Harry Potter’s Strongest Senior

Chapter 278 Becoming a Superior

"Sean!" A clear female voice came, and Sean followed it.

Chris was wearing a light pink slim-fitting T-shirt and a pair of khaki linen casual pants. This very ordinary outfit seemed to have increased its price when worn by Chris.

Jerry was like a hairy pig, being held by Chris's hands on his chest. He looked at Sean with a salty look, not as if he was seeing his master.

"Chris, you gave him too much food." Sean took Jerry over. The weight he got was over 15 kilograms, three or four times heavier than Hermione's Crookshanks.

"Look, she's so cute when she's chubby." Chris didn't think there was a problem.

"Jerry, I'm going to lose weight this semester." He shook Jerry's chubby body.

Jerry seemed to understand. He called out "meow" and looked at Sean disdainfully.

"I went to Egypt, and I look a lot more mature, Sean." Old Barty said as he walked behind Chris.

"Director Crouch." Sean said.

"Take care of Chrissy at Hogwarts. I think there is no better student in the school than you." Old Barty said.

"Yes, Chris is my friend." Sean agreed with a smile.

Today is Wednesday. Logically speaking, Ministry of Magic employees such as Crouch and Arthur have to go to work at this time, but for the safety of the children, they still come to deliver them in person.

It's just that Arthur took a leave of absence, and Crouch was being sidelined by Fudge's power anyway, so it would be better not to go to the Ministry of Magic.

"Hey, Sean, Chris, get on the train, I miss you so much." On the train, Cassius stuck his head out of the window and shouted excitedly.

The two got on the bus and met Snape in one of the Slytherin carriages.

"Sit down, sit down." Snape knocked a chestnut on Sean's head.

"Professor, I just got in the car." Sean touched the back of his head and said aggrievedly.

"After the opening ceremony in the evening, let's go to the principal's office." After leaving this sentence, Snape went to the next carriage.

"Sean, tell us your thrilling story in Egypt." Cassius took out a handful of toffees and strange-flavored peas, as if he was listening to the story seriously.

"Okay, riding in the car is boring anyway." Sean pursed his lips, "Telling stories takes a lot of time, so you have to buy me a drink."

The train started at 1 o'clock sharp, and it was 5 hours away from its destination, Hogsmeade Station. During this time, the train was extremely lively, and the students who had not seen each other during the summer vacation had endless things to say.

In a carriage in Gryffindor, Ron was telling his two friends what happened in Cairo.

"What were you talking about?" Ron stuffed a beef strip into his mouth.

"I was tricked into going to a fake tourist attraction by a liar." Harry listened with relish.

Hermione asked, "Isn't it about the kidnapping yet?"

She had seen this report in the Daily Prophet, and Sean's name also appeared in the report.

"Don't worry, we'll talk about it next." Ron cleared his throat, "Bill originally planned to take us to visit the attractions. Sean only had Galleons on him at the time, so he followed Bill to Gringotts to exchange for some golden lions."

Ron's description is naturally not as exciting as Sean's own. When it comes to making up stories, Sean is a professional.

The train went all the way north, passing through England and entering Scotland. The sun set in the west, and the bright white light turned into a red afterglow.

"We're here, we're here." Sean took a sip of grape juice to moisten his throat. After talking for several hours, his throat started to smoke.

"Ah, I haven't heard enough yet." Cassius said with unfinished content.

"We can continue in the common room when we have time," Sean said. "Let's go back to the dormitory and change into wizard robes."

"Wait a minute, Sean, did you forget something?" Chris called to Sean who was hugging Jerry.

"No, all my luggage is in the space expansion bag." Sean said.

Cassius patted Sean on the shoulder and said, "You have to get out of the car and lead the new students."

Sean was a little confused, "Why?"

"Because you are a prefect, have you forgotten?" Cassius said.

"When did I become a prefect?" Sean tried hard to remember, but he had no memory at all.

Chris explained helplessly, "In the last Potions class before the final exam last semester, the class voted for you. You were not here, but you were still chosen to be the male prefect."

"Ah, that's it. Why didn't you tell me during the holiday?"

"Why didn't you say it? I told you face to face." Cassius corrected, "You didn't take it to heart at all."

"The female prefect, needless to say, is Chris." Sean said.

"Of course." Chris said a little arrogantly.

Chris pulled Sean out of the car and asked as he walked, "Do you know what the prefect is going to do? Forget it, you definitely don't know."

"Prefects need to patrol between classes to ensure that no students violate school rules. They also have the right to deduct college points from other students, but not other prefects, and the upper limit is only 20 points. After all, prefects are not professors."

"Prefects are also responsible for guiding the life and study of lower-grade students, and prefects are also required to assist in school activities."

