Chapter 341 The Disappearing Time
Even in the ghost's pearly white state, Helena's snow-like skin could be seen in life. However, unlike her mother Ravenclaw, Helena's beauty always had a hint of alienation.
"I haven't seen you much recently." Sean sat down next to Helena very familiarly.
Helena, who was floating in the air, glanced at the handsome young man beside her and sighed slightly: "We are separated by the world."
Sean smiled slightly: "I met Ms. Ravenclaw."
Helena subconsciously replied: "She has been watching the newcomers in Hogwarts..."
At this point, she suddenly paused, and then looked at Sean hesitantly.
The handsome and considerate boy in front of her has always been sincere to people, including her as a ghost, so after getting familiar with him, Helena also knew that there seemed to be many magical things about Sean.
Sean didn't show off, but took out a portrait.
Above the portrait are two women, one tall and one short. The older one is beautiful and majestic, while the younger one is as calm as her mother, but her face has more pride and vitality.
Helena was stunned on the spot, and sighed after a moment.
"Did you find this too?"
The stunned person was Sean.
In his expectation, Helena might be sad, in pain, or hysterical, but she naturally felt regret and unwillingness in her heart.
Then, he can take Helena to Ravenclaw's secret room. Sean believes that Rowena Ravenclaw is likely to leave something for her immature but unfortunately dead daughter.
Finally, he used his face and mouth, which are very useful when facing girls, to untie Helena's knot.
Of course, regardless of whether he can get the crown or not, Sean is still willing to do something for Helena. The ghost has helped him many times before.
However, these were all previews in Sean's own mind, and the word "ye" in Helena's mouth gave him a blow.
He was not the first person to enter the Ravenclaw Chamber of Secrets, and the person who entered before him also found Helena based on certain clues...
This was not the first time Helena saw this portrait of her and her mother Ravenclaw...
"Ma'am, have you seen this?" Sean tried to look calmer.
A long-lost smile appeared on Helena's calm and indifferent face: "Yes, I have seen it. Sean, you are very smart. You found the secret left by your mother."
"However, someone has come to me with this portrait before - Sean, I am very grateful to you. I know you want to untie the knot in my heart. However, I have looked away now, and I have also obtained Mother’s forgiveness. However, I still want to thank you.”
Helena's plain words made Sean feel a little embarrassed. He took a deep breath and finally laughed.
"Congratulations, ma'am."
"Thank you, my friend." Helena could hear the sincerity in Sean's words. She lifted up the hem of her transparent skirt and gave a slight greeting.
"Um, Helena, please excuse me, I want to know who showed you this painting." Sean asked.
Helena shook her head: "Just like I would keep a secret for you, I would keep a secret for that person."
"I'm sorry, I was abrupt." Sean apologized.
Helena tilted her head curiously: "Did you just find this?"
Sean hesitated, and finally decided to tell the truth: "Yes, I just recently discovered the secret left by Ms. Ravenclan, and I found this among the things she left. I think you may need it, so I’m coming to find you.”
"You're such a thoughtful guy, Sean."
Sean smiled bitterly and shook his head: "To be honest, I don't think it's good to lie to you - part of it is wanting to help you untie your knot, and the other part is my selfishness, I want to find the crown of Ravenclaw. "
Helena was not angry. She smiled calmly: "It's understandable that after knowing each other for so long, you do maintain great enthusiasm for these unknown things."
"Um, so, ma'am, can you help me?" Sean said a little embarrassed.
"Actually, I do know where the crown is," Helena's plain voice made Sean feel something was wrong, "It's just that it has probably been taken away by someone now."
Sure enough, that man found Helena first and took the crown first.
However, there is good news - that person is most likely not Voldemort.
If Voldemort knew he could control Hogwarts, he would never transfer to Nurmengard.
Sean glanced at Helena, knowing that it seemed unrealistic to ask the other person's specific identity, so he could only sigh.
"But don't you need this portrait?" Sean finally asked.
Helena showed some doubts: "Of course - but the person told me that this is something left by my mother, so I can't always take it out."
Sure enough, that man had obtained the same permissions as himself in the Room of Requirement...
Sean nodded: "That's true. You can't leave it outside all the time. You need to return it when the time is up - but I can help you make a copy of this portrait and put it where you want."
"Is it really possible?" Helena finally became excited.
"Of course. I'm not sure whether it can be converted into a moving photo, but copying the image is very simple." Sean nodded seriously.
Helena floated and spun twice in the air with some joy. The knot in her heart had been untied. However, if she could get such a photo and see it all the time, that would be something worth celebrating.
After a moment of joy, she finally tilted her head and said, "But you shouldn't have to worry about the crown."
"Why do you say that?" This time it was Sean's turn to be confused.
"Because the new owner of the crown has no ill will towards you, and even...well, how should I put it...the crown may still fall on your head."
"Huh?" Sean didn't understand.
What Helena means is, that person is looking for a crown for himself?
Probably seeing his doubts, Helena explained: "If I guessed correctly, that person does want to do something for you - your guess is correct. However, you can only wait for that person to come to you on his own. You, you will understand."
"What can you do for me?" Sean was lost in thought.
If you want to help me, you must at least know me. However, as far as he knows, none of his friends should be able to find the crown in advance, and they should not hide it from him.
Could it be Grindelwald or Dumbledore? It doesn't quite look like it...
While thinking about it, Sean shivered.
He and Helena both looked up, then looked at each other in confusion.
Just now, Sean felt an indescribable wave. No, using fluctuation is not appropriate. It is an inexplicable feeling.
It's like a person's sixth sense suddenly detects some strange existence, and Sean is sure that he is not the only wizard who can feel this fluctuation.
"You feel it too?" Sean reacted and looked at Helena in shock.
