Chapter 244: The Sermon Ends, Hongjun Gives Treasures
Hongjun looked at Sanqing again, with a hint of satisfaction in his eyes. He saw the clear lights of the three of them complementing each other, clearly revealing the high and far reaches of the avenue.
The three have different paths. One is like water, obeying the destiny and following the destiny. His strength is not obvious. He has the same desire to block his pursuit. If there is any obstacle, his overwhelming power will be seen.
One is like jade, and the other is like the purity of the sky. It moves along the sky and explains the way of heaven. It is like the clouds in the sky, high and far away, unattainable by ordinary people. Between movement and stillness, it can show the power of thunder and thunder.
One is like a sword, and the other is like clear air swimming, going straight forward without hindrance, relying on its sharpness, and its light cannot be concealed.
Don't let the outside world change, let it pass through the clouds and mud, and eventually go straight through the sky, leaving traces behind, allowing anyone to pass through.
Hongjun looked at this sharp appearance with some admiration in his eyes, and looked closer for a moment before turning his gaze.
Hongjun looked towards the Kunpeng and saw the Peng bird rising in the sky, flying across the endless sea. There were giant Kuns accompanying it in the sea, sometimes leaping on the sea surface.
The two chase each other, which shows their monstrous ambition. When the Kunpeng spreads its wings, the wind, clouds and water are unpredictable. The great road is not obvious to the outside, but is revealed in the subtle.
Hongjun couldn't say he liked or disliked this, he was just indifferent. He thought it was somewhat ingenious, which was not bad at all.
Nuwa's vision was different from everyone else's. It was a scene full of vitality and all things bursting out, but Nuwa was nowhere to be seen.
Hongjun watched with interest, but his eyes became more and more happy as he watched, and he whispered.
"This should be my true teaching. Although the Taoism of such great merits and virtues will not be promoted by you, the poor Taoism is not only the Taoism."
Hongjun began to pace in the main hall. Every time he came to someone, he would stop and look at them until he reached the place where Hou Tu was.
Hou Tu could not be immersed in the great road. When he saw Hongjun walking beside him, he quickly stood up and saluted, but was interrupted by a wave of his hand.
"Sit down with peace of mind. The Wu Clan does not practice the Dao of Yuan Shen. If you can be there every time without being distracted, it can be considered that your heart towards the Dao is very strong."
"It's just that you know that what you are doing now is just a waste of hard work. If you are just worried about the poor Taoist being angry, you can be more relaxed."
"I am not a fussy person. I am just preaching. It doesn't matter whether I come or not."
Hou Tu thought for a while and finally decided to answer honestly:
"I dare not deceive Dao Zu. Hou Tu did come with this mentality at first. After the second sermon, I also know that Zu is not a stingy person."
"It's just that Daozu doesn't know something. I came here to listen to the lecture for three reasons."
"Firstly, because of my own reasons, I thought that I have already listened to it twice. It would be a pity if I missed the last one. It is better to come and listen to the lecture. Maybe I will understand it this time."
At this point, Houtu smiled innocently, and seeing that Hongjun didn't move, he spoke again:
"The second reason is because of the Wu Clan. Although the Wu Clan is powerful now, it is only a drop in the ocean to the ancient world."
"Occupying the Western Continent has strengthened our momentum a lot, but in the end it is just a tree without roots and water without a source."
"Although Heavenly Court seems to be trustworthy, this incident makes me feel that it is full of calculations. Although I don't know why they are like this, they must have a plan."
"I went to Chaos to listen to the lecture, and I also hid a little bit of stability in their minds. After all, I am now in Heaven as a hostage, which can make them feel more at ease."
"And it only lasts for the time of the Sanyuanhui. I can afford to wait. I just hope that my brother and the others can seize the window period of the great power and develop well."
"Thirdly, this is for myself and my brothers and sisters. Regardless of the immortal way or the divine way, in the end, it is the way of the soul."
"Everyone takes the path of accumulating life and cultivation, and then realizing the great path. This is completely different from the path of the Witch Clan."
"The Dao of Yuanshen already has a way to realize the Hunyuan. This is something that our shaman practice has never had, so I also want to come and listen to it, hoping to find a future from it."
Hongjun was quite satisfied with this and asked:
"Since you have considered this, you might as well think about it. Based on the method of cultivation of the Witch Clan, what is the most similar way in the ancient world?"
"Comparing the Witch Clan, what are the differences between the two? Where has the strongest gone? Has it ever been able to break the limits of the two?"
Hou Tu heard Hongjun's question. After hesitating for a moment, he finally made up his mind and replied:
"Reporting to Dao Ancestor, now that I am serving in the Heavenly Court, I have also looked at the collection of books in it. The one who is most similar to the Wu Clan is..."
After Hou Tu said this, he paused for a moment, but he still gritted his teeth and said:
"Ferocious beasts! They are the same as the Witch Clan. They do not cultivate the soul, but only cultivate the flesh and blood. They rely on devouring the heaven and earth to make progress."
