Chapter 170 Show You a Baby

"Disillusionment is invisible."

Maca took out his wand and waved it, and then gradually blurred in Harry's sight, blended with the surrounding environment, and disappeared in front of him.

"Hmm..." Harry blinked, and was about to ask what kind of spell it was, but suddenly he said as if remembering something, "Hagrid, listen to me, I can't stay for a long time... ...I must be back at the castle at one o'clock—"

But Hagrid didn't listen. He opened the cabin door and strode into the darkness. Harry hurried after, to his great surprise to find that Hagrid was leading him towards Beauxbaton's carriage.

"Hagrid, what are you—"

"Shh!" said Hagrid, and knocked three times on the door with two crossed golden wands printed on it.

Madame Maxime opened the door. A silk shawl was wrapped around her immensely broad shoulders. When she saw Hagrid, she couldn't hide the surprised look on her face, and her eyes were blurred under the effect of Maca's special "perfume".

"Oh—you're—Mr. Hagrid?"

"Good evening." Hagrid looked at her with a smile, and at the same time held out a hand to help her down the golden steps.

Madame Maxime turned back and closed the door of the carriage, Hagrid gave her his arm, and the two walked together around the edge of the makeshift paddock, where Madame Maxime's huge winged horses were kept.

Harry was at a loss. He looked left and right, but he couldn't find Maca anywhere. In desperation, he could only trot in a daze to keep up with their pace.

Could it be that Madame Maxime was what Hagrid wanted to show him? He can see her anytime... She is so big, it's hard to be ignored by outsiders...

"Hagrid, where are you taking me?" Madame Maxime suddenly said jokingly.

"Oh——Hoho, I'm going to show you a baby! Believe me, you'll like it," Hagrid rubbed his hands subconsciously, and said softly, "They're big and strong, very charming! But— —don’t tell anyone I brought you here, okay? You shouldn’t know.”

"Really..." Madame Maxime's long black eyelashes fluttered. She looked at Hagrid and said, "Of course...Of course I won't say it."

She nodded thoughtfully, and then asked curiously: "Hagrid, what perfume do you use? It smells so intoxicating...Let me guess, it's a new product from Italy's Paolo Wizard series." ?"

Hagrid heard the question,

Immediately came the spirit. Just now, Maca taught him many useful words, including these.

Although Mrs. Maxime is tall and unusual, she is a very typical French woman. There is also an extraordinary obsession with clothing, fragrances and cosmetics.

If you want to gain her favor, it is naturally a convenient and effective choice to do what you like.

"Oh—actually, you can come up with a nice name for it," Hagrid said gracefully, flipping the ends of his hair that had become extremely soft, "because it was personally prepared by my personal image consultant, and it's still in stock right now. There is no official name!"

His movements looked a little stiff, after all, he didn't usually do this kind of movements.

"This... is it really possible?" Madam Maxim exclaimed, "A personal and exclusive perfume brand, this is really wonderful...I have to think about it..."

Hagrid accompanied Madame Maxime for a walk in the moonlight. This kind of beauty almost made him forget about Harry behind him.

They were still walking, with long legs and long strides, and Harry had to trot behind, checking his watch from time to time, feeling more and more anxious.

Hagrid had a sloppy plan in mind, and it was likely to cause him to miss his meeting with Sirius. If they didn't get there soon enough, he was ready to turn around and head straight back to the castle.

Gradually, they had walked so far around the edge of the Forbidden Forest that the castle and lake were out of sight.

But at this moment, Harry heard something. Several men shouted loudly in front, and then there was a deafening roar...

Hagrid led Madame Maxime around a bush and stopped.

Harry hurried over and stood with them. For a brief moment, he thought he saw several campfires, around which men were jumping around!

But then, he opened his mouth wide in surprise.

That's a fire dragon! Lots of dragons!

Harry counted that there were eight full-grown, very vicious-looking dragons imprisoned in a yard surrounded by planks. They stood on their hind legs, roaring and snorting.

Clouds of flame shot out into the dark night sky from their open, tusked mouths, their necks so high that their mouths were nearly fifty feet above the ground.

There are at least sixty wizards on the field, and every seven or eight wizards are responsible for dealing with one fire dragon.

