Main Text, Section 1450: Duties of the Peace Officer

When Mandheila was at a loss, there was a whistling sound from above.

Mandheila raised her head in confusion, and saw a black shadow appear in the sky. This black shadow flew from the top of one building to the top of another building, looking very cool... If the black shadow noticed that there was a wall in front of him, it would be even more cool.

Unfortunately, the black shadow seemed to be turning his head and looking in a certain direction, and did not notice the wall in front of him.

By the time the black shadow felt something was wrong, it was too late.

There was a violent collision, and the black shadow fell from the sky with countless falling bricks and debris, and hit the ground heavily.

The place where it fell happened to be the bend of the alley, not far from Mandheila.

Mandheila hesitated for a moment, walked to the corner, and wanted to see what happened to the person who fell from the sky.

But when she looked out, she saw that the black shadow was standing steadily as if nothing had happened, but there was a big pit on the ground.

The black shadow was facing away from Mandhela, muttering, "I bumped into the wall again. This doesn't fit my character aesthetics at all... If Frode knew, he would definitely nag me again. Well, no one should notice it, right? Right?"

While he was muttering, he seemed to sense something, and turned his head suddenly, his eyes met Mandhela's.

"There is actually someone in this alley!"

Mandhela looked at the man in front of him. He was tall and strong, wearing a horn helmet that covered most of his face, and wearing an open leather coat, revealing his strong abdominal muscles. There was a faint totem on his body, and there was a wild and primitive ethnic style.

The most eye-catching thing about this man was not the winding horn helmet, but his left foot, which was empty and replaced by a sharp sickle.

Mandhela could feel a sense of aggression just by judging from his appearance.

Mandhela unconsciously raised his vigilance to the highest level.

"Who are you? I don't think I've seen you before?" After Tulas finished speaking, he thought to himself that there were so many people he hadn't seen, and even if he had seen them, he would probably have forgotten them. This sentence was just a casual remark.

Mandheila took a few steps back, his eyes cold: "What are you going to do?"

Her voice was low and hoarse, not unpleasant, but her tone was very cold, and anyone who heard it would probably feel creepy.

Tulas scratched his head in confusion, listening to the tone of this person... "You don't know me?"

Mandheila's heart trembled, could this person be a celebrity in this city?

Tulas looked at the change in Mandheila's eyes, and vaguely had an answer in his heart: "Are you a newcomer?"

Tulas was very confident that he was definitely well-known in Chuxin City and had a great reputation. Those who didn't know him were either blind or newcomers. And there were no blind people in Chuxin City, so there was only one possibility of a newcomer.

"What does it have to do with you?" Mandheila snorted coldly, took a few steps back, and reached a safe distance. She had just arrived and had not figured out the situation here. It was not very wise to rashly clash with the "local snake". Moreover, she was no longer the queen of the undead who could call the wind and rain in the Black Forest. She was just an ordinary person. If they really fought, she would definitely suffer.

Tulas did not think so much. After judging that this was a newcomer, he was much more tolerant of Mandheila's various signs of resistance: "It seems that you are indeed a newcomer. I am Tulas, the sheriff of Chuxin City. Since I met you, I naturally cannot ignore you."

Newcomer, Chuxin City, Sheriff Tulas... Mandheila captured the key words here, all of which were unfamiliar.

Where did she appear?

Mandheila frowned, took a few steps back again, and said cautiously: "What is Chuxin City, why am I here?"

"Hey, you seem to know nothing? Didn't the person who led you here tell you anything?" Tulas was a little confused. When other newcomers entered Chuxin City, Frode would tell them more or less some information. But this woman seemed to know nothing?

What happened? Frode was lazy?

Tulas' eyes lit up. If Frode was really lazy, did it mean that he had caught Frode's little braid? Does that mean... this time he will not be held accountable for destroying the wall and the ground?

Tulas was delighted: "It doesn't matter if you don't know, follow me first, I'll take you to register."

Tulas stepped forward and wanted to grab Mandhela.

But Mandhela's reaction was one step faster than him. She was always alert. When she saw that Tulas seemed to be moving, she immediately turned around and ran.

Mandhela's reaction speed was very fast, but she was just an ordinary person at this time. Her movement speed was much slower than Tulas. After just a few steps, her wrist was grabbed by Tulas.

"Let go of my hand!" Mandhela looked at Tulas coldly, hating him in his heart. Why is this body so weak?

Tulas ignored her and grabbed her and walked out of the alley: "Don't run around. If you meet that bastard Sabel who claims to be the captain of the city defense, you'll be finished."

Tulas dragged Mandhela while muttering bad things about Sabel.

