Chapter 368 Storm Altar (Part 2)

As always, Gul'dan wasn't entirely sure, though he thought it would be a success.

But as an evil warlock with a supremely inquiring spirit, there is nothing he cannot sacrifice. Besides, Gul'dan fully believed that if he failed, he would survive unscathed.

"let's start!"

He nodded to Cho'gall, who yelled at the assembled ogres.

This is recruiting guinea pigs.

After some jostling (actually, fighting) and grunting and cursing, the weakest of the ogres stepped forward.

Of course, no matter how thin this guy is among the ogres, he still has several times the weight of a human and twice the height.

Cho'gall barked orders at the ogre, who shrugged his shoulders and walked into the clearing among the stones with a look of heroism.

He stood in the middle of the pentagram and waited, motionless.

One advantage ogres have is that they stand firm when asked. If not for another order or to find food, an ogre can stand there for hours, motionless as a marble statue.

Gul'dan often felt that these guys evolved from stone. This can also explain their thick skin that can easily withstand swords and their ridiculously low intelligence.

If Gul'dan ordered them to "go forward", they would first spend a few seconds thinking about the monsters, perhaps recalling the delicacy of humans they ate last night, drooling, and then find a random direction to move forward, killing the monsters on the way. Everything that is not pleasing to the eye, sometimes even includes one's own kind or theoretical master.

Given the choice, Gul'dan would never order these idiots past Cho'gall.

With Choogall here, at least these idiots will be walking in the right direction, and they don't have to worry about hurting their own people. Of course, productivity is still a mystery. Sometimes they can contemplate life while being stabbed in the thigh with a knife.

Only when the two-headed ogre is around, their combat efficiency will reach a qualified level.

Gul'dan's thoughts returned to his eyes, and he raised his arms, and began to resonate the dark energy given to him by Kil'jaeden, the deputy leader of the Burning Legion when he was in Draenor.

The evil power tore apart the plane, crossed the space, and poured it into Gul'dan. As a medium, he immediately divided it into five parts, sent it to the soul crystals on the chests of the five warlocks, and finally poured it into the soul crystals in front of them. Right on the runestone.

The smell of stench, decay, and depravity is eroding the arcane power derived from nature.

It doesn't come for free.

The source of nature instinctively resists corrosion and invasion. A bright radiance erupted from the depths of the earth and directly transmitted to the rune stone. The energy visible to the naked eye violently backlashed at the five warlocks who were trying to contaminate the rune stone.

The force of the counterattack was so violent that the head of the skeleton staff of the warlock who was standing due south on the spot cracked. Less than half a second after the stench and filthy breath of death blew out, the power of the earth seemed to find an outlet, and rushed towards the warlock abruptly.

"Woo—" The unlucky ghosts with insufficient strength are always the first to suffer.

The natural force rushed into that guy's body like a raging wave. It can be seen that unknown plants like small grass sprouts grow out of every pore on his arms.

"Trash!" Gul'dan spat.

Without his reminding, Choogall snatched away the doomed warlock and filled the position by himself.

Three seconds later, Gul'dan had to do the same thing as the two-headed ogre.

This helpless feeling of having to play in person made Gul'dan unhappy.

Fortunately, the only three remaining guys were obviously a bit taller than the two dead ghosts just now. Now, each of the five mages chose the stone in front of them to be infused with dark energy.

When all the rune threads on all five runestones were filled with black light and vibrated, Gul'dan concentrated on a short incantation.

Every note in the evil spell contained a forbidden bloody meaning, which made Orgrim, who was watching, very uncomfortable. The great chief frowned, but unfortunately he had no choice, the shaman was not good at breaking the enemy's magic defense, and Zuluhed, the only strong shaman under him, was obviously more than two ranks lower than Gul'dan.

More dark energy traced along Gul'dan's wrinkled skin, arcing from the scarlet fingertips into his runestone.

But this time, this energy is no longer simply injected.

The overflowing demonic aura turned into a black comet, passed through the far stone in front of him at high speed, and then jumped towards the nearest stone on his right. The demon's power didn't stop there, it continued to the near left, then to the far right, and finally returned to the stone in front of him.

A glowing pentagram connected all five stones, and where the black comet passed by, countless complicated spells emerged on the land that was rapidly scorching black and without a trace of life.

The next moment, the sky above the entire altar suddenly darkened, and the huge energy corroded by the darkness suddenly rushed up to a thousand meters high, and then exploded at high altitude.

Soon a strange storm appeared in the sky, which was composed of a clockwise tornado of white light and a counterclockwise tornado of black dark light. This storm stretched straight from the ground to a height of several kilometers, and could be clearly seen even hundreds of miles away.

This terrifying storm shocked the entire area, all the high elves who were fighting fiercely with the trolls.

The ogre in the pentagram was still standing there like a stone statue, although Gul'dan had already seen clear fear in that guy's eyes.

Unfortunately, he was facing Cho'gall.

A natural two-headed ogre, the absolute ruler of ogres.

No matter how frightened he is, even if Gugall wants him to die, he must obey.

"Very good, Cho'gall chose a good guy." Gul'dan grinned wickedly.

The power of the earth caused the resonance of the sky.

The power on the enchanted rune stone was finally guided by Gul'dan to the middle of them——the ogre standing there, obviously not trembling, but shaking in his heart.

A black halo surrounded him.

It starts with one lap, then countless laps.

The black energy seemed to be substantial, pouring on the ogre, pouring more and more, and finally turned into a huge black sphere. And the entire ogre was swallowed by this opaque ball of darkness.

The immeasurable dark energy turned into a black storm, drilling into the ogre's body from every pore, every hole.

"Ahhhhhh—" the ogre finally couldn't help but let out a scream.

After a while, the screams doubled, because two heads screamed at the same time.
