Chapter 989 Namo Amitabha
Within a radius of hundreds of kilometers, everyone who was planted with spiritual seeds by Zhang Jun sensed and saw the phantom of the Buddha sitting cross-legged in the void. The believers excitedly prostrated themselves on the ground and bowed to the ground in the direction where Zhang Jun was sitting. Then they chanted Buddhist sutras in the same tone and in the same way.
This set of Buddhist scriptures is called "The Sutra of Infinite Light in Rebirths". The scriptures are only about 3,000 words, but they were written by Zhang Jun after painstaking thought of fifty-six trillion Taoist thoughts. Each word directly refers to Buddhist teachings. , teaching people to free themselves from troubles and at the same time increase their own practice.
At this moment, Zhang Jun was sitting in the Dajin Temple, and what he was preaching was also the Sutra of Infinite Light in Rebirths. When he was preaching, flowers were falling from the sky, incense was blowing, and the Buddha in the sky radiated immeasurable Buddha light. All the believers present were bathed in the Buddha light, and their understanding was greatly improved. Many people had breakthroughs on the spot, and their souls were greatly sublimated.
Zhang Jun's feeling was actually even stronger. The more than 60 million divine thoughts he released were increasing and growing at an incredible speed. Finally, the seeds of spiritual thoughts began to crack with a "click" and split into ten pieces. In fact, when he split his divine thoughts, he split more than 560 trillion divine thoughts, but in the end every ten divine thoughts merged into one. The reason for this result is that the soul's endurance has reached its limit.
But now, his spiritual thoughts have been nourished by the power of faith and have grown rapidly, turning one into ten. The ten divine thoughts that were born continue to absorb the power of faith and will.
Zhang Jun can clearly feel that these separated divine thoughts are very powerful, ten times or a hundred times more powerful than his normal divine thoughts, and they will become stronger in the future.
The stronger the spiritual thoughts, the greater the influence on believers, which can better improve their understanding and guide them to practice correctly. But this is not the result Zhang Jun wants. He hopes to reopen the Pure Land with the help of the will of all living beings, rather than using them to strengthen his own spiritual thoughts.
"This method can actually strengthen the spiritual mind. If things go on like this, won't it be true that I can have a billion clones in the future? Or even more?" Thinking of this possibility, he himself was shocked.
For the power of manifestation, theoretically every divine thought can manifest a clone. It makes sense that the mighty powers in myths and legends would manifest themselves into trillions of incarnations at every turn. Of course, theories are just theories, and that's not the case in practice. For example, when Li Taichu condensed the fifth-level soul, the soul split as many as thirty-three times.
The soul has been divided thirty-three times, which means that he has more than four billion spiritual thoughts. In fact, Li Taichu only had more than 200 million divine thoughts at that time. Like Zhang Jun, every twenty divine thoughts were combined into one. By the time he became the Revealed Saint Dao Lord, the number of divine thoughts had shrunk to 10 million. This is a phenomenon that all monks will encounter. The number of spiritual thoughts decreases sharply. The reason is very simple. The cultivator himself cannot provide enough energy to support the existence of so many spiritual thoughts. As a result, the spiritual thoughts merge on their own and become less and less.
Li Taichu had more than 10 million divine thoughts, but this did not mean that he could manifest more than 10 million clones. First, he must leave enough energy for himself. The energy used to manifest the clone generally does not exceed one-tenth of the total energy. After this calculation, he only has more than one million spiritual thoughts that can be used to manifest clones.
This part of the more than one million divine thoughts that can be used still needs several divine thoughts to be combined into one to support the manifestation of the weakest clone. Let's take Li Taichu as an example. With his current cultivation level, he needs at least 500 divine thoughts combined to support the manifestation of a clone.
At last count, Li Taichu could manifest up to two thousand clones at the same time. Compared with the more than 200 million spiritual thoughts when the soul was split, there was a huge gap.
Unlike Li Taichu, the great scholar Su Taidou only split more than 500,000 spiritual thoughts at the beginning. But precisely because the number of soul divisions is small, every one of his spiritual thoughts is very strong. By the time he appeared as a saint, the number of divine thoughts had not decreased, there were still more than half a million. And because his spiritual thoughts are relatively strong, he can manifest one clone for every thirty or so divine thoughts, so he can manifest more than 1,600 clones at the same time, and there is almost no difference between the two.
One of the two is a fifth-grade soul, and the other is a seventh-grade soul; one has more than 200 million divine thoughts, and the other has more than 500,000 divine thoughts. But the final result is surprising. The number of clones between the two is not much different. When Su Taidou becomes the Holy King, he will never be much weaker than the current Li Taichu.
Regarding this point, the four emperors deduced a possibility, that is, they lacked enough merit to support it when condensing the Tao embryo. Merit is like nourishment to the fetus for the growth of the Tao fetus. If merit is insufficient, the baby will be malnourished and develop poorly. Li Taichu had enough spiritual thoughts, but he did not obtain enough merit to support the growth of his spiritual thoughts.
Based on the cultivation experience he learned from the emperors, and combined with what he gained at this time, Zhang Jun suddenly became enlightened and said in his heart: "Yes! A person's power is limited after all. I have as many as 560 trillion Dao." Divine thoughts, how can one person's soul support them alone? I am now sending out 60 million divine thoughts to help these people practice, and they are grateful to me and believe in me. This is my merit! My more than 6,000 divine thoughts will grow stronger, and then I will transform ten into 600 million divine thoughts, and I will eventually be able to manifest 600 million clones!"
At this time, he opened his eyes and looked at the believers sitting down, his eyes suddenly showed compassion. It seems that these believers are part of his body, an extension of his soul. He couldn't help but clasping his hands together and shouting the Buddha's name: Namo Amitabha!
The Buddha sitting cross-legged in the void also opened his eyes and seemed to have uttered a majestic and solemn Buddhist chant, which combined with Zhang Jun's Buddhist chant to shake the three thousand worlds, and the echoes were endless. More than 60 million Buddhists in Myanmar also heard Zhang Jun's solemn and grand Buddhist chant in their hearts. They didn't know why they burst into tears, and they had a strong sense of belonging in their hearts, as if the wanderers who had been away for many years returned to their mother's arms. The feeling was both warm and relaxing.
"Namo Amitabha!"
Everyone chanted this Buddhist chant at the same time. More than 60 million beliefs soared into the sky and gathered into a vast and boundless wish. Ignoring the limitations of the rules of time and space, they instantly reached the outside of the Buddhist world.
"Namo Amitabha!"
The Buddhist chant also came from the void, coming from the distant past and from the unpredictable future.
"Boom!"
The Buddhist world shook, and the small world of Pure Land in it shone brightly, with the sound of Buddhist chants and the fragrance of the wind. The desolate land was shaken, and countless Buddhist disciples in seclusion in all directions looked at the Pure Land in shock. Then they all smiled and chanted the Buddha's name in unison: "Namo Amitabha!"
