Chapter 249: Mag the Magic Fairy
"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!" Cedric was extremely excited, and so were those who knew the minister's history, led by Amos Diggory.
Eldridge Diggory was a very popular minister who first established the Auror recruitment program.
At some point in his career, Diggory visited Azkaban.
This visit proved to be a shock to him, because he had never known the conditions in the prison were so bad before: people died of despair, and most of those who remained were already insane.
After returning to London, Diggory set up a committee to seek alternatives to Azkaban, at least to remove the Dementors as guards.
Experts believed that if the Dementors could not get the souls of the prisoners as food, they would most likely abandon the prison and live on land.
However, Diggory was horrified by what he saw, and he still looked for alternatives.
In 1747, Diggory died in his office due to dragon pox.
Therefore, the committee never made a decision to replace Azkaban.
This is the history on the surface. In fact, death from dragon pox is a sign of assassination by conservative forces in the Ministry of Magic, led by Rowle.
Abraxas Malfoy, who once manipulated the Minister of Magic and assassinated the first Muggle-born Minister, also died because of this.
The upper conservative forces led by Rowle believed that Abraxas Malfoy had violated their rights.
In general, Eldridge Diggory is undoubtedly a heroic figure, even in this world.
"Why are you so excited?" Draco muttered quietly, but didn't care. "He was indeed a very good Minister of Magic in the early days."
"But how can the weak rule the strong in this world? The Magic Castle, where the strong gather, is the center of the tree world."
(The people in the British Ministry of Magic, who were taken down by Dumbledore alone, nodded repeatedly.)
"After he founded the Auror system, Steven Flitwick, the then professor of Charms, thought that this hindered his research."
(Filius Flitwick was confused, "My ancestor is so powerful? I remember that he was not the most powerful wizard at the time, at least in our world. Could it be that he is particularly suitable for the Blue Magic Fairy system?")
"So. Overnight, the Ministry of Magic was disbanded. Incorporated into the Magic Castle."
"Professor Flitwick's ancestor? Then Edrich Diggory." Cedric asked.
"Yes, that's right. As for Diggory becoming the last Minister of Magic." Draco shrugged, "It's actually nothing, but he is a very responsible person. He took the dissolution of the Ministry of Magic as his own fault."
"So, he began to treat his descendants harshly, and became more and more harsh as they did not perform as expected."
"Didn't they think of resisting? I mean the descendants of Eldritch Diggory." Cedric felt a sense of pity for himself in this other world for a while.
"Eldritch Diggory is still very powerful in the Mountain and Sea Realm. He joined forces with the magic fairies led by Damocles Rowle who wanted to rebuild the Ministry of Magic."
Hearing this, Cedric felt it was ironic that his ancestor in the other world joined forces with the Rowle forces that killed him on the original fate line.
"Until now, Eldritch Diggory has almost given up his descendants."
"Now that the secrets of the elves have been made public, the contract that conceals this news that can be solved by following a process is not even cancelled for the descendants. Cedric has become a 'fool' among the magic fairies."
"Fool?" Cedric asked.
"They are the fairies who don't know that fairies can live forever, and they will automatically rationalize when they hear relevant knowledge. They are "protected" by the contract, and they can only get rid of it in the most critical seventh grade."
"Think about it, how can such little fairies who communicate with you in a way that is irrelevant and do a series of stupid things because of information asymmetry not be regarded as idiots."
"If there are many idiots, there will be no problem if they stick together."
"But there are less than 10 idiots in the entire Fairy Castle now."
Draco hid a more popular name for these idiots - Death Eaters.
Because his grandfather was once one of them.
"Then how do they understand the connection between their ancestors and themselves?" Cedric asked.
Draco touched his chin, "I think they seem to regard this as a magic painting, a non-existent portrait that records the thinking logic of the deceased and can be communicated."
"If you are really interested, you can search the textbooks marked with asterisks at the back. The knowledge in them is constructed based on the worldview of idiots."
