Chat After the End of Volume 1
I thought I could finish writing at noon, but I found out that once the waves rise, they can't stop rushing...
It's still a day at home, but it feels good.
The reason why I deliberately arrange a day off is because the human brain is very interesting. If I write every day for a month, no matter if I write 1,000 words a day or 6,000 words a day, as long as I treat it as a working day, then my brain will I think working all the time is tiring all the time.
But as long as you give yourself a day off and do nothing for a day, your brain will think that a day of complete rest will eliminate great fatigue.
This is why I am taking a day off.
Of course, this is just the basics.
The new definition of a higher level is to be able to completely relax and rest for a short time.
The definition at a higher level is to jump out of the definition of "rest and work" and re-use a better word so that rest and work do not conflict. This is easier said than done, I tried and failed.
Of course, will continue to try.
Cough cough, don't talk about these, tell a book.
Because there is no ending yet, I can't say too much, I can only say part of it.
one.
The main problem of the first volume is the problem of "the balance between the author's expression and the reader's needs" that I have been thinking about.
In fact, when I first started writing, I hesitated.
First of all, it is clear that everything I wrote in the book is not beyond the scope of writing, that is to say, any way of writing is allowed.
Human beings create and express words not for the purpose of "must follow a certain pattern". If so, art and culture will be dead. Even the novel itself is constantly evolving.
It's just that some are more artistic and some are more reasonable, some are more interesting and some are more boring, some are more ornamental and some are more prosaic.
I know some people will hate some of the methods that keep appearing in the text, some of the long-winded.
As long as there is no threat of cursing, readers have unlimited rights to comment.
But I can't make a conclusion, because I can't consider the problem from a single angle,
Simply speaking from two perspectives.
From the first point of view, from the perspective of some readers, the market and novel techniques, the content is too boring and redundant, which has great shortcomings.
Of course, there must be readers who will like it.
The second angle is, yes, grades and income are important, and viewing and fun are important, but at some point, it is more important to express the intentions of me and the characters in the book in more detail.
In my opinion, the two angles are not opposite to each other, but there are few books that can truly integrate the two.
Even those world famous novels.
The reason is very simple. Whether it is the pursuit of artistry or marketization, there are many words and things that cannot be elaborated. This makes it difficult for the public to understand even the greatest works of art. If it is not understood by the public, it does not affect the value, but affects the function.
What's more, a large number of novels in ancient and modern China and foreign countries have caused disputes due to different interpretations. To put it bluntly, it is impossible for readers to fully understand the author's intention unless the author speaks it directly.
However, I want to make it clear, so there are many places in this book that people feel are not artistic enough, not interesting enough, and not enjoyable enough.
I can't say right or wrong.
If I think it is wrong, it means giving up a direction, giving up the possibility of being better in this direction, and maybe even giving up a future. If the road is narrowed, it may be to close oneself.
I can't think it is right. If I think it is right, it will inevitably form a force that hinders my progress and makes me ignore another angle.
Life is a process of experimentation. I tried it, and after sorting out and summarizing it, I will definitely be able to do better next time.
Therefore, I just define the impact of this writing as "feedback".
In my language system and life system, feedback is very neutral, but its effect is positive, because it is very simple, any feedback can make me improve.
two.
My initial impulse to write this book was to "share", not really to "preach".
When I wrote the end of the first volume, when I wrote "those who lift themselves to a high place, also reserve a distance for falling", I thought over and over for a long time.
This sentence is actually not what I want to express mainly. As far as the novel is concerned, it is dispensable, because enough has been said elsewhere.
However, for me personally, this statement is so important that it makes a cold sweat break down my back.
I have been a confused person since I was a child, and I can even say that I am stupid, yes, I am stupid.
I also said in my testimonial on the shelf that I feel that my brain has only completed development in the past two years.
Look, I have scolded myself like this, without any self-protection, so the above does not say right or wrong, it is not sophistry (manual squint).
I have always been afraid of being overly praised by others.
Because I feel that I am so ordinary, whether it is myself or others, if I am exalted too high, once I fall, it will be very miserable.
So, I recently gave myself a new definition of identity, student.
And the previous definition was lifelong learner, which I think is a little bit arrogant.
Students in their thirties may feel awkward to many people, but when I set myself this position, I suddenly felt very relaxed.
In this way, I can not care about other people's affirmation or negation, and I will not overreact to other people's accusations and attacks, which will inevitably make myself more modest. Anyway, I am a student, so what am I afraid of?
Of course, this is my most recent definition of identity, and I haven't done it well enough, but it has begun to pay off.
So, does a student go "teaching"? Won't.
I'm really just sharing.
But what's even more wonderful is that I originally thought this book was just my personal sharing, but after constructing a preliminary world, I found that the words and deeds of "Su Ye" were beyond my control.
