Finally Alive

My regular readers should all know this.

I ran out to type again just because my son was born.

It is not easy to raise a child. I simply couldn’t do it with the job I had before that kept me hungry and fed me.

Unfortunately, in 2017, as my son grew up, he became more and more lively and noisy.

In fact, in the first half of this year, I proposed to rent a small house as a studio and code quietly by myself.

But the stubbornness of some elderly people is beyond imagination, just like some elderly people who still refuse to use Alipay or WeChat red envelopes.

"Can't you just write it at home?"

"Your son won't be noisy all day long."

"What are you doing with that wasted money?"

He says he won't be noisy all day long, but he is very loud. When he gets excited, he croaks at 100 decibels. I was interrupted once by him and couldn't catch my train of thought for a long time.

I communicated with my family for a long time, and even argued, but to no avail.

I originally thought it would be better to go to kindergarten, but who knew that the small class in kindergarten is just like a nursery. I go there at nine o'clock in the morning and have to get out and come back at three o'clock in the afternoon. Then he continued to cause trouble...

In the intervening few hours, I basically use it to catch up on my sleep in the morning (if the baby hits me at night, I won’t be able to sleep well), otherwise it will be like a ghost, floating around.

Anyway, I haven't been able to do more coding in the past few months, and my wife has been lecturing me all day long that I don't care.

It wasn't until recently that my mother-in-law finally started to be unable to take care of my son, and she had to leave it to my mother, who had been a middle school teacher before retiring, to take care of him more, and things turned around.

Seeing my dwindling income from manuscript royalties, the old people on both sides finally panicked and asked me to rent a small, quiet house as a coding room.

It’s probably December 4th now. Once all the messy furniture in the studio is ready, my output should increase.

In the future, the output will be higher from Monday to Friday, but don’t think too much about Saturdays and Sundays, which are basically family days.

The specific number of daily updates... Of course I want to return to daily updates, but I have slapped myself in the face too much and I dare not promise too much. Promising and failing to do so will hurt everyone's heart even more.