"The strongest among them is called Shen Ni, and he is the king of ferocious beasts. As for his cultivation level, it is not recorded in it, but I think he should be no worse than my elder brother."
Seeing that Hou Tu could realize this, Hongjun couldn't help but feel more satisfied with her, and explained her confusion:
"What you said is not false, but the information you obtained is too fragmented and too little."
"Witches and ferocious beasts are indeed somewhat similar, but there are still some differences."
"It's not that the ferocious beasts don't cultivate their souls, it's that their true spirits are ignorant, and most of them have no spiritual intelligence and cannot practice."
"But even so, they still have souls, so they can use magical powers to fight against the enemy. In this regard, they are different from the Witch Clan."
"The strongest among them is indeed Shen Ni, the King of Ferocious Beasts, but his strength is much stronger than that of Di Jiang."
"But it is not a natural ferocious beast. It is different from the normal ones. Instead of calling him a ferocious beast, it is better to call him a fallen angel."
"However, he could not escape his fate after all, causing a great catastrophe, and finally passed away due to the catastrophe, without attaining enlightenment."
"And to tell you the truth, if you want to achieve the realm of Hunyuan Wujiluo Jinxian, Yuan Shen must be indispensable."
"You have to know that the Yuan Shen is the spirit. It is the foundation of the Dao and is indispensable."
Hou Tu was a little distracted when he heard this, but finally asked with a wry smile:
"Dao Ancestor, do we, the Witch Clan, really have no chance?"
Hongjun shook his head and smiled:
"No, the Great Dao is fifty and the Heavenly Evolution is forty-nine. There is still a glimmer of hope left. This is true for all living beings, and it is also true for the Wu clan."
"This is just a glimmer of hope. Is it really what you want? If you want to achieve Hunyuan, you must first replenish the soul."
"The soul is the light of life and the bell of spirituality. Those of you who are born without a soul can still succeed if you cultivate your soul and build it with merit."
"However, let me ask you, is the soul that was created through such force really the person you are today?"
"Perhaps, she is more suitable for your body and everything about you than you. She will be you, but you may not be her."
Hou Tu was confused by Hongjun's words and felt extremely strange. Why was the soul his own? Isn’t he the soul?
Hongjun didn't explain any more, he just smiled and walked towards the next person. He came by fate, and when he got here, he should naturally leave.
If you stay too long, the result will be wrong. Hou Tu's fate of attending the lectures three times has been exhausted, and the follow-up needs to be up to him.
Hongjun returned to the high platform again and looked at the various seekers below. Hongjun seemed to be smiling, but in the end he just sighed and stopped making any moves.
The period of Sanyuanhui is only fleeting for enlightenment. The three thousand mortal guests in the hall were completely awake at the end of the sermon.
It's not that everyone doesn't have the patience to continue to understand the Tao, but that everyone is used to getting answers to all their questions, but suddenly they need to think alone.
The gap was so great that it was difficult for everyone to adapt to it, so they broke away from it one after another.
This situation is like when everyone is used to seeing a clear and smooth environment, but suddenly it turns into a blurry pixel world.
If you want to see anything, you have to go through thousands of layers of obstacles, and then you can only get a little blurry light and shadow.
The gap is too huge, making it difficult for people to adapt and naturally unable to enter samadhi.
Seeing that everyone was awake, Hongjun said:
"The sermon is over. If you have any questions, you can ask them later. If I don't do this, I will do something in harmony with the Tao in the future and sort out the way of heaven. If earth, water, fire, wind, etc. happen again, I will never be born again."
"Before asking, please allow me to say a few words about Xuanmen."
Everyone immediately replied, "It's natural. In everything, we should put Tao Ancestor's affairs first, and everyone is now a member of Xuanmen, so they naturally have no objection to this."
When Hongjun saw everyone shouting, he didn't stop him. He only waited for everyone to be quiet before he spoke:
"Daode, Yuanshi, and Lingbao, the three of you are the incarnations of the innate pure energy. You have received the legacy of the great god Pangu. You are the most noble and noble. You can be my inner disciples of Xuanmen."
"In this regard, are you three willing to join my sect and become my disciples?"
Sanqing looked at each other in confusion. After one glance, he nodded and said:
"I would like to be my teacher's disciple."
Hongjun nodded at this, with a slight smile on his face and said:
"good."
Then Hongjun looked at Nuwa and said:
"You are a person with great merits and virtues. Your Tao is noble and noble. You are most similar to the poor Taoist. You are even more compassionate than the poor Taoist. You can be my true successor to Taoism."
"At that time, under the Xuanmen Taoist tradition, I wonder if you can join my sect?"
Nuwa glanced at Qi, and then looked at Fuxi, Dijun, and Taiyi. Regardless of everyone's expressions, she turned around and said to Hongjun:
"Disciple pays homage to teacher."
Hongjun then smiled and looked at Kunpeng and Jieyin. He hesitated slightly when facing Kunpeng, but finally said:
"You have a shallow relationship with me, but you still have a relationship between master and disciple. Are you willing to join my sect and become an outer disciple?"
