Complete Remarks
It's finished!
When I finished writing the extra chapter yesterday, I suddenly felt like I had let down a heavy burden.
No matter what, I finally lived up to everyone's expectations and presented the story that was envisioned in the initial outline in a relatively complete way (well, I think all the holes that can be thought of should be filled, except for some weird ones, such as degradable stones...)

Thanks to the editor-in-chief, Biscuit, and editor Kaguya (the first editor who brought me to Qidian, but unfortunately Kaguya left)
Thanks to Biscuit and Night Snack Editor for getting the recommendation for the book in the end.
Thank you to the operation officer Aqiang, thank you to the four leaders of this book, Black Eyes, Bookworm Loves Chocolate, Book Friend 20230111205824753, Lazy Sheep, and thank you to all the book friends who have accompanied me along the way.
From the publication of the book on June 24, 22 to the completion on April 20, 24, it took nearly two years, 3.08 million words, an average of 4,700 words per day, which seems not too little, but in fact, the stage with more updates is mainly concentrated in the early stage, and the later updates are very lame, basically 4,000 words per day, and there will be a fixed "time cycle" break once or twice a month.
I feel very sorry for the readers who have been following the updates. I can feel the pain of following the reading myself, so when I have the opportunity later, I will try my best to persuade book friends to keep reading, and I never dare to ask for monthly tickets. I really thank everyone for their tolerance and support. The useless author bows to everyone!
Then talk about the book itself.
Let's report the results first. When this book was first published, the results were very bleak. At that time, "text games" and "text adventures" were not hot words. This strange title of the book was almost not of interest to the readers of Qidian. There were single-digit collections every day, so that there were only less than 200 collections after writing 100,000 words, which can be said to be terrible.
But even at that time, I never thought of quitting the book. One reason was that I didn't have much financial pressure at the time. I wrote this book more out of interest. I thought that no matter whether anyone would read it or not, I would just finish the book first. Another reason was that I thought that although there were some flaws in the early content, the basic framework and rhythm should be fine.
When it was 100,000 words, it was finally put on the test for the first time. The collection suddenly exploded. It was promoted all the way through four rounds of PK and finally rushed to Sanjiang. The first order was 3,100 when it was put on the shelves. The high order in the final stage was 67,000, and the average order was 17,000. As the first book of a newcomer on Qidian, I dare not expect more in terms of performance. More importantly, I have completed a long novel.
From crossing the river by feeling the stones in the early stage, to experiencing ups and downs in the process, after the book was truly completed, looking back, many things have many new insights.
If I were to rewrite it now, I would definitely handle some of the rhythm and details better, but it might also become more routine, and it might lose the original unrestrained and free-spirited spirit of being able to do anything at will. Who knows? It is impossible to do it again...
Speaking of the book, I am more Buddhist in terms of achievements and updates, but I am actually a little ambitious in terms of the content itself.
The appearance of Mu Ling at the end, the four abilities inherited by her daughter, and the light group civilization that appeared at the end are actually hooks for future works.
In the original expectation, the stone plates flying to tens of millions of planets are not all of the same type, but are divided into many strange types, representing completely different worldviews.
And the "gu" cultivated by these worldviews through species reincarnation will eventually gather in that advanced civilization, thus constructing a larger and more complete independent universe... (Of course, it is just a possibility, and there is actually no word yet. It is just that if there is a chance in the future, I will work hard in this direction)

Then let's talk about the new book.
The new book will still be a high-level urban martial arts type, and this time it is a story about "mirrors".
The outline of the new book has actually been prepared in a scattered manner at the end of the book. At present, there is a rough skeleton, but there are still many details to be filled in.
Anyway, writing a book is really exhausting now. Next, I should give myself a month off. This month is not only a process of rest, but also a process of sweeping the list and learning to enrich myself.
Then I will start to seriously design the new book, fill in the world view background, set details, character details, plot arrangement... There is a lot of work to do.
I am the type who thinks about the ending from the first chapter, and then reverses from the ending to the beginning step by step, so that the whole story will not feel fragmented. There may be some seemingly inexplicable content in the middle of the story, but in the end it can make readers suddenly realize and feel that this is a complete story.
Then there are manuscripts, a lot of manuscripts. Now the update of Qidian is becoming more and more important. My daily output is definitely not enough, and I can only rely on manuscripts to make up for it. It is expected that at least 200,000 to 300,000 manuscripts will be saved before the book is published. The more manuscripts I save, the more confident I feel.
Adding up all these scattered things, I estimate that the actual release of the book will not be until August. It seems like a long time, but the time is actually quite tight for me. In early August, whether it is ready or not, I will definitely release a single chapter to explain the situation, or it may be earlier. If possible, everyone can keep the book on the bookshelf for a while.

There are always various shortcomings in reality, at least in the story, everything should be as perfect as possible, leaving no regrets, so Mu You's ending is perfect. He fulfilled his destiny, retired successfully, and had a wife and daughter. He is doing his favorite career, with his best friends by his side and his beloved in front of him.
In short, Mu You's story is about to come to an end here.
A short separation is for a better encounter, and a new story is quietly setting sail. I wish you all a smooth journey during this journey, and you will still be a young man when you return. (End of this chapter)
