The first volume is finally finished with 600,000 words.
When I gave my speech at Sanjiang, I promised to write a writing method of "using structure and breaking structure", which has been realized.
There was no outline for this book at the beginning. I just had a few rough ideas and routines in the early stage, and then I started writing.

Through the shallow main line, frequent harvests to pull the rhythm, converge to the strong main line of competing for the first place, and cross-progress, it can create a good sense of expectation.
But in fact, this writing method will also bring a big problem!
From the author's perspective, once the first place is written, it will be almost the same as collapse.
This is the drawback that all strong main lines will inevitably exist after the expectation value is magnified.
In other words... When I first started writing a book, I was writing a book for the first time in my nascent period. Due to the relatively superficial thinking, I added the setting of the list, which caused this book to be born with a collapse point.
If you write a cool article and just write about the protagonist killing the top of the list without thinking, then there will be nothing to watch later.
So... the writing method of "using structure and breaking structure" is the way I came up with when facing such a problem.
Shortly after the release, I directly wrote that Chen Ye won the top of the list, which is actually "pre-setting the cool point" and "displacing expectations".
The normal routine is to write that the protagonist will have a big wave at the end, and then rush to the top of the list at the last moment of the month, shocking the audience and making the cool point reach the peak.
But I don't write like this...
When it was still early before the end of the rankings this month, I let Chen Ye's points reach the top of the list in advance, weakening the main line of the list, which is to displace expectations and put the focus on the quality and plot of the story itself, rather than relying on these rhythms and cool points to support subscriptions.
Such an attempt is destined to be painful.
After the cool point is pre-set, it is obvious that there is a lack of motivation for subscriptions for the subsequent plot, because the strong expectation of the top of the list was given up by me.
Many readers attracted by the title will abandon the game because the content does not meet their expectations.
But the advantage of doing this is that after the ranking list is weakened, the story pattern is opened up.
I did not use the ranking list to show off, but used it to write about other players.
This turned the originally structured ranking list into a tool to pave the way for other supporting roles. I can use the ranking list to create an image for the supporting role first, slowly add the story, and then expand the character setting. In the end, it broke the fixed structure of ranking list, shocking and showing off, and made this ranking list a tool to truly serve the group portrait story.

The weird world I wanted to write at the beginning was not like the ordinary copy clearance flow, such as writing clearance guides in fixed scenes such as a haunted room, amusement park, and an elevator, but was more inclined to the grand narrative of fantasy.
Therefore, if there is only Chen Ye as the protagonist, it is not enough to simply use the player guide to outline the whole world.
It must be in the form of a group portrait to fully show this grand world.
Including the characteristics of various paths, different job transfer directions, and different combat modes, all of which are very dependent on the group portrait.
However, since the players are competitive with each other and will be vigilant of each other, it is difficult to use social relationships to develop a network of interpersonal relationships like conventional fantasy and fairy heroes.
However, with the idea of the list, the players are in a relationship of competition and cooperation, and then the list bosses show their plug-ins, and the gods fight...
Not only does it solve the problem of the strong main line collapsing, but the subsequent ideas are suddenly clear!
Therefore, when I was laying the groundwork for other players in the middle period, a lot of words looked watery, but I had to write.
In fact, my decision was right, because with the group portrait narrative, whether it is writing "Clown Copy" or "Shenghai Village", it will feel a lot smoother.
In this way, a strong main line that will inevitably be weak after writing the first place on the list is weakened, and an excellent and colorful story can be truly written.
When I finished writing the first volume, I was sure that this choice was right.
Of course, I felt that the plot arranged in the original outline was too thin in the ranking part.
A lot of plots were added in the middle.
As a result, the length of the first volume was actually much longer than I expected.
However, the length of the first volume did not mean that the total length was longer. The entire plot was advanced according to the outline.
This book will be developed in a plot flow way. It will not be written endlessly month by month. It will be finished when it is time to finish. The plot framework for the later part has also been thought out.
It’s just that the first volume was written longer and the subsequent part became shorter.
When the first volume was finished, many foreshadowings had been connected, and even the theme of the wanderer had a beginning and an end.
I am quite satisfied with this.

If you have time to go back and read it again, you may have a different feeling.
At the end of the volume, many hidden lines were actually laid out in the usual description.
Until the very last moment of the strategy, I guarantee that no one will be able to tell that the square of the Church of the Fiery Sun, the midnight radio station, and the big loudspeaker in Linjiang City will become part of the final strategy, right?
It can be regarded as the recovery of all the foreshadowings buried all the way from the beginning.
In terms of writing, I have always avoided making the protagonist particularly invincible and excellent, which is also to highlight the strategy. Once the protagonist is completely invincible, the path and value of the strategy will be weakened.
At the same time, when burying the foreshadowing of the strategy, you can't be too deliberate, otherwise it will appear very naive.
Although these points cannot be said to be done very well, they are all implemented. At least they are not clichéd, and the length of the long article can be supported.
The only flaw is that the length is indeed a little long, but this is also for the integrity of the story.
I feel that I have tried my best to write a book that has a collapse point at the beginning without thinking about the outline.
In fact, the second exclusive talent in the second volume is specially prepared for the dungeon.
My strategic goal for the first volume is to lay out the background of this world.
But it also lacked some considerations, which led to my personal feeling that the original outline was not outstanding when it was ranked first in the strategy list, so many dungeon strategies that should have belonged to the second volume were put into the first volume in advance.
This made the exclusive talents of the second volume unable to match the strategy, making the story more interesting and the rhythm more obvious.
Otherwise, this talent, combined with the dungeon strategy, would be very fun.
This is also a little regrettable for me.
And because of this, when the dungeon was unfolded in the middle and late stages of the first volume, some problems frequently occurred in the rhythm.
This is due to the dungeon structure in my mind. In fact, it was set for the exclusive talents of the second volume, but it would be a bit cumbersome to use the Eye of Fortune in the first volume.

However, after writing the first volume, I personally feel more satisfied overall.
I have always emphasized to myself that writing a book should focus on the overall situation, rather than being entangled in temporary wins and losses.
