis box containing sarcoma powder, a multi- A tweezer-like device for feet, a music box that crawls like a spider and hypnotizes...
And - Slytherin's locket!
Without hesitation, Allen threw the locket into the system storage space.
The familiar system sounded: "I found a broken soul, are you sure you want to continue storing it?"
"Of course." Allen replied.
The system stopped making any sound, and the locket disappeared from Alan's eyes.
Scanning the rest, a Merlin First Class, a large gold ring engraved with the Black family logo, and a family photo in a silver frame...
Allen didn't find anything more valuable than Slytherin's locket, so he stood up.
He was surprised to find that Sirius was kneeling in front of a writing desk, looking stupid, weeping silently.
And in front of him is - Harry? Potter!
It was Harry's body, lying across in front of Sirius.
Allen's heart couldn't help beating violently, but in an instant, he realized that it must be Boggart.
Harry was enjoying himself at Hogwarts at the moment.
Allen quickly stepped forward and dealt with the Boggart.
It turns out that what Sirius fears most is - Harry's death!
"He'll be fine," Allen said.
"I know that with Dumbledore around, Harry will never be in danger." Sirius stood up with a gloomy face.
"Nothing? But yes, a smart little wizard like you will definitely not be interested in the Order of Merlin, the gold ring, etc." He looked at Allen's empty hand and said.
"Upstairs there is a library, but the books in it are not old, if you will..."
"Of course." Allen is a Ravenclaw through and through, and greed is the nature of ravens.
He didn't want to miss any opportunity to gain knowledge and increase his strength.
