Chapter 230: Annoyance
Meka Anders studied with Professor Flitwick for three days, and the rain continued intermittently for three days.
When the sky turned cloudy and the sunlight poured through the window onto the parchment on the table, Professor Flitwick wrote the last fairy language on the densely packed paper, put away his quill, and said:
"The last word you mentioned in Fairy Language is a rare word, but fortunately it's not too rare. I happened to have seen it in a book before."
He pointed to the wing-shaped words on the parchment and told Meka:
"This word is pronounced 'Lohe', which means 'mother tree'. This is the belief of fairies hundreds of years ago, and it is also the destination they recognize."
"In the eyes of fairies at that time, death meant returning to the 'mother tree'. There is also a story here..."
Meka took notes while listening. Ten minutes later, he stood up and left, saying sincerely:
"Thank you very much for your teaching these days. The fairy language I learned from you should be enough to solve the problems I face."
"That's good." Professor Flitwick jumped down from his chair.
His face was rosy, and although he tried hard to look serious, the corners of his grinned mouth still betrayed his happy mood.
Professor Flitwick sent Meka to the door, hesitated, lowered his head and said:
"My bad attitude toward you in those days actually had nothing to do with you, it was me..."
But before he finished speaking, Meka shook his head and smiled:
"Professor, everyone has their own wounds in their hearts. It's just that some people have bigger wounds and some people have smaller wounds. This is just like people having major or minor problems with their bodies. It's not unusual."
"I came to you to learn the fairy language, and now my goal has been achieved. I have long forgotten how the process was, and you don't have to worry about it."
"Okay, just send it here. You have third grade class tomorrow. I'll see you in class then."
Meka waved her hand and turned to leave.
Professor Flitwick stared at his back blankly, and suddenly remembered that many years ago, when he was helping in the blacksmith shop, he broke a long sword that was being tempered, and was scolded by the old master of the blacksmith shop until he burst into tears. After his father Gabriel came back from work, he comforted him and said:
"Filius, no one is infallible, and no one is without any flaws. It's no big deal."
"Also, I made a very serious mistake in the past. I was expelled from school. It felt like the sky was falling. But it was also because I had nowhere to go that day, so I ran to a mountain and met your mother there."
"That's how I can become your father, Filius."
Professor Flitwick thought about these words and looked down at his robe with the Ravenclaw emblem. He then looked up at the magnificent castle called Hogwarts and smiled. :
"If it hadn't been for that incident that caused me to leave home and the goblin clan, I don't think I would have become a professor in this school and wouldn't have met so many lovely students..."
He laughed out loud, then slammed the heavy door shut.
…
Meka was walking on the cobblestone path that still had traces of rain, when suddenly a brown-gray owl flapped its wings and landed on the branch of an ancient tree nearby, staring at him.
Coming towards me?
Meka was startled for a moment, seeing the small piece of paper rolled up in its paw, and realized that it should be a letter sent to her by someone.
He took off the letter from the owl's talons, released the owl, and then unfolded the letter to read.
After a while, Meka put the letter away and smiled:
"It turns out that Sirius is eager for revenge. He hopes that I can hand over Peter Pettigrew to him after I finish handling my own affairs."
The words in the letter were sincere and straightforward.
Sirius also said that in order to express his previous apology, he would send a gift later, and asked Meka about Harry's preferences, and then they would send gifts to both of them together.
"The appointment location is in the corridor behind the library. It's best to meet after eleven o'clock..." Meka looked up and looked in the direction of the library.
Coincidentally, after handing Peter Pettigrew to Sirius in the evening, Bithia's last wish was also resolved, and both things were settled.
Meka put the letter in her pocket and walked towards the Transfiguration classroom in a hurry.
If we don't hurry up, we'll be late for the afternoon Transfiguration class.
…
The night at Hogwarts was as quiet as ever, and even the Black River, which was surrounded by vegetation and accompanied by the chirping of insects during the day, fell into a deep sleep.
Harry and Hermione put on invisibility cloaks just like the previous days, and disappeared into the slightly bright dormitory.
Footsteps headed towards the door, and the door creaked open.
Meka originally watched the two people leave and was about to go back to bed to lie down for a while. When she turned around, she saw someone on another bed leaving a wand.
He was startled for a moment and called the two of them:
"Wait a minute."
The footsteps stopped and Hermione poked her head out: "What's wrong, Meka?"
Meka picked up the wand, walked to the door, and said with a smile:
"Since we are going on an adventure, how could we leave such an important thing behind?"
Hermione subconsciously touched the wand in her arms and breathed a sigh of relief:
"Fortunately, I didn't forget mine, otherwise I would have to go to the women's dormitory."
Harry next to him also opened a corner of his cloak. He clearly remembered that he had put his wand on him, but he touched his pocket and found that it was empty.
He was startled for a moment, raised his head and said:
"It's really mine. I thought the wand was always on me."
Harry took the wand from Maka and put it in his pocket, patting it with his hand to make sure it was safe.
"Thank you, Maka. Let's go."
The two put down the corners of their cloaks, walked out, and closed the door.
The dormitory became dark again, and footsteps could be heard faintly outside the door.
Maka was about to go back to bed, but saw Ron climbed up from the bed at some point and was lying by the window looking at the corridor.
"What's wrong?" Maka looked at him and smiled, "Do you really want to go with me?"
Ron nodded subconsciously, and then shook his head quickly.
He scratched his head and said:
"I don't know. I wanted to go, but I always felt that I was unlucky. If I followed him, I would run into the poisoner..."
"Hey, let me be frank with you..." He thought for a while and sighed,
"Since I left the school hospital, I feel that I have become timid. I dare not go out at night, for fear that I will be poisoned by that person again and lie back in bed..."
"I may have a shadow on that bed."
Meka looked at him sighing and smiled to comfort him:
"It's right not to go. Madam Pomfrey said that you have to rest for a month. Injury to internal organs is not a trivial matter. If you don't take good care of it, it's easy to leave some minor problems."
In fact, he can understand Ron's thoughts.
When he went to the school hospital to see Ron that day, he asked Madam Pomfrey about Ron's condition and got the answer:
"If he had been sent later, he might not have been saved."
"He and Neville are the same. They have the highest toxin content in their bodies and the most severe symptoms."
"But Neville is fine. Ron was malnourished to begin with. This time he was almost dead."
It is normal for a person to have some psychological trauma after experiencing such a terrible thing.
So Ron's reaction is reasonable.
Of course, Ron recovered very well, both physically and mentally. Madam Pomfrey specially examined him yesterday and there was no psychological problem.
Luckily there was no problem. To be honest, if Ron really had a problem, Maeka would feel that he was also responsible because Boguna came because of him.
In fact, whether it was Ron or Maeka, they were just victims.
Maeka watched Ron lie back on the bed. He also walked back to his bed and looked up at the clock on the wall.
The time was half past ten in the evening.
There is still half an hour before meeting Sirius.
…
Under the night, footsteps suddenly sounded in the quiet corridor.
Harry frowned under his cloak and touched his robe pocket from time to time, as if he was worried that his wand would disappear from his body again.
His restless behavior quickly attracted the attention of Hermione next to him.
Hermione looked at him for several times, and finally showed worry on her face, and couldn't help asking:
"Are you okay, Harry?"
Harry's right hand trembled violently when he heard it, as if he was startled.
He looked back at Hermione, exhaled deeply, and said:
"I'm fine, but I'm a little upset for some reason. I always feel that something will happen tonight..."
