I Have 48 Hours a Day

Final Words

I originally planned to write this thing yesterday, because the main text and the extra story were both finished yesterday.

But I finished writing the extra chapter very late yesterday. My procrastination broke out, so I put it off for another day and didn’t start writing until today.

Although it is a bit cliché, I still want to thank everyone for accompanying me along the way, because it is because of your book that I can get all the way to where I am now.

To be honest, when I typed the first word on the keyboard, I just wanted to write a story with less than two million words. However, I didn’t expect that by the time I finished the book, the number of words would have exceeded three million.

Without your continued subscriptions and votes, I don’t think I would have been able to get this far.

Running a series is sometimes like running a marathon, especially in the second half of the race, when it is often the easiest time to feel tired.

The creators of Infinite Stream may feel this most clearly.

Because the more exciting copies that you think of first are often mentioned earlier, and the fewer suitable copies you can find later, in addition, readers can easily get tired of the same type of copies, and the cerebral cortex is very sensitive to The excitement level of repeated stimulation will also gradually decrease.

Different creators will have different solutions. As for me, it is my first time to try the infinite flow theme, so I am actually trying to cross the river by feeling for the stones. The methods I use are probably relatively clumsy, so I can only keep trying different ones. The theme and style, I hope it can bring something fresh to everyone.

Of course, there is a downside to this. Sometimes the style changes too much and it may not be easy to accept. For example, for the Lego replica, I chose a style close to the Lego movie, and found that the reviews were actually quite polarized. Similarly, there is Black Sail. For Black Sail, the problem is more serious. It directly changes from the previous fast-paced short copy to a slow-paced group portrait drama. This sense of discomfort may be even stronger.

I still remember that there were a lot of criticisms at that time, and some were even very fierce. It made me very depressed at one time. After all, as a creator, I worked very hard to write something, but then it was not accepted. I must have felt grievances.

And I also made many other mistakes after that, spending too much space to lay out the foreshadowing, which caused some readers to be dissatisfied, and they hurriedly compressed the following content under pressure, which also caused the previous foreshadowing to be thrown away in a hurry. At the end, the boredom of the first half was confirmed (fortunately, I resumed the second half later, which redeemed some mistakes).

I actually quite like the function of chapter talks. For readers, chapter talks give you a sense of companionship when reading, just like the barrage at station B. It also improves the genuine reading experience for some readers. As an author, I usually read a lot of chapters because I can get feedback as soon as possible.

But it must also be admitted that the emergence of chapter narratives has indeed increased the author's creative pressure, because if readers are dissatisfied with any paragraph, readers can now complain directly in the chapter narratives. When I was writing Black Sail, I didn't even dare to read it. Chapter said.

But looking back now, I have learned a lot from Black Sails, Lego and other copies.

Serialization itself is not only a creative process, but also a continuous learning process. Only by constantly reflecting on what was not done well can we possibly improve and grow in the future.

So after Black Sails, I chose a more hard-core dungeon called Apollo Project Training Camp to challenge myself. This dungeon also had the largest amount of information. At the same time, I also learned some lessons from Black Sails and incorporated the suspense elements of Werewolf. Go in, try to keep the pace as tense as possible, be realistic and interesting at the same time, and the response afterwards feels pretty good.

Of course, what I am most grateful for are those readers who stayed with me even in the most difficult times. You are the biggest reason why I can persist in writing this book. Otherwise, I, who was immature at that time, would probably have died due to too much pressure. If you choose to give up, there will be no future growth.

In addition to the Apollo program training camp, the dungeons that I am most satisfied with include Bodyguard, Tokyo Drift, Welcome to the Mannerheim Line, and I actually like Lego, which is just like the cheap style of The Lego Movie...good Well, hahahaha, as a creator, it’s actually hard for me to choose my real favorite, because I put a lot of effort into each copy.

Looking up information is really a painful and joyful thing. You may never know how much effort I put into figuring out the currency exchange ratios and approximate purchasing power of various countries in Black Sail, and what the life of Japanese international students is like. Like this, I have read so many videos of overseas study masters on station B, but because of this, after each copy, I feel that I have mastered a lot of unpopular knowledge that I don’t know what the use is, and I am still... quite happy of.

Of course, due to my limited personal energy, and the fact that I am not a person in the relevant industry or a historical researcher, there must be some omissions, and some information will no longer be accurate due to time. In addition, my The creative status will inevitably fluctuate over time. There will definitely be some chapters that I feel quite satisfied with, and there will also be some chapters that I am not very satisfied with. Here, I can only thank you all again for your tolerance for me.

I sincerely hope this story can bring you some joy, and I wish you all good health and all the best in work and study.

Finally, let me tell you my next plan.

First of all, I will spend half a month to finish the unfinished book "Interstellar White Rabbit Candy". This is what I promised when I wrote 48. That book is actually not very The online novel is more of a physical style. It basically follows the plot, and there is no updated content. Moreover, it is not the mainstream relaxed style now. It is actually quite normal for the previous performance to be poor.

But I personally really like that story, so I still plan to finish it. In fact, the only thing left is the ending, because the original outline was just a short story, and now I don’t have to think about how to lengthen it, so I can return to the short story.

I have discussed it with the editor today, and the previously blocked chapters have finally been released. During the day today, I was basically busy rewriting the previous chapters, mainly fixing some bugs, and modifying some that I didn’t want to do. Satisfactory place.

Unlike 48, that book is completely free, which can be considered as a way to repay everyone's support for me. Anyone who is interested can take a look.

After finishing that book, I will write two extras for the previous book "The Genius Magician and the Natural Brave Man", mainly because I have been owed for a long time, but the starting point of that book seems to be no longer available, and it can only be read on QQ. Yes, I thought about it, so I posted the extra story on Weibo or the reader group.

Then we will officially start preparing for the next new book. The initial plan is to try the theme of Xianxia, which should be relatively easy. It is estimated that it will be by the end of November or early December. By then, Weibo and this book will be posted. notify.

Finally, I would like to thank my two editors during the writing of this book, Yuanzheng and Lu Mingda. I am usually a talkative and autistic person, but they never gave me fewer recommendations than other authors. , and also took the initiative to tell me how I revised the introduction and what I could do better. I would like to thank several managers of the readership group, as well as several operating officers of this book, Bald Tom, Qian Huan, Siyyn, and Qian Qiyuan. In addition, I have already thanked several alliance leaders in the extra chapter. Without you, 48 would not have the current results.

Well, I originally just wanted to write something simple to say goodbye, but I accidentally ended up writing it now.

Everyone, go to bed early and take care of your health. See you in the next book~