In other words, many places in the book are indeed under my control, but when I write, there are often places that exceed my original expectations.
This world called "The World of the Gods" was not built by me alone, but by me and the characters in it, including the readers.
So, it's not me preaching, or even sharing, it's the characters in the book who, through my hand, reveal themselves more clearly.
I've never been cocky enough to feel like I could "preach".
A few days ago, I discussed with an author friend in the author group, and the two sides had different opinions. Of course, it was just a discussion, not an argument.
He says he doesn't think people can be persuaded.
As a result, my first reaction was that I have been being persuaded, and I am often persuaded by those better theories and thinking.
Or, rather than being persuaded, I accepted a different perspective.
Because I am still a student, I am very rash, sometimes irritable, often make mistakes, and often impulsive. There are many things in the book that need to be improved, please bear with me.
Also, please don’t threaten with votes or unsubscribe by abandoning books in the future, except for joking, of course.
If you have any dissatisfaction, please convince me, or in other words, help me open another angle. (Manual squinting and smirking)
three,
I... As expected, I was just chatting, talking about everything.
After thinking about it, forget it, what about love?
This is very good, neither high nor low, not afraid of falling.
Four.
Always be vigilant against "expensive" and "cheap", and always be vigilant against "respect" and "humble".
Fives.
Some readers have been asking me to push books before, and I also promised to take this opportunity to briefly talk about it.
In fact, the books I have read in the past two years are quite complicated. Some books are actually... not very meaningful, or not suitable for anyone.
For example, I read more than 20 books on speed reading skills in a month. Guess what conclusion I finally came to?
"Completely" fast-reading books are of very low value, and it is especially easy to have the illusion of knowledge that you know, you understand, it turns out to be the same thing, and it turns out to be almost the same, which will make you lose your ability to think deeply.
Any valuable book and content requires repeated reading and repeated thinking.
Of course, low value does not mean useless. Quick reading is especially suitable for book selection, and it is also especially suitable for lazy people, such as me (covering my face) most of the time.
This time, I will recommend the book "Self-management System" that is useful to everyone.
Yes, it is useful for everyone, from children of a few years old to the elderly.
The self-management system, in my opinion, is mainly divided into four parts, emotional management, energy management, time management, and knowledge management.
Knowledge management is the most complicated, and it varies from person to person, so I won't say much about it.
At first, I only paid attention to time management, but I didn't realize the importance of emotional management and energy management until I learned a small judgment method.
List what you have to do, what you want to do, and what you should do, and then write the six items of "ability", "motivation", "emotion", "energy", "time" and "method".
Then judge, for each thing, whether these six factors are occasionally affected or always affected.
It turned out that I was surprised to find that for me, mood and energy turned out to be my constant influence factors, no matter what I do, if these two factors have a huge impact.
Including rest, including play.
At that time, I made a table, which was more intuitive, and then I was shocked.
Abilities, motives, and methods sometimes influence and sometimes do not.
Time is a latitude in a broad sense and theoretically affects both.
So, obviously, emotions, energy and time, are the top priorities.
In fact, these three areas are all very difficult, and I have been slowly struggling... No, it is climbing. There are big pits in any area, but I am climbing in three big pits at the same time.
1. Energy management.
I'm not good at energy management, and I don't read many books. I mainly recommend "Energy Management", authored by "Jim Lore and Tony Schwartz".
A very popular book that explains all aspects of energy management.
Then there is nutrition, all kinds of fitness, energy management does not need to read too many books, continuous exercise is the most important.
For this knowledge, I squatted on the toilet to read Toutiao, and then all kinds of different opinions made me mentally ill.
Anyway, the body comes first, and energy management is basically body management. Especially after my tinnitus, my understanding was deeper.
2. Time management.
After years of development, the time management system has a clear context and a clear direction, but it often absorbs things from other fields, such as goal management and so on.
Three introductory books are mainly recommended.
For the workplace, or those who are involuntary in time, I recommend "Xiaoqiang's Promotion", the author Zou Xiaoqiang, the first person in the field of time management in China, has been deeply involved in the field of time management for many years, and it is also the book with the highest rating in the field of time management. It is easy to understand, just throw all kinds of methods and follow them.
This book is useless, you have to do it. In other words, all the books promoted this time are the same, it is useless to read them, you must follow them.
Freelancers, or those who have a lot of self-control time or management, recommend "Illustrated Single-core Working Method", an artifact, a real artifact. Well, because it's especially for me. This boss is also the author of "Illustrated Pomodoro Technique", both books are worth reading.
There is also a book called "Just Do It", which is also written by Zou Xiaoqiang. It is mainly about formulating annual plans. The many specific methods in it are very good. I have used the "Habit Cultivation Card" for two or three years, and I am still using it consistently.
In addition to these three, there are many other books.