"Then does the Fairy Castle not care?" Cedric asked.
"We are prepared to take care of it, but we are still going through the process. You know, there are too many previous Magic Fairy Kings in the Mountain and Sea Realm."
"It will take a long time for them to sign and review it."
"Okay, we should go to class. There are still 10 minutes."
Draco pulled Cedric's arm, and Cedric digested the information in his mind. He finally understood why the 'World's No. 1 Red Magic Fairy' who was probably his in this world acted like that on the forum.
It is really hard to live without friends and be isolated as a fool.
With such a mood, Cedric staggered to the classroom of the Gewu class.
Unlike the structure of the Roman Colosseum in the history of magic, its structure is very ordinary, almost the same as the Transfiguration classroom in Cedric's world.
At most, there is more space because there are more students.
The classroom is very noisy, and a light gray tabby cat sits stiffly on the podium.
There are round glasses around the eyes, and you can tell at a glance that it is Professor McGonagall.
"It's almost time for class, why hasn't Professor McGonagall come yet?" Draco complained, and found a seat at the back while Cedric looked at him like a fool. "Look, even the cat came earlier than her."
(Many viewers thought it was outrageous. The Red Fairy could turn into a magical animal, so why didn't the students think that this might be Professor McGonagall. Especially since this person was Draco Malfoy, who was a know-it-all and answered many common sense questions.)
(However, the careful audience, led by Dumbledore, immediately thought of the little fairies' ignorance of the magical animal talents and the textbooks that were only unlocked after class. Perhaps this knowledge had not been unlocked before class. Some common sense related to the course might be the same as the little wizard not knowing the existence of the Sorting Hat.)
(And maybe turning into a magical animal in this world is easier than turning into an animal by the magic fairy.)
Cedric wanted to cover Draco's mouth, but it was too late.
The cat jumped off the table on the podium and turned into an old woman in a green robe and round glasses - Minerva McGonagall.
"Professor McGonagall?" Draco, Crabbe and Goyle turned pale.
Cedric blinked apologetically.
"It's me," she walked straight to the four people, "Mr. Draco, I obviously came much earlier than you thought."
"Mr. Cullen, you don't seem surprised."
Cedric smiled modestly, "I searched Baidu for the magic fairy of the study of matter while eating. The magic fairy of the study of matter is the magic fairy who studies the nature of matter and can freely modify the properties of matter and combine them."
"Professor Hagrid also said that the best magic fairy of the study of matter can change its own form."
"Very good," Professor McGonagall nodded, "Slytherin plus 4 points!"
Then she returned to the podium.
"I just noticed that only five of you discovered my identity. No, maybe five."
Her eyes swept over Badger Granger, the two Krums, Fleur, Daniel, and Edward.
(Hermione leaned on Bagel's shoulder, "Baki in the other world is also amazing.")
"I'm disappointed. I deliberately kept the pattern of my glasses."
Most of the students lowered their heads.
"With this attitude, I doubt you can go very far on the road of studying things."
"Studying things is a road without shortcuts. You must experience the properties of each object yourself in order to permanently transform the object, modify its own state, and reach the realm of creating things out of thin air and creating life."
"If you are satisfied with temporary transformation, you can get out of my classroom and study on your own."
(Professor McGonagall, "I don't even have the qualifications to enter my own classroom in the other world?")
She took out her pocket, and a dark brown ruler-shaped magic fairy device appeared.
With its appearance, charts appeared out of thin air on the desks of all the little fairies.
"This is the periodic table of elements in the world of ordinary people. It must be said that ordinary people are one step ahead of the fairies in terms of the microscopic aspects of matter."
"However, we do not sense the physical properties of the corresponding elements in order."
"We will not let you sense directly today."
"But I do not require you to memorize the periodic table and the chemical formulas of common items."
"As long as you know the concept, it is better to observe directly than to memorize it by rote."
"What you need to do is to learn a spell, 'Balala Energy-Gryffindor-Microscopic Eye.'"