Mandhela's face turned red with anger. She swung a few times and even attacked Tulas, but still couldn't break free.

Perhaps because Mandhela struggled too hard, Tulas explained: "Don't worry, I'm the sheriff, I won't do anything to you."

Before she knows where this place is and whether there is any danger, Mandheila will not trust anyone, even if the other party claims to be a sheriff.

Mandheila's eyes showed sarcasm: "At the beginning, there was a person who claimed to be a princess and sold me to human traffickers, not to mention that you are just a sheriff. Who knows what secrets are going on."

Mandheila regretted it after she finished speaking, and didn't know why she suddenly said this impulsively?

Sure enough, is it because she is too weak in her heart? Damn Angel, why did he turn her back into a soul!

Hearing Mandheila's sarcasm, Tulas paused for a moment and looked at Mandheila intently.

After a long time, when Mandheila felt a little uncomfortable, Tulas said with pity: "Sure enough, all the royal nobles are scum. Don't worry, you won't encounter that kind of danger again in Chuxin City."

"Aren't you a noble yourself?" Mandheila said sarcastically.

Tulas nodded seriously: "Of course not, I just came to Chuxin City to play."

After Tulas finished speaking, he muttered: "I don't want to be locked up in the Church of the Dead by Angel every day."

Manderhaila was stunned for a moment. She seemed to have heard Angel's name from this person? What did he say just now?

Manderhaila was a little depressed. She just focused on how to escape and didn't listen carefully to Tulas's words. What did he say about Angel?

Manderhaila hesitated. Should I ask directly?

But before Manderhaila could speak, she was dragged out of the alley by Tulas. There were people coming and going outside. Manderhaila felt that she was being stared at by countless people. The curiosity in her heart was instantly replaced by discomfort.

Manderhaila began to struggle again, with a low roar in her throat: "Let me go!"

Tulas didn't care about the eyes of others. He walked on the road carelessly, still holding Manderhaila's wrist tightly.

Before taking a few steps, Tulas seemed to see something and suddenly ran.

Mandhela was still in his hand, and in order not to fall to the ground, Mandhela had to run with Tulas. While running, Mandhela couldn't help cursing.

But Tulas completely turned a deaf ear to him and only focused on chasing the target in front of him.

When Mandhela felt dizzy, Tulas stopped.

Mandhela panted and raised his head angrily, but saw a tall man in front of Tulas. This man looked very handsome and masculine, wearing soft armor and a long sword at his waist, looking majestic.

This new man seemed to have no expression, but there was a sense of urgency in his eyes, as if there was something urgent to do.

"Tulas, what's up?"

"I heard you're going to play the second game, so I'm here to help you train." Tulas grabbed the other's shoulder with a brotherly look, and said with a wronged and complaining look: "Why do you only go to Sabel? You used to come to me."

"Every time I come, I don't know where you go. You only go to Sabel Knight... I'll talk about the training later. I have something to do with Frode now." After he said that, he bypassed Tulas and walked towards the tower not far away.

Tulas hurriedly caught up, and Mandhela finally took a breath, but was dragged away again.

"I also have something to do with Frode." Tulas said, and followed him: "You look in a hurry, what are you looking for Frode for?"

When asked the reason, Leon's expression was a little strange, and he sighed: "Nothing, just want to ask about Angel."

"What's wrong with him?" Tulas asked puzzledly.

Leon shook his head and said nothing: "I just heard a rumor, I want to find Frode to verify it."

Tulas wanted to continue to ask, but Leon stopped talking, instead he looked at Mandhela who was dragged by Tulas: "Who is she?"

Tulas looked back at Mandhela, and at some point, Mandhela stopped struggling, but followed silently forward. However, if you look closely, you will find that Mandhela's ears are moving slightly.

"A newcomer, she doesn't know the situation here yet, I'm just going to take her to register, and I'll go to Frode to ask for justice!" Tulas said the last few words with a heroic look.

Lyon, however, was full of disbelief: "I heard earlier that you destroyed the statue in the memorial square yesterday. It's good that Frode didn't ask you for punishment."

"That was me...I was careless." Tulas's tone suddenly weakened: "By the way, who did you hear that from? Could it be that Sabel bastard who likes to gossip behind people's backs?"

Lyon shook his head: "Knight Sabel never talks about other people's shortcomings."

Tulas's expression fell: "You mean, I'm talking about other people's shortcomings?"

Lyon shook his head, not wanting to dwell on this issue, but said: "Speaking of which, I just heard a rumor that there seemed to be a loud noise at the Ocean Theater, and the wall seemed to be broken. Could it be..."

Tulas coughed: "It has nothing to do with me."

Lyon looked at Tulas's expression and seemed to understand something.