Ghosts are special existences. Currently, except for the soul magic developed by Voldemort and the gaze of the basilisk, Sean does not know of anything that can affect ghosts.
And Helena had obviously made the same move as herself just now.
Helena also looked puzzled: "Yes, I can't explain that feeling... How can I feel it like you..."
"Have you ever experienced anything like this before?" Sean asked.
"No..." As she said that, Helena was suddenly shocked, "This, I think I heard my mother say..."
"What is it?"
Helena floated up and looked into the distance, with confusion and worry in her eyes: "She said that time will give preferential treatment to some people..."
Does time favor some people? Sean frowned.
"Has Ms. Ravenclaw ever explained what that meant?" he asked.
Helena shook her head: "No, I just remember that it was my mother who sighed like this when she was studying a magic spell. She just said at the time that there was a strange wave that would spread throughout the world and everyone could sense it. Time will give preferential treatment to some people...but this may mean some kind of change and division."
Some kind of change and division? Sean took a deep breath, he always had a bad feeling.
After returning to the castle, just as Helena said, everyone felt the strangeness. However, even the professors couldn't tell what it was.
In the corridor, students gathered in a noisy crowd, and Fred vowed there: "I bet this must be the heartbeat of the wizard god!"
"No, no, it feels more like a heavy breath!"
"Why do I feel like a pair of eyes opened in the sky?"
No one has experienced it, and no one has heard of it. The students expressed their opinions and described their feelings.
However, no one can accurately describe that feeling, but everyone knows that they feel the same.
If Sean hadn't felt that there was nothing strange about him, he would have even thought that something was wrong with the guilt in his body.
In the corner, Hermione was flipping through the book quickly, muttering quickly as she flipped through: "There are no records! There are no relevant descriptions! I only found information about some of the world's phenomena that have appeared before, but they are all correct. Not on."
"Perhaps only the Department of Mysteries of the Ministry of Magic will have records, or people like Professor Dumbledore know what's going on." From the side, Percy appeared out of nowhere, holding a large cup in his hand. A pile of weird rhombus crystals.
"After you join the Ministry of Magic, remember to come back and tell me the answer." Sean teased, knowing that Percy had already begun to prepare for joining the Ministry of Magic.
Percy puffed up his chest: "If it's possible - but, I am an interview clerk, and these secrets may only be known to those who are silent."
"Oh my god, you actually said 'it's possible'? Are you really prepared to find out such secrets for Sean? Come on, you weren't even willing to conceal your brother's whereabouts yesterday." George, who was leaning against the wall, became very angry. stand up.
Percy glared at him: "Don't violate school rules under my nose! Besides, Sean is a person who knows his priorities, aren't you?"
"But I am your biological brother! I even saved your life!"
"So I didn't tell Filch about the big shit egg you threw in the corridor, but I told Professor McGonagall."
"Is there a difference?!"
Sean smiled and stopped the quarrel between the two brothers. He looked at the rhombus crystal in the other's hand and asked casually: "What is this?"
Percy's attitude towards Sean has always been very good. He explained: "Oh, you can't use it now. After all, they are all jointly taught. At the beginning, several courses I took had conflicting schedules, so I could only use this method. The phonographic crystal records the professors' lectures, and then I study by myself in the evening. I no longer need them, so Professor McGonagall asked me to send these things to the storage room."
Phonographic crystal? Sean nodded suddenly, he knew this too. However, the sound quality retained by the phonographic crystal is very poor, but for learning, it is enough to hear clearly.
"Eh-" Sean suddenly thought of something, "Percy, did you all use this for tutoring?"
"Yes, what's wrong?" Percy asked.
"I mean, uh, isn't there anything else that would allow you to take two classes at the same time?" Sean asked.
Percy looked at him doubtfully: "How can there be such a thing? I can't clone myself."
Percy didn't teach with a time turner...
Sean and Percy are also very familiar with each other. The other party obviously didn't lie to him, and judging from his appearance, he didn't seem to have heard of a time turner.
This is a bit strange... Could it be that the time turner has a problem because of the changes in the world line?
Sean misses Barty Crouch Jr. especially now. He has no news from him, and he can no longer get the information he wants from the Ministry of Magic.
Hey, apart from that guy's abnormal brain circuitry and cruel personality, this absolutely loyal subordinate is indeed an excellent spy.
However, this was just a thought. Sean now seriously suspected that Barty Jr. had been controlled by someone, which made him afraid to contact the other party rashly.
The strange fluctuations that everyone felt in the afternoon did not seem to cause any strange accidents, at least when they returned to the lounge after dinner, the sky was still dark and the bonfire was still burning.
As the night grew darker, Sean lay back on the bed. He reviewed his recent plans in his mind, and then fell asleep peacefully.
…
"Well..." On the bed, Sean yawned and opened his eyes.
His biological clock is quite regular, so he usually gets up first to wake up his roommates.
Sean stretched and looked out the window. It was still dark outside.
"It's probably going to be another rainy day today..." Sean muttered, and then looked at his watch out of habit.
It should be around half past seven... However, the numbers on the dial made Sean frown.
Three forty-five.
what happened? Did the watch break when I left it in the Room of Requirement?
Sean was about to adjust the time, but the date in the center of the dial stopped him.
October 28th.
However, yesterday was obviously the 26th... Today is the 27th...
Is the watch really broken?
Sean senses something is wrong and wakes up Dave, who is more sensitive to time.
"Dave, how long have you been asleep?"
"I must have slept for three hours... Hey, I feel weird... Why do I feel that yesterday... is wrong? It should be a day between yesterday and today. It seems that there is not enough time?" Dave said. Got doubtful thoughts.
Sean's eyes widened.
Not enough time on October 27th? !
