Regarding some Issues in Volume 3, if You Have Any Questions, You Can Read Them.
When the third volume was opened, Angel had a premonition that his grades would decline, but he did not expect that it would arouse so many people's dissatisfaction.
Since some people ask why it is written like this, what is the significance? The angel will explain it a little bit.
In the design of the first draft of the outline, Ivan and Asia had only known each other for a summer vacation. Their relationship was not very deep, their characters were not fleshed out enough, and temporary death was acceptable.
One of the original intentions of this line is to use this incident to make the protagonist of the time traveler completely recognize his identity and recognize Asia as his mother!
In the original outline, after Ivan's "death" of Asia, what he felt most was guilt. After all, some things were caused by him, and he saved Asia more because of guilt!
But your attitude later disrupted my plan, and I had to write about the deep relationship between the two.
The second purpose of writing this is to get to know Sirius.
In the angel's expectation, in the third volume, they are two people who have lost something. They temporarily cooperate for their own purposes, and finally care and understand each other, and at the same time save each other.
Sirius woke up from the abyss of hatred, regained his sanity, and no longer regarded revenge as the only goal in life.
Ivan, on the other hand, rebounded from the guilt and silence, and actively tried to reverse the past.
However, due to a previous misjudgment, Angel did not dare to write too harshly, and it ended up being a failure.
In addition, writing this way is also convenient for deepening the emotional line, revealing Ivan’s life experience from the perspectives of all parties, understanding the past events of Doggett and Asia, and setting up some small foreshadowing, etc.
The most important thing is to prepare for the task of controlling the werewolf and becoming the King of Knockturn Alley, so that the other main line of the book can smoothly proceed.
After all, after getting enough money based on the protagonist's character, he will go to the safer Diagon Alley instead of continuing to stay in Knockturn Alley. (Of course, this money will be used for other purposes later) There is no reason to be the king of Knockturn Alley.
The first volume of this book is considered the most satisfying for Angel. Although it was criticized a lot in the past, I don’t know how many people abandoned the book because the protagonist chose Gryffindor and followed the plot in the early stage, but this is the only one that completely follows the outline. A volume written!
It was not affected in any way, all the foreshadowings were used, and dozens of chapters were used as foreshadowing before the main plot was carried out. The plot also gradually transitioned from relaxed daily life to tense battles, and it was truly achieved not to write useless plots.
But starting from the second volume, in view of the dissatisfaction of some book friends, Angel had to speed up the progress of the plot, causing the overall plot to appear a bit scattered, and many foreshadowing chapters were cut off.
Lockhart and Tom, two characters who spent a lot of writing and ink, received their lunch in a hurry, and some plots did not achieve the expected effect at all.
So when the third volume opened, Angel didn't want to compromise anymore, because that would only continue to destroy the integrity of the plot. Angel has always believed that telling a story well is more important than others.
This is also the reason why Angel has not revealed any spoilers no matter how much people criticize it. It is just to make you feel better when you see the puzzle-solving chapter. (I also hope that you will not deliberately spoil the previous chapters, or be more subtle when mentioning spoilers.)
But it's a pity that the angel still compromised and solved the mystery in advance. Asia's body was disguised with polyjuice potion, which also made the subsequent puzzle-solving process very disappointing.
According to Angel's previous expectations, this book should be the most exciting and important volume in the book, but in the end it still failed to be written as expected.
So I ask everyone to be a little patient when reading the book. There is no plot that will never come back, and the writing will not be broken.
Finally, Angel would like to thank everyone for their support,
It is your every subscription, every reward, every vote that allows Angel to not be too affected and continue to write as always when the book review area is full of negative reviews.
Many thanks!
