Hogwarts: Harley From The Witch Way

Chapter 347 I Say, Thank You, Minister!

Facing the ridicule from these old principals, Fudge chose to turn a deaf ear.

What could he do? These old principals are basically wizards from pure-blood families and are very famous in the magic world.

Even now, their family still has a place in the magic world.

And doesn't Fudge rely on the support of these pure-blood families to securely serve as Minister of Magic? He doesn't have the guts to touch his base.

What's more, Harley continues to output, leaving Fudge without any attention:

"...And these respected wizards followed Voldemort's instructions and chose to surround and kill me."

Having said this, Harley shook her head slightly, as if she was very sorry.

"Fortunately, I was more skilled, so I didn't let them succeed, and instead kept a small number of Death Eaters."

"That's the whole story, dear Secretary Fudge."

"Look, you need evidence, and Harley has now put the evidence in front of you with her own hands."

After Harry finished speaking, Professor Dumbledore did not give up and once again began to persuade Fudge.

"If you need it, I can even coordinate with Harley and ask her to provide her memories of everything that happened tonight."

Professor Dumbledore's attitude was very sincere and patient, as if he was dealing with an ignorant student.

Although he was not unclear about why Fudge behaved this way, Professor Dumbledore's inner justice and love for the wizarding world still drove him to make this choice.

Fudge didn't say anything more this time. After all, there was so much evidence in front of him that it was difficult for him to find an excuse.

But his attitude didn't change much. He didn't even look at Dumbledore. He just shook his head and carefully observed the ice sculpture in front of him.

After a brief hesitation, Fudge's tone suddenly changed.

A disgusting greasy smile appeared on his fat face, and he looked at Harley with what he thought was a kind look:

"Miss Potter, could you please remove the magic from these ice sculptures?"

"I think we should bring these criminal suspects back to the Ministry of Magic for interrogation and restore the truth of the matter as much as possible."

Harley took a deep look at Fudge, looking at the fickle politician, and an imperceptible smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.

Although she had already anticipated what would happen in the future, she still nodded and snapped her fingers casually.

A faint blue light flashed, and the ice on the ice sculpture instantly dissipated out of thin air, revealing the figure of the wizard inside.

However, they were either frozen for too long, their legs were numb, or they simply lost their breath of life, so they all fell heavily to the ground.

"Do you need help?" Harley asked seemingly thoughtfully, "By the way, I almost forgot, there is another key person."

"The trigger of everything I mentioned earlier, Barty Crouch Jr., he is also handed over to you."

A dark magic mirror flashed in mid-air, and no one except Dumbledore noticed its existence at all.

Barty Crouch Jr.'s figure immediately appeared on the ground.

He was still wearing the robe he had worn when fighting Harley, holding a wand in his hand, but he had fallen into a deep sleep.

Fudge smiled and nodded at Harry, then looked at the Aurors behind him.

The Aurors quickly waved their wands and conjured a large number of iron ropes and shackles, tying up Barty Crouch Jr. tightly.

When it was the turn of these fallen guys on the ground, the attitude of the Aurors changed.

A large number of stretchers were summoned, and the Aurors hurried forward and carried the Death Eaters up with their own hands.

After all, these are all members of pure-blood families, and they all hold more or less official positions in the Ministry of Magic.

Even guys with worrying IQs like Crabbe and Goyle have an advisory position in the Ministry of Magic, and they are even hereditary advisors that can be passed down to future generations.

Now they are just suspected Death Eaters, and the Ministry of Magic has not yet conducted an interrogation. Before the final conclusion is made, the Aurors insist that no one can be offended.

When the Aurors came into contact with the body of a certain pure-blood wizard, they suddenly let out an exclamation:

"Minister! Advisor Gower...he's not breathing! He's dead!"

The movement of Fudge's hand suddenly stopped, he looked back in disbelief, and asked slightly angrily: "What did you just say?"

The Auror who was the first to shout suddenly regretted, why was he so quick? He could only bite the bullet and repeat what he said before.