Although Kunpeng was a little disappointed in this regard, he still worshiped unswervingly:
"Disciple pays homage to teacher."
Hongjun also nodded, showing his approval, and then said:
"Are you willing to join my sect and become an outer disciple?"
Although Jie Yin was a little confused about this, he didn't understand why Hongjun's attitude was like this? But he still said thanks:
"If the disciple is willing, I will introduce you to the teacher."
Hongjun did not have any other attitude towards this, but just said to the Taoist Taoist:
"Your character can make me a great disciple. This is the innate treasure Tai Chi Diagram, and it will be used to protect your path and suppress your luck."
Under the envious gazes of everyone, the Tai Chi diagram flew out of Hongjun's sleeves and landed in the hands of Taoist Daode.
Daode was also a little surprised and immediately thanked him:
"Disciple, thank you teacher for this gift!"
Hongjun turned to Yuan Shi and said:
"Your character is worthy of being my second disciple. This is the innate treasure Pangu Banner, and it will be used to protect your path and suppress your luck."
"Yuanshi thanks the teacher for the gift. I will definitely live up to this treasure."
Hongjun looked at Taoist Lingbao, a little hesitant, but still said:
"This treasure is a set, which is composed of four top-quality innate spirits, the four swords of Zhu, Slaughter, Trap, and Absolute, and their formations. Its power is astonishing."
"Although it cannot suppress luck, it cannot be broken by the Four Saints. It can be used to protect your way. Holding this formation, I hope you will not indulge in it and do not commit murderous crimes."
Everyone's attention was immediately attracted by Hongjun's words. Must the Four Saints be indestructible? Doesn’t this mean you are in an invincible position!
Taoist Lingbao was suddenly a little surprised. He already liked formations, and with this treasure, he gained even more than his two brothers.
"Disciple, thank you teacher for the gift. Lingbao should remember the teacher's teachings!"
Hongjun just hummed, then looked at Nuwa, showed a smile and said:
"This is the best innate spiritual treasure red hydrangea, with innate merits contained in it."
"This is the best innate spiritual treasure, the Western plain cloud flag. It holds the strange phenomenon of mist, making the heaven and earth bright, all evils retreating, and all laws not invading."
"This is the ultimate innate spiritual treasure, the Qiankun Cauldron. It has the effect of returning to the innate world. It will also bring you a great merit in the future."
"This is a set of top-quality innate spiritual treasure five-element flags. If combined, it will be inferior to the innate treasure. It can be used to protect your way."
When everyone saw that Hongjun had given Nuwa so many treasures, their eyes suddenly turned red. Even Sanqing noticed that the teacher was partial.
Nuwa was naturally very happy about this. After putting away these spiritual treasures, she immediately stood up and thanked:
"Disciple, thank you teacher for this gift!"
Hongjun then looked at Kunpeng and Jieyin, thought for a moment and said to Kunpeng:
"You are only an outer sect, so I can't give you too much. These are the silk ribbon, the necklace, the umbrella cover, the flower crown, the flag banner, the golden bow, and the fish intestines. They are all top-grade innate spiritual treasures."
"Although it is only top-grade, its quality can be considered as high-quality, and it is all yours."
Although Kunpeng envied Sanqing and Nuwa, he was not dissatisfied with them. In his opinion, it was good to have seven top-grade innate spiritual treasures.
Moreover, the seat was originally protected by several Heavenly Emperors for him, so it was an unexpected fortune to be able to gain this.
"Disciple Kunpeng, thank you teacher for your gift. I will take it as my responsibility to revitalize Xuanmen in the future!"
Although Hongjun was surprised that Kunpeng didn't have any hatred, after all, there was such a big gap between him and the former, but seeing him like this, he couldn't help but feel more satisfied with him.
After thinking about it, Hongjun said another word of relief:
"It's not easy to have such a heart. In the future, I should help your senior brother Nuwa more."
Kunpeng was immediately overjoyed and said:
"You must obey the teacher's words carefully, and follow up with senior sister's guidance!"
Nuwa nodded and said:
"Then you and I, senior fellow apprentices, should get closer to each other from now on."
Kunpeng naturally said yes again and again. For Kunpeng at the moment, Hongjun's proposal of brothers helping each other made Kunpeng more happy than giving him six high-grade innate spiritual treasures.
And after Nuwa admitted it, Kunpeng knew that he would have an emperor in heaven!
The Duke of the East does not know how to commend himself, he is short-sighted and does not know the greatness of heaven, and he despises the position of the emperor of heaven.
But he is different. He has personally experienced all kinds of things in heaven, and the richness he gained is far beyond the imagination of the gods.
As long as a little bit of it is exposed, not to mention six innate spiritual treasures, he won't exchange them for ten!
But it doesn't matter, Prince Dong doesn't like it, but Kunpeng likes him.
You know, Kunpeng is not that one among the stars. Although he does not have an important position now, he has long been regarded by everyone as the next choice of heaven and earth.
PS: A little late, but here it comes! Late but arrived! (End of chapter)