They tried desperately to subdue the eight dragons, tugging on the chains that connected the big thick leather straps that held the dragon's legs to the dragon's neck. Beside Harry, who was already stunned by this scene, Maca, who was also in an invisible state, was looking at them calmly.

"Dumbledore is a little bit desperate this time—eight fire dragons, this scene will never be small." He thought to himself, "Next, we will see what Voldemort will do."

At this moment in the arena, the wizards tried their best to hold on to the iron chains in their hands tightly.

"Stay there, Hagrid!" yelled one of the wizards near the fence, clutching the chain in his hand. "They spout fire twenty feet, you know! I saw this tree Bees sprayed over forty feet!"

"It's beautiful!" said Hagrid softly.

"It's useless to pull it like this, it's moving too much!" Another wizard shouted, "Say the Stunning Charm, count to three, and say it together!"

So each dragon tamer drew his own wand.

"Stunning!" they shouted in unison, and the Stunning Charms shot like rockets into the dark night sky, and showers of sparks fell on the thick scaly hides of the eight dragons.

All of a sudden, the fire dragons stood staggeringly on their hind legs, with their mouths wide open, roaring silently. The flames in the nostrils were suddenly extinguished, but blue smoke was still rising.

Then, very slowly, they fell one after the other.

The fire dragon fell to the ground with a bang, shaking the trees behind him. It is conceivable that these big guys must weigh several tons.

The dragon tamer put down his wand and walked towards the dragons lying on the ground, each dragon was like a hill. Hastily they fastened the chains, fastened them securely to the iron posts, and with their wands drove the iron posts deep into the ground.

"Want to take a closer look?" Hagrid could no longer maintain his gentlemanly demeanor, and he was asking Madame Maxime excitedly at this moment.

Together they walked towards the fence, Maca and Harry following. The wizard who had warned Hagrid not to approach turned around, and they recognized it immediately. It was one of Ron's brothers, Charlie Weasley.

"How is it, Hagrid?" He walked over panting, but was immediately taken aback by Hagrid's current appearance, "Oh, Merlin's jaw... what are you dressed like?"

"What kind of species do you have here, Charlie?" Hagrid didn't bother to answer this question, he stared at the nearest black dragon with an almost adoring look in his eyes.

The black dragon's eyes were still slightly open, and a thin yellow light could even be seen shining under its wrinkled black eyelids.

"This is the Hungarian Horntail," Charlie introduced. "In fact, there are two common Welsh Green Dragons, two Swedish Short-Snouted Dragons, a Chinese Fireball, two Hungarian Horntails, and a Ukrainian Ironbelly."

Charlie looked around. Mrs. Maxim was strolling along the field, carefully watching the eight stunned fire dragons.

"I didn't expect you to bring her, Hagrid," said Charlie, frowning. "A warrior shouldn't know what he's up against—she'd tell her students, wouldn't she?" ?”

"I just think she'd love to come and see." Hagrid shrugged, still staring at the dragon fascinatedly.

"What a romantic date, Hagrid," said Charlie, shaking his head resignedly.

"Eight..." said Hagrid. "Two for every warrior? Are they supposed to fight dragons?"

"Actually, we don't know too well," Charlie said shaking his head, "but it shouldn't be possible for the warrior to fight with two fire dragons. It's too dangerous...and it's absolutely impossible to win."

He thought for a while, then asked again, "How is Harry?"

"It's okay." Hagrid replied dreamily, still staring at the dragons intently.

"I hope he's still safe and sound after facing this danger." Charlie said thoughtfully, looking over at the arena where the dragons were kept, "I'm afraid to tell mother what Harry is going to do in the first project. Mom is already flustered about him..."

Charlie imitated his mother's anxious voice: "How could they let him participate in that competition, he was too young! I thought they would be all right, I thought there would be a age limit!"

"I still remember, after the article about Harry in the Daily Prophet was published, my mother was so excited and said, 'Oh, little Harry has a little girlfriend, which is really touching'."

But Hagrid just moaned and whimpered, his attention being sucked away by the dragons.

Harry felt he couldn't stay any longer.

He believed that Hagrid's heart was already filled with the charming Eight Dragons and Madame Maxime, and he would not miss himself anymore. So he turned quietly, and started back to the castle.

On the other end, Maca was squatting next to the big head of a Chinese Fireball. He stared at its lion-like face in a daze, not knowing what he was thinking.
