Chapter 301 The Marauder’s Map
At the end of dinner, Loren still had one croissant left. It was already cold, and the burnt brown shell was a bit cold and hard, making it difficult to eat.
In front of him, Hermione took out the brown paper, wrapped the bread tightly, and put it into the pendant space.
Loren looked strange: "You don't want to keep it for me to eat tomorrow, do you?"
"What are you thinking about?" Hermione rolled her eyes nicely, "This is for Hanhan, school has started for a week or two, and I plan to write a letter home. This is a package for Hanhan to eat on the road."
"Oh." Loren suddenly understood.
"Right." Hermione hesitated, glanced at him, and tentatively said what was in her heart, "How about you don't wait until the end of the month to write a letter, write it with me, and send the letter tonight. "
According to Loren's habit, he writes home at the end of the month.
In fact, this was not the time for Hermione to write a letter home. She originally planned to write a letter a few days before her birthday so that she could receive replies from Wendell and Monica on her birthday.
Loren was stunned, looked at the little witch, and couldn't help but smile: "You thought I would be sad, so you came up with the idea of inviting me to write a letter home?"
"Yeah." Hermione responded softly, carefully studying his expression, "I think it would be easier if you wrote to Mr. Bates."
"give me a hug."
"What? Um..."
Loren had already stepped forward and hugged the girl into his arms. He put his hands around her slender waist and buried his face in the crook of her neck. His slow and quiet breathing was mixed with some hair, and he could smell the girl's body. Fragrance, the smell of lavender from the detergent on the clothes, the lemon scent of the shampoo on the hair, and the smell of some grease from dinner.
It's not an amazing smell, it's just extremely reassuring, and the empty chest is filled to the brim with some kind of soft emotion.
Hermione's face immediately turned red, and her body seemed to be under a binding spell, stiff and petrified.
Her voice was muffled and soft, like a kitten: "The auditorium, this is in the auditorium..."
"No one will notice us."
Hermione rolled her stiff neck and checked. There were few people coming to the auditorium for dinner on Saturday. They came relatively late, so there was really no one in the auditorium.
Then, just hug me for a while...
The world seemed to be quiet. The dome of the auditorium simulated the sky outside the castle. Dark clouds were accumulating, and even the dim candlelight was a little gray.
After a while, Hermione suddenly asked: "Why do you smell so bad?"
"Huh? Do you dislike me?" Loren strangled her hard.
"It stinks to begin with."
The smell of the Rafflesia flowers had not dissipated completely. Loren scolded Sabi again in his heart for his cheap hands. He loosened his hand around her waist and smiled: "Let's find an empty classroom to write a letter, and then go to the Owlery to write to the fool." Fool, we can still get back before lights out."
"Oh." Hermione was a little absent-minded, and actually felt a little regretful for no reason.
…
The two found an abandoned classroom to write the letter and took it to the Owlery in the dark. When they returned to the Gryffindor common room, it was still early.
The lounge is very lively on weekend nights, and the noise and laughter can be heard outside the Portrait Cave.
On the right, Harry and Ron were pestering Wood about recruiting new players for the Quidditch team. Their saliva was spattering and their faces were red with excitement. A little further on, Seamus was having a duel with explosive cards and was being killed by all sides.
Beside the sofa on the left, George and Fred were surrounding Lee Jordan, persistently trying to trick him into eating a strangely colored candy.
"Try it, Lee, this is a new product from Honeydukes Candy Store." George put the black, purple and brown lump to Lee Jordan's mouth.
Li Jordan's lips were pressed together, unmoved at all, and his eyes glared at the two of them angrily.
Fred stretched out his finger and poked his cheek: "Yes, yes, it's hard to buy. Try it quickly."
Lee Jordan stammered angrily: "Uh! Uh!"
If his eyes could breathe fire, the twin brothers would have been burned to ashes.
"George, Fred, I want to borrow that map again." Loren raised his hand and patted George on the shoulder.
The three people who heard the sound turned their heads and looked over. Li Jordan's eyes were filled with surprise and gratitude. He took the opportunity to push the two away, jumped off the sofa and ran away to a safe distance, pointed at them and made an angry accusation: "It's too much. Damn it, you two! I saw through the ruse and you actually wanted to use force! Fortunately, Gryffindor protected me..."
Loren and Hermione both fell silent upon hearing this terrible line.
The twins were not annoyed that their good deeds were interrupted. They looked at Loren with a smile, and by the way saw Hermione next to him. George and Fred both made protracted jokes:
"Oh~ George, do you feel like déjà vu?"
"Yes ~ Fred, it was this time last year too."
The two of them blocked Loren's shoulders, one on the left and the other on the right, leaning over the red-haired head and whispering in a low voice:
"Love comes first, but we don't recommend that you go to Hogsmeade through the secret passage. This year is different from last year. Dementor patrols have made the businesses and residents there very nervous."
"Last time I -" Fred stopped in time, rolled his eyes a few times, and changed his words, "I heard from our acquaintances that the activity week this semester has been postponed, and showing up there early may be a problem. If caught, notify the professor.”
"It sounds like you guys went there less than two weeks after school started." Loren complained softly.
George chuckled and said, "We just started school and checked the secret passages everywhere."
"That's right, Loren." Fred nodded with the same smile, and then his face turned serious, "You don't know, the secret passage leading to Honeydukes Candy Shop behind the statue of the hunchbacked one-eyed old woman on the third floor has been sealed. It’s blocked, and the secret passage behind the mirror on the fourth floor has collapsed.”
"Although the secret passage behind the statue of Flatterer Gregory is still usable, I think most of the secret passages in the castle are blocked." George said with a joking smile, "Just find a safe place in school for a date. This is also for Hermione's benefit."
After hearing the news given by the two people, Loren silently calculated that this was probably the influence of Peter Pettigrew.
"I have no intention of going to Hogsmeade." Loren shook his head, "I borrowed the Marauder's Map just to find someone."
George and Fred looked at each other. This sentence was very short, but they heard some unusual meaning from this sentence, and they restrained themselves and did not ask any more questions.
George took out a roll of parchment from his pocket and handed it to Loren, then he and Fred chased Lee Jordan together without looking back, laughing and joking, nothing unusual.
I was fooled by T1, there is still another chapter in the early morning