There is also "A Strange Life", which tells the miraculous experience of the time record master Lyubishev, the real master, the author is "Granin", and the accompanying guide book is very important.
I used the method in it to record time for half a month, um... um... The result is that I finally see how confused I am. After reading this book and recording time for half a month, I feel that my life is clear.
This book allows me to clearly see how big the gap between myself and outstanding people is, and the intuitive gap of data is really, really cool.
Of course, there's also the time-management classic Get GTD Done and the more famous 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
The latter is a book that I particularly admire, but this book...is not a technique, it is close to a kind of "Tao". introduce.
Some books in the field of time management or similar fields, such as "Eat That Frog", "Time Investment Law", "The Miracle of Morning Diary", "The Psychology of Procrastination", etc., are all very good. You can search online for more, in fact, there are many.
3. Emotional management.
This is the biggest pit in the three major areas.
In this field, there are actually many classifications and more complicated systems. It is far beyond the first two, because it is basically neurology and psychology, which is very tiring to learn and particularly difficult to use.
There are too many books in this field, and I am not a professional myself, so I dare not say anything good. I only come up with books that I have read and "really effective".
First recommend an introductory book "Efficient Anti-Stress Actions" by "Hendry Weisinger" and "JP Paulie Frey".
Easy to understand, many specific methods, mixed with scientific explanations.
If you want to know more about emotional management, I suggest reading two books.
One is "Emotions", authored by "Lisa Feldman Barrett", a fairly thick book, which is a relatively new research result, and puts forward an "emotional construction theory" that completely subverts my old cognition.
One is Change: Principles of Problem Formation and Solution. It will be easier to understand after reading the above book.
The above three books are mainly based on psychology and supplemented by neurology. It should be regarded as "the most scientific category of emotional management books".
The concept of "definition" in this book is basically born out of these two books.
Of course, it would be better if I could read "Cognitive Psychology" first, but I haven't even read this book, and I'm only planning to read it, so I won't brag about it, haha.
After reading these three books, it is strongly recommended to take a look at "DK Mindfulness", examine the ancient meditation from the perspective of neurology and psychology, and you will find something particularly interesting.
These books are all impressive to me. There are also some books that have either been lightly read quickly, or read other people’s mind map reading notes, or simply listen to books or share them, so I don’t recommend them. .
There are many such books, as long as you search for them, you will definitely find them.
By the way, there is a concept of emotional management that I think is particularly important called "habitual defense", which can be found directly by searching online. The first time I encountered this term was Cheng Jia's "Study Hard". I read the relevant content many times, and then encountered many things before I understood the concept. Finally, I continued to use it to gradually manage my emotions.
4. Finally.
Finally, I solemnly recommend "This is Enough to Study", a masterpiece by Mr. Zhao Zhou. Also recommended before.
What I didn't finish last time is that this book is useless just by reading it. There is an RIA reading method in it, which needs to be used continuously to be useful.
And I can't use it well by myself, so I need to join a reading club called "Open Book Gang" for continuous learning and practice. But this reading club tends to be...the older and middle-aged and hard-working young people, hahahaha...it's not self-deprecating.
Look for it yourself, look for branches of the Book Opening Gang in various places. However, this was originally an offline reading club, and now the epidemic... so it's not the right time. If you are willing to learn, you can search online, because this is a loose organization in various places, and people from different places are suitable for joining in different cities, and some There are no small cities, so I really can't introduce them.
Basically, it's a hands-on manual for that very famous book called Deliberate Practice.
I……
It's 11pm and I'm a little dazed, and it's ample evidence that my time management and energy management still need to improve.
In fact, there are many things to recommend, but I am really confused, so I won’t say more.
I looked at the number of words, more than 5,000, plus yesterday's addition, I don't seem to be taking a break today, there are a lot of words, miserable...
By the way, for books on learning and growth, in addition to "Reading This Way Is Enough", I recommend two more books.
One is the famous "Deliberate Practice". If you don't have the relevant knowledge, you will read this book as a story. It is hard to believe all kinds of counterintuitive and common sense, but if you have the knowledge foundation of the three previous books on emotional management If you read it, or understand psychology, you will find that this book is amazing.
This book should really be read by every child, so as to know how ability is acquired from an early age. No, I will buy more sets and give them to my nephews and nieces...
Then there is "How to Learn" by "Barbara Oakley".
There are many other books, so I won’t talk about them.
In addition, all the books promoted this time have one thing in common, they must be constantly used to explain their behavior, and they must be used continuously, otherwise they are useless.
.
This is a forever young student named Lao Huo sharing books!
.
Regardless of whether you have finished reading it or not, since you have seen this, if you have a monthly pass, please order a monthly pass, and if you do not have a monthly pass, please order a recommended pass! ! !
sleep, good night.
