Chapter 107: Remarks on the Launch
Remarks on the Bookshelf
It's time to put the book on the shelf again.
Speaking of which, there are many things about this book.
At first, I thought the editor was someone I had added, but later I found out that it wasn't. There shouldn't be anyone else who added the editor after more than a month of writing.
Well, although the setting is a spiritual world, there are many things that cannot be written.
After all, I am still a person.
I can't confirm which of my thoughts are caused or changed by the body.
The initial opportunity for this book was probably because of my serious personality?
Well, you should know how troublesome people with serious personalities are.
But serious personality is only in certain aspects. A person's personality is not constant. Even if a person is interested in more than one thing, it will change.
For example, when I first wrote Night Raven, I was only interested in the world after death. I would think about what it feels like after death, but at the same time I was more interested in other things.
But after I went to the hospital to find out the problem last year, I became more interested in this issue.
After all, maybe one day it will be a practice of field investigation.
Experiences influence people. From the beginning of writing books, I held the idea of "You can scold me, why can't I fight back?" to now ignoring "You can scold me as much as you want", there have been many changes.
However, now I think it may be related to the previous discussion in the author group.
Some authors have mentioned how to deal with reader comments.
After all, reader comments will affect the views of new readers.
It has happened to me myself. Sometimes when I turn to some books, I choose to read them because the comments are all good, but I don't think they are good, or the comments say they are not good, so I just give up and don't read them. As a result, I turn to this book again one day, and when I forget about the previous things, I read it again, but I think it is very good.
Now I think it is probably the influence of the "primacy effect".
Ah, this, I will also write about the material of "primacy effect". I won't talk about the details now. If you are interested, you can check it yourself. The general meaning is that when people know something, the first impression often affects the subsequent judgment.
Let people make preconceived judgments and affect subsequent evaluations.
In novels, comments and inter-posts will also have this influence.
Similarly, it will also affect the author.
This is also knowledge I learned later.
At that time, the authors in the author group basically had the same opinion -
from the perspective of the plot.
Readers don’t know how you design the world view, and some information is only known to you. Under the information gap, readers’ understanding of the plot is also different from yours.
The most dangerous thing is that the author originally has his own outline, but the reader does not know that under the other party’s understanding, he takes another line and uses this as a criterion for judgment.
If the author is influenced by the readers to change the outline and the plot, it is the most dangerous situation.
Of course, there are also cases where readers’ ideas are better than the author’s. After all, the author is not omnipotent, but it is inevitable that such cases are rare.
Listening to readers’ opinions often has more bad influences than good influences, and your own ideas conflict with “new ideas”, making a mess.
I have a deep understanding of this.
My own level is limited, and I don’t like to use those mature commercial writing plots, which makes the plot of the books I write bland.
I still understand what my shortcomings are, and I am not ignorant.
It was just willful at first, and I had no motivation to change it.
This is even more true now. I don’t know when I will be buried, so of course I will give priority to writing what I want to write.
At this point, I have to talk about the book itself.
The prototype of the book was in the Night Raven period. If you are an old book friend, you should be able to see the development of my design of the material "spirit" and "consciousness".
The initial formation was actually in the Night Raven.
If I remember correctly, it was because I confused Harry Potter's Animagus with Jung's Anima and Animus.
The multi-themed Night Raven itself involves many myths.
Because of the Anima incident, I began to wonder if the various myths, legends, and history that I quoted and saw were misrepresented or distorted?
When readers saw these things I wrote, how much did they understand?
However, it is obvious that expression and understanding will lead readers to different judgments.
Just like the same myth, the same paragraph, the two authors understand the connotation differently, and the things they create based on it are also different.
But can readers specifically distinguish how much difference there is?
No, the author can't do it either.
I am the author of Book A, I know how Book A uses this material, but I don't know how Book B uses it and what its meaning is. After all, I am also a reader of Book B.
The same is true for "myths".
I like crows, and I have a general understanding of the various folklore, literature, and mythological images derived from crows, but I am not sure what is wrong with my understanding.
From another perspective, bad luck, darkness, death, and rumors are the main image labels of crows.
My original Night Crow was intended to include all four of these.
But as I wrote, I found that there was no room for it.
I wanted to write everything I wanted to write completely, but Night Crow could not be completed.
Well, now Night Crow has become a lifetime.
There is also the Tsar fan fiction.
Although I felt that the protagonist of a certain work had a bit of Stockholm feeling before, I didn't confirm it carefully.
I didn't expect such an accident to happen.
It is for this reason that I began to wonder why I didn't find the hidden problem in that work.
What is the mechanism of human information processing?
Can I avoid some things by understanding these mechanisms?
In Silver Crow, the subject is "memory", "death", self, and personality.
How will cognitive judgment change, and the problem of self.
This book is based on "rumors".
Apart from these, I don't have anything else to write.
Although I also want to make money, no matter how much I make, I don't know when I will be buried, so I don't plan to change my writing style.
I can only say.
Thank you for the book friends who are willing to continue reading. I will try my best to write and write what I want to write.
Of course, wanting to do it and being able to do it are two different things.
I also want to become a platinum god, but in fact I can't do it.
I spent two hours writing about my feelings. Well, there is only one chapter after 12 o'clock.
It's miserable to have no drafts saved.