Fortunately, Fudge didn't get angry at him, because some of the other Aurors also exclaimed, saying that there were other advisors who, like Goyle, had turned into lifeless corpses.

"What's going on?" Fudge's face was still full of smiles when he looked at Harry, but now it immediately turned serious, mixed with anger.

"I think the people of the magical world need a reasonable explanation! After all, there is no death penalty in the law, and this is naked massacre!"

"How can you say that, Minister Fudge? What a massacre, how terrible is it to talk about it?"

Harley half-leaned half-leaned on the bookshelf, twirling Fox's tail that had landed on her head at some point.

"I told you before. They obviously wanted to do something to me, and they used the Death Curse and the Cruciatus Curse to kill me."

"I just used the freezing spell to freeze them, which is much easier. It's normal for a few to freeze to death accidentally."

"Minister Fudge, you have to be clear, I don't want to do this, but they forced me to do this."

On the ground, those Death Eaters who were lucky enough not to be selected by Harry and so survived had already regained consciousness.

When they heard Harley's joking words, they really felt very wronged.

It’s unfair. We basically just stood aside and watched a show. Who did we offend whom? If you lend me some more courage, I wouldn't have the courage to surround and kill this female devil!

However, the ice previously covering their bodies did not seem to have completely disappeared, but turned into cold air and accumulated in their internal organs.

This made these Death Eaters dare not talk nonsense at all, or even make a sound.

Fudge was choked by Harry a few words, and he wanted to use the topic to break out on the spot to save the situation.

But after taking a look at the lifeless corpses, Fudge still remained calm and didn't say anything more.

The Auror and the accompanying senior officials hurriedly opened the door of the principal's office and used the levitation spell to control the stretcher and Barty Crouch Jr. to leave.

"Dumbledore, Miss Potter." Fudge stayed at the end of the team and reluctantly nodded at the two of them and whispered,

"I will go back to the Ministry of Magic to interrogate these criminal suspects. If you have no problem, then I will leave first..."

"By the way, Miss Harry Potter, congratulations on winning the Six Wizards Tournament."

Fudge suddenly remembered something, took out a large bag of gold coins from his pocket, and placed it directly on the table in front of Dumbledore.

"A thousand gold galleons, we should have had an award ceremony, but now this situation..."

Fudge shrugged and walked out of the principal's office without waiting for an answer.

After returning to the Ministry of Magic through the temporary portkey, everyone else quickly dispersed, preparing to temporarily imprison these criminal suspects and wait for Fudge's arrangements.

Fudge and Umbridge were the only ones left in the office.

"TMD, what do these people think of me, the dignified Minister of Magic?"

Seeing no one else, the expression on Fudge's face suddenly changed and turned extremely red.

He angrily grabbed the notebook, quill and tea cup on the table and threw them against the wall, while cursing in his mouth.

"A bunch of damn professors dare to talk back to me! Can't a bad principal teach students honestly?"

"And a fourteen-year-old girl who hasn't even grown her hair yet dares to make up such lies to make me look bad!"

"It must be all Dumbledore's fault! This bastard will do anything to seize power!"

Umbridge looked at her nose, her nose and her heart, standing in the corner of the office, motionless.

After Fudge had completely vented his anger, she quickly approached him:

"Minister, what should we do next?"

"We must communicate with these purebloods. Since Dumbledore wants to take away my rights, I can only count on the support of the pureblood family."

Fudge's mind is still very good when it comes to matters involving politics.

"Also, talk to the editors-in-chief of those newspapers. If you don't want to be investigated for tax status and security issues, just let the newspapers launch a public opinion offensive."

"Let them interview these famous purebloods and find a way to blame Barty Crouch for what happened tonight, and hint that Dumbledore was behind it."

"Fortunately, Harry Potter was too young and handed me all the evidence, especially the key Barty Crouch Jr."

"Now that we have the initiative, many things will be much easier to handle..."