"Remember to touch your fairy device when chanting the spell, and imagine it as a part of your limbs."
"Can our black fairies chant this spell?" Draco raised his hand.
Professor McGonagall pursed her lips, "Of course, some general spells are not limited to roads."
"You can search the book "General Spells" after class."
"In fact, some physical transformation magic begins with the names of black fairies such as Gunara Dark God and Slytherin."
Just like that, the sound of chanting spells rang out in the classroom.
Although it was clearly stated that only contact was needed, the fairies all waved their strange-shaped magic devices. Fairies like Neville and Harry, whose magic devices were weapons, were far away from him.
Seamus's round bomb magic device that kept emitting sparks also frightened some fairies from the ordinary world.
However, the most unlucky one was Krum, who could only hold "his" hand and mutter something.
"Oh, well done!" Professor McGonagall smiled, "Look, everyone, Mr. Granger has succeeded!"
However, as the get out of class was about to end, only Basil Granger successfully performed the microscopic eye.
Some students were in a very bad mood.
Harry, a first-year student who wanted to show himself in front of Fleur, was dejected.
Draco was thankful, "Fortunately, he is not a dustman."
Hermione admired and lost.
In short, a large number of students began to have a negative attitude, and the outward manifestation was that they almost stopped waving magic devices and the frequency of chanting spells was much slower.
Professor McGonagall noticed this.
So she started shouting stop.
"Put away your magic weapons and stop practicing first."
"You have to understand that there are only a few people who have mastered the microscopic eye as quickly as Mr. Bagir Granger."
"Just like in the Care of Magical Creatures class, only Mr. Edward Cullen successfully mastered the [true form] of the little devil."
"We might as well relax for the rest of the time—"
Ron's eyebrows raised at this.
"Let's have a knowledge quiz. If you ask questions related to the Demon Immortal Gewu, I will answer them."
The next second, Ron's raised eyebrows instantly dropped.
(As an audience member, Ron also complained, "It is indeed Professor McGonagall. Only Hermione would think this is relaxing.")
"How did you become a cat?" Cedric raised his hand.
He was curious about the difference in the magic of turning animals into animals in this world. Is it equally complicated and requires the intervention of magic potions, and also takes into account the weather and season.
"Good question." Professor McGonagall nodded approvingly, "As we all know, the Magic Fairy cannot take shortcuts and change its shape like the Red Magic Fairy."
"And it's much harder to turn into an animal without magic than to turn into a magical animal."
"The difficulty levels from low to high are inanimate objects, magical plants, magical animals, plants, and animals."
"Before the first demon fairy turned into a fish in full view of the public in 1574, many demon immortals believed that this was impossible."
(Professor McGonagall is surprised that there is no Animagi in this world?)
"After all, if you want to achieve this, you must completely deconstruct yourself and the structure you want to turn into an object or life. Moreover, ordinary animals and plants do not have magic power, and you cannot cheat through magic synaesthesia. The structure of animals is also much more complex than that of plants."
The bell rings.
"Everyone, the two books "Elementary Observation of Objects" and "Chemical Formulas of Common Items" in your library of the Demonic Fairy's Hundred Treasures Book will be opened to you later."
"You can write an article based on the first chapter of "Elementary Study of Objects" and the content I taught in this lesson."
"No word limit, please send it to my email before Friday morning."
"get out of class is over!"
The students walked out.
In the crowded corridor, the four of them fell behind the group.
"It's really annoying that I'm being targeted by a kid." Furong said with a sullen face.
Harry rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. He knew who the brat Fleur meant.
Krum shook his head, "Okay, he's just a first-year little demon fairy."
"Besides, maybe you can take advantage of this. The Potter family seems to be very powerful in the wizarding world."
"He can help us complete our mission."
"But it's such a pity. Edward Cullen comes from the world of ordinary people. If he is also a little magic fairy in the magical world, we might be able to ask other people about it."