"The prefect also has a high probability of becoming the president of the student union. Not only will he get extra credits, but he will also be recorded in the honor book of each college."

Speaking of this, Chris glanced at Sean, "But you shouldn't care about this. The honor of being the champion of the four-school friendly competition is much better than this."

"It sounds like the prefect's responsibilities take up a lot of spare time." This is the key point that Sean heard.

"This will indeed take up some spare time. Prefects must also participate in the student union's meetings and activities. While gaining power, they must also fulfill their obligations."

"Do you find it troublesome?" Chris saw Sean's thoughts.

Sean also bluntly said, "A little bit, as you know, I like to be by myself in my spare time."

"Freshmen, first-year students gather here and stand in line." Hagrid shouted from outside the train, holding a kerosene lamp.

Sean and Chris walked to the freshmen's car and reminded the freshmen not to leave anything behind. They opened the door and watched the freshmen get off one by one.

"Oh, Sean, are you okay?" Hagrid greeted Sean enthusiastically as he stepped forward.

"You mean what happened in Egypt? It felt pretty good." Sean smiled.

"We'll talk later. Let's send the new students to the boat first." Hagrid shouted to the prefects behind him, "Prefects, take the new students and gather at the Black Lake."

This class of freshmen is smaller than Sean's class, with 50 students, while Sean's class had 60 students, which is the largest number of students in the past few years.

"Wow, he's so tall. He must be Hagrid. You're Sean Grylls, right? My name is Jonson McMillan." A little boy with tawny hair slicked back said with excited eyes.

"Hello, MacMillan, do you know me?" Sean asked curiously.

Johnson said, "There is a cousin in Hufflepuff named Ernie, and he told me about you."

Sean thought for a moment and realized that Ernie MacMillan seemed to be in the same class as Harry and was one of the twenty-eight pure-blood families.

Sean's unique style is often a topic of discussion among students, including his privileged exemption from classes, participating in a friendly match between four schools in his second year to help Hogwarts win the championship, and petrifying the professor in the first Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

"They all said I should go to Hufflepuff like Ernie, but I think Slytherin is good too." Johnson said.

"Well, if you are sorted into Slytherin, you are welcome." Sean responded in a friendly manner.

A handsome guy walked up not far away and waved to Sean. He was Cedric of Hufflepuff.

"I knew the prefect in Slytherin would be you, and of course, you, Chrissy."

"Speaking of which, when the three of us entered school, we sat in a box." Cedric recalled.

"Yes, and Angelina Johnson from Gryffindor." Chris added.

Each college will elect male and female prefects after they reach fifth grade. The fifth-grade prefects are in charge of freshmen, the sixth-grade prefects are in charge of second-year students, and the seventh-grade prefects are in charge of third- and fourth-year students.

Now Sean and his eight fifth-grade prefects led the freshmen to the Black Lake Ferry, and arranged for all the freshmen to get on the boat before the eight of them left to ride the Yeqi carriage.

"Come on, here it is." Cassius, who was helping Sean hold Jerry, stayed beside the carriage waiting for the two of them.

"Come together, Cedric," Sean said.

On the carriage, Cedric couldn't help but talk to Sean about his experience in Egypt. After all, such an exciting thing might not happen once in a lifetime.

After returning to school, Sean returned to his single dormitory. He first took out the two-year-old flowers and placed them by the window where the sunlight could shine.

Sean placed Jerry on the carpet, fed him a can of beef and warned Jerry.

"I know you understand. You must not touch this flower. If you break it, I will boil the oil in a pot and stew you."

This year's opening dinner was no different from previous years, except that there was an extra student speech. The student representative was Percy Weasley, a seventh-year Gryffindor.

The Gryffindor table was the first to burst into warm applause, and Fred said something bad.

"Oops, Percy's going to stink again."

George laughed and said, "He likes to do these things the most."

When the sorting ceremony began, the freshmen lined up and were called up one by one. What surprised Sean was that the little boy Jonson MacMillan who greeted him at the station before was actually sorted into Slytherin.

This made his cousin Ernie a little disappointed, but Johnson himself was very happy. He quickly walked to the Slytherin table and looked at Sean behind him.

After the meal, the prefects were responsible for taking the new students to the dormitories and arranging their dormitories, but Dumbledore was waving to Sean.

"Cassius, help me bring in new students. I have to go to Dumbledore."

"I'm extremely happy." Cassius had a chance to show his prestige as a senior.

In the principal's room, Snape was also called over, and Dumbledore asked.

"Sean, have you picked all the snakehead berries?"

"Ah, I remember very clearly. There were several fruits on the tree, so I picked four."

Sean was confused as to why Dumbledore mentioned the snakehead fruit again. Did he discover something on Alcatraz Island?
