Chapter 13: Killing Intent
"Who is it?"
The policeman closest to Lu En had not noticed anything until someone suddenly jumped out beside him. He was shocked and angry, and turned his gun to aim at Lu En's vest.
Lu En immediately felt a needle prick on his back. His sharp mind sensed the danger and frantically warned him. He suddenly pounced to the left and disappeared into the darkness. Several large trees with lush branches and leaves covered his figure.
Puff!
A light sound was heard, and a pistol with a silencer fired a bullet, which landed on one of the trees, leaving a hole as big as a bowl. The woman who was chasing Lu En also instinctively avoided it, and then reacted, feeling angry!
"Leave it to me, no one is allowed to shoot!"
Bullets don't have eyes. No one knows who these policemen will hit in the end, especially when their vision is blurred.
Lu En ran as fast as he could through the woods, and soon reached the wall again. He stepped on it as if it were flat ground, and jumped up. He felt a little upset in his heart. He didn't expect that he would be discovered suddenly, and he didn't even know what went wrong.
Click!
There were footsteps behind him. Lu En, who had just jumped off the wall, looked back and saw that the dagger woman had already flown over from the other side of the wall with a light figure, like an extremely agile civet cat. He saw some similar characteristics to Barn in this person.
Not only was she physically strong, but every move and every move had a taste of being tempered.
"Don't run!"
The woman also saw Lu En, and she tiptoed, and her whole body swooped down from the air, like a hawk in the sky finding its prey, and delivered a fierce blow. The dagger in her hand fell on Lu En like a sharp claw!
This is not to catch me, this is to kill me!
Lu En's scalp was numb, and a thought came to his mind. Fear, tension and anger burst out at the same time. If he was cut by this knife, the huge impact force and inertia might cut him in half!
Bang!
Seeing that the blade was close at hand, he would definitely die if he ran forward. Lu En calmed down instead, squatted down, hugged his head and rolled in one go, dodging it very dangerously. The woman's knife missed and landed steadily on the ground, then her feet jumped up as if they were equipped with springs, and kicked Lu En's head.
The long legs with strong wind sound were covered with black leather boots, which were slender and toned, but Lu En had no time to appreciate them. The attack of this short knife woman was so fierce that he didn't even have time to breathe, and it was all killing moves, leaving no room for him!
"Roar!"
Even if Buddha was forced to this point, he would be angry, let alone Lu En. At the critical moment of life and death, he roared wildly, protected his head with one hand, and smashed the long legs with all his strength with the other hand!
Naive!
The woman's mouth curled up. She had so much combat experience that she had anticipated Lu En's possible response plan when she kicked. She twisted her waist slightly and her legs moved faster. She was confident that she had already done something before the other party touched her legs!
She was suddenly shocked and found that the moment she exerted force, the other party also accelerated and landed a punch on her calf. The two of them actually thought of the same thing!
"Ah!"
Although she had already retracted her force, the woman still cried out in pain, stepped back a few steps and leaned against the wall, one foot raised in the air, with an expression of doubt on her face, staring at Lu En.
The force of Lu En's punch was beyond her expectations. From Lu En's response, she could conclude that the other party had almost zero combat experience and was the kind of rookie who could be solved in two or three moves. Who knew that she was wrong. This was actually a hidden young lion!
His physical fitness and strength were actually stronger than mine?
There was disbelief in her eyes. The pain in her calf was unbearable. She could not exert any strength for a while. She could only watch the other party stand up from the ground. She wore a ridiculous mask on her face and roared angrily from behind her funny smile:
"Damn it!"
Lu En couldn't figure it out at all. The other party seemed to have a deep hatred for him. No matter what the reason was, she would kill him as soon as they met. If he hadn't reacted quickly, he would probably be dead on the street now.
"All evil spirit invaders must be eradicated!"
The woman glanced at Lu En coldly, snorted from her nose, and stopped talking. Lu En was keenly aware that the other party was gently moving the injured foot. A punch that might have broken a bone on an ordinary person could only hurt the woman for a while.
When she recovers, I will definitely not be her opponent!
Lu En's eyes flashed with murderous light. He was not a saint. No matter what the reason was, if the other party wanted to kill him, he would naturally want to kill him. However, his eyes fell on the short knife in the woman's hand, and he gradually regained his composure.
The physical fitness and strength of this short-knife woman are not much different from his, but her combat experience and methods are far better than his. If the other party hadn't given him the opportunity, if they really fought in close combat with weapons, Lu En doubted that he would not last more than three minutes.
He now has a powerful body but lacks the means to use it. Even if he takes the opportunity to attack now, he may not be the opponent of this woman, not to mention that the other party has a companion behind him.
"In this case, there is no point in staying any longer!"
After figuring this out, Lu En suppressed his killing intent and turned around to leave, quickly disappearing into the darkness. But what he didn't know was that soon after he turned around and left, beads of sweat suddenly appeared on the woman's forehead. He gritted his teeth and lifted up his trouser legs to see a shocking black and red swelling, which looked extremely scary.
The damage caused by Lu En's punch was more serious than he imagined, but the woman kept pretending that it was insignificant and even gradually alleviated, successfully fooling him.
"Report to the captain as soon as possible. It's probably not a coincidence that such a powerful evil spirit invader appears at this time."
Seeing Lu En leave, the woman's heart surged with heaviness.
Evil spirit invader?
Lu En got a new term again, but he knew the reason but not the reason. He thought the woman might have mistaken him for the so-called evil spirit invader, but what did the other party base her judgment on?
What details did he not notice?
Before he figured it out, Lu En decided that it would be better for him to avoid these people. Besides, the other party seemed to have a deep connection with the authorities. Once his true identity was discovered, the consequences would be disastrous.
His footsteps were light, jumping and running in the alleys or on the walls and houses, taking a shortcut home. Not only did he not get any bargains tonight, but he got into trouble, which made him feel a little unhappy. Of course, he didn't know that there was someone who was even more unhappy than him, and he was an acquaintance.
A dim basement.
Jamie's eyes were dark, and he sat on the sofa with a listless look. His hair was messy like a chicken coop, and countless thoughts came to his mind, without a moment of peace.
These few days were simply a nightmare that he would not wake up from. He was originally a young and rich young master who was envied by everyone. Who knew that he would become a wanted criminal of the Federation overnight, and he and his father were offered a reward for their capture. Now he can only hide in this small basement, and he is in a state of panic all day long. What a huge gap between the two!
Even an adult may not be able to withstand such a blow, let alone a teenager.
But in his opinion, he had some unshirkable responsibility for these things, so the guilt and remorse were like a poisonous snake devouring his heart and tormenting him.
Bang!
The heavy door suddenly opened, and Jamie immediately jumped up like a cat whose tail was stepped on. He looked at the door vigilantly and saw a gray-haired but vigorous old man standing at the door. His eyes were as intimidating as a knife blade, falling on Jamie's face.
"Where's Brad? Let him come out to see me!"
