Chapter 135 Raven Swallows the Sky

Following the mountain road, Nergo saw more Crow Man exiles, who were all fleeing from the dilapidated city called Skettis.

They walked in a hurry, and many of them even threw away their magical treasures. After asking a few Crow Man, Nergo found the Crow Man who knew Reshad as he wished.

"Quack." The Crow Man said to him, "If you want to find the man who hides the scroll, just go down this street, where you will meet him and his pet crows."

"Also, be sure to worry about the Crow Man of Tongtian Peak."

After saying that, he ignored everything else and followed the footsteps of the escape.

"They are really in a hurry." Nergo whispered.

Right next to him, a scarecrow (crow) was holding two exquisite weapons in his hands. Nergo could clearly feel the magic contained in them, but no one cared about them here.

And worry about the Crow Man of Tongtian Peak? Haven't they been idle for centuries?

Nergo came here to seek answers, but found himself more and more confused.

But his curiosity has been aroused, and he seems to have a premonition that the tribe will have one more member if nothing unexpected happens.

As for the Broken Hand Clan, they can't run away anyway, so there is no need to rush for the time being.

"I like this kind of plot that attracts the minority of the race to support them in fighting back."

Nelgo found a special building at the northernmost part of the city. If the crow man is right, this should be the place where the scroll hider is.

As soon as he entered the door, Nelgo saw a crow man hurriedly packing up the scrolls in the room. Even though he was startled by the entry of outsiders, he couldn't waste more time on Nelgo.

In his robe, scrolls were stuffed one by one.

"I'm glad that someone is willing to come to me for answers, but now let's run." Reshad carried a huge bag on his back and held a torch in his hand, as if considering whether to burn the things that couldn't be taken away here.

"Shadows cover the sun..."

Until Nergo whispered this, he was stunned for a moment. He looked at Nergo in disbelief, "What did you say? I mean..."

"Shadows cover the sun." Nergo emphasized.

"Raven swallows the sky." Reshad extinguished the torch, "Who sent you?"

"He said his name is Azik." Nergo said, "At first I just wanted to find a place to replenish some supplies, but now I am a little curious why you are running away?"

This city was almost the second capital of the Crowmen when it was at its most glorious.

"Do you want to know why we ran away?" Reshad flapped his arms, but it only looked clumsy and funny.

"Because of the curse, we can't rise to the sky, and even our former compatriots hate us. They slaughtered us in the name of purification." Reshad's eyes were full of anger when he said this. He hated the high-level Crowmen of Tongtian Peak like all exiles.

"Although I am a little surprised that it is not the Broken Hand orcs." Reshad looked at Nergo, "But there is no doubt that Skyreach has become the enemy of all of us. After all, you don't want a group of birdmen to come out and compete with you for the domination of the world, right?"

This is the truth, Nergo nodded, the era of the Crowmen has passed, don't think about reincarnation, it's better for everyone to die honestly on the mountain.

"Huh." He said to Nergo, "Now the high-level Crowmen have begun to slaughter all foreigners and exiles. They are fighting with soldiers in the northernmost part of the city. I thought I had more time, but I found that I didn't have that much time."

He took out a scroll with several patterns drawn on it, "There are several relics from ancient times in Skettis. They all have powerful powers. If I can't use them for me, at least don't leave them to Skyreach."

Nergo looked carefully and found that there was a pattern on it that happened to be the weapon he found at the door.

"Many of these relics have been lost, but I can guarantee that this winged blade is still there." Reshad pointed to the weapon and said, "The winged blade was forged by craftsmen in the name of the sun god. He once brought freedom to the people in the hands of a great king. He is important both from a practical and symbolic perspective."

"So you threw it on the scarecrow?"

Nergo didn't understand.

But the crow man argued, "Who could have expected that we would throw precious treasures on the straw doll to be baked in the sun? Sometimes the more precious things are, the more they should be in obvious places."

What a reverse thinking, but, "Then doesn't it mean that the high-level crows also know that you will throw treasures on the street?"

"..."

"Damn it!" Reshad's face changed drastically. It's bad. The enemy this time is also a crow. He urged Nergo, "Go quickly, don't let..."

As a result, before he finished speaking, he saw a gust of wind blowing, and Nergo had already disappeared in front of him.

"Are the orcs moving so fast these days?" Reshad sighed, "Orcs from other places are really too efficient."

………………

"I said the Crowmen were actually a little bit stupid." Nergo was somewhat helpless. Although the high-level Crowmen were still fighting with the exiles in the north of the city, a small number of high-level Crowmen had already rushed into the city to search for traces of treasures.

In the chaos caused by the sudden appearance of the high-level Crowmen, Nergo saw the wing blade at a glance.

But just when he was about to touch the wing blade in his hand.

"Gah." A Raven Man swooped down, holding two Illidari-style war blades in his hands, "Put down your dirty hands!"

The blade quickly slashed towards his throat, but Nergo ignored it.

Idiot.

Nergo cursed inwardly, physical attack against elemental creatures? You are really amazing.

While he was still shouting about purification, sun god, nobility, Nergo had already picked up the wing blade to cut off his life.

Nergo kicked the red bird head away and went back to find Reshad.

Seeing the wing blade, Reshad's eyes were almost glued to it. He stared at this treasure closely, even if it was stained with blood, it did not affect his desire for the wing blade.

"I said that Azik was right to ask you for help. The orcs are indeed the most reliable allies in all of Lakshar."

ps: Lakshar is the name of the Raven Man for Draenor, which means the Sun Stone.

"Now everything worth taking away is with me." Reshad was so happy that even his crow cackled twice.

"What do you want in return?" Reshad noticed that Nergo didn't say a word. He knew that business couldn't just be about taking in and not spending, and he wasn't a crow who liked to get something for free.

"What if I say I don't need a reward?"

"What kind of stupid... innocent orc are you?" Reshad almost dropped his jaw in shock. Is there really such a good person who is willing to help Skettis voluntarily?

Nergo didn't say anything. Soon they would know what they wanted.

Reshad muttered, "Forget it, I just need to know that you are here to help me."

"It's too early to talk about rewards now." Nergo waved his hand, "It won't be too late to talk about rewards when I completely help you get rid of the pursuit of high-level crowmen."

"Okay." Reshad carried his bag, "As far as I know, the crowman in charge of directing this massacre is called Lashix. He is a believer of the sun goddess and has mastered some powerful light magic. If nothing goes wrong, he should have a list of the locations and names of the massacres in his hands."

"We need this." Reshad took out a bottle of crimson potion from the package, "This is a healing potion made from sea scorpion venom. It works very well and you don't have to worry about the poison. In short, whether it succeeds or not, this bottle of potion should ensure that you come back alive. You are Skettis-at least my best friend."