Listening to Fudge skillfully using the power in his hands to achieve political goals, Umbridge also flattered her at the right time:

"Good morning, Minister!"

…………

In the principal's office, Professor Dumbledore didn't know about Fudge's arrangements, but even if he knew, he would probably just laugh it off.

After flipping through the book stored in Fox's stomach, lighting up many marks and recalling his Order of the Phoenix, he looked at Snape again:

"Severus, I think it's time for you to take action. You know what to do, don't you?"

"I know, Albus. The mark keeps hurting, and it keeps calling me."

"It was expected, wasn't it? But I'm very sorry, I'm afraid you're going to suffer a little, Severus."

Professor Snape hesitated for a moment, then glanced at Harry intentionally or unintentionally, and looked into those green eyes many times.

Finally, he nodded firmly: "I will successfully complete your instructions and come back alive, Albus."

With that said, Professor Snape stood up neatly and strode towards the door of the principal's office without waiting for Dumbledore to say anything.

The black robe fluttered behind him, as if saying goodbye to the people in the office, especially Harley.

"Good luck to you." Professor Dumbledore said with worry in his voice.

"I'm going to deal with other things first." Professor McGonagall looked at Professor Snape's back with worried eyes and said casually,

"The principals and students of other magic schools are still waiting in the auditorium. I need to give them an explanation now."

"There is also the matter of the Six-wizard Tournament... I am so busy..."

When only Harry and Dumbledore were left in the office, Professor Dumbledore looked the girl up and down with a complicated expression on his face:

"Harry, even though I'm very busy tonight and I still have a lot of things to deal with, we still have to talk."

"Can you please tell me what you concealed in your previous conversation with Fudge?"

"I'm not hiding much." Harley showed an innocent expression on her face, "Professor, don't you still believe me?"

"At least you didn't mention werewolves and goblins." Professor Dumbledore was unmoved and tapped his fingers on the table.

"Mundungus reported to me a key piece of information. The group of werewolves had a strange movement and carried out a large-scale migration."

"There are also many goblins from foreign countries who are also hanging out with the werewolves, and they even brought alchemy items made by goblins. They seem to have bad intentions."

"I believe they were also involved in Voldemort's siege against you, but you didn't mention it to us at all."

"Okay," Harley smacked her lips, "I just don't want you to worry, Professor."

"This is a bit of a long story, please bear with me."

…………

Not far outside Hogwarts, on the top of a hill.

Voldemort stood there, stroking his wand gently, but looking towards Hogworth Castle in the distance.

There was admiration and appreciation in his eyes, as well as longing and desire that he was not even aware of.

There once was a young man's happiest past here, and it was that young man's most important home.

Unfortunately not anymore, this family has shut itself out.

As for the reason for rejecting himself, it is just because of some ridiculous justice.

"Don't worry, I will go back soon." Voldemort said softly to himself,

"Now that Dumbledore is old, how long can he still maintain his peak combat power? As for Harry Potter..."

Indeed, Harry Potter was so young that she felt an inexplicable sense of urgency.

But it doesn't matter, even though he was beaten away just once tonight, Voldemort still looks down on Harry Potter inexplicably.

He no longer admired the castle in the distance, but turned around and looked at the ground not far away.

There was no one there 5 minutes ago, but now there is a black figure kneeling respectfully.

"Severus, you are late." Voldemort's cold voice sounded, "I have been calling you, but you didn't come until now."

"Yes, my master." Snape's voice was extremely respectful, not daring to reveal the yin and yang aura he usually treated students with.

"My Lord, I am guilty and I confess to you."

(ps. Let me give you a little explanation as to why Snape can continue to be a spy. If any readers are careful, they will find that many of Snape’s actions are covered up. For example, giving Harry lessons is about Confinement.)

(And the author did not directly write that Professor Snape was very kind to Harry in front of outsiders. Until the fourth grade, almost all Gryffindors still believed that Snape was targeting Harry. This explanation is a bit far-fetched, but The author feels that...it can also come to an end.)
