Chapter 1588 A War Without a Winner (Thirty-Eight)

"What did Catherine say?"

Looking at the two-way mirror that had returned to its original state, Katrina, who had been sitting on the sofa listening to the conversation between the two, finally couldn't help but look up at her sister.

"Catherine said she would come to England this year to exchange experience and knowledge with us." Isobel glanced at her sister, and then checked the new formula she had just obtained.

"Did they say when they would come to England?" Katrina looked a little annoyed, but more alert.

"No." Isobel shook her head, "But I guess we won't have to wait too long."

"I always feel that they are not here to exchange knowledge." Katrina's eyes were still fixed on the two-way mirror on the table, and she seemed to have other opinions on the matter.

"After all, they are no longer young." Isobel said meaningfully, "If you don't work harder, you really won't have a chance."

"Then how can you still..."

Katrina was very depressed. She really couldn't understand why Isobel could still be so calm. Those two people were obviously coming for Albert.

After putting the sorted information back into the folder, Isobel suddenly said, "My dear sister, shouldn't you take the initiative?"

"But, he obviously did it on purpose, and... that would make me feel very unattractive." Katrina found an excuse for herself after a panic.

"Don't you even have this little courage? You know, he was originally quite repulsive..."

"But he still slept with Granger."

Speaking of this, Katrina felt inexplicably irritable. It was obviously her who came first, but in the end, someone else got there first.

"This is the biggest problem." Isobel sighed and reminded, "Albert himself is a person who is more devoted to feelings. His few desires were almost exhausted after he had some relationship with Granger."

"Why." Katrina was indeed angry about this matter. She felt that she was more beautiful than Granger, but Albert seemed to have lost interest in her after returning from Australia.

"Please be more careful, my dear sister. If you had taken the initiative, Granger might not have had any problems."

Isobel actually knew the reason, but she couldn't tell Katrina directly, because she couldn't say that you were actually my inferior substitute.

When there were better choices, Albert naturally preferred his wife, and Katrina's biggest role was the temptation of the sisters.

At least that's what Isobel thought.

"I remember you didn't seem to have anything recently..." Katrina suddenly looked at her sister with a suspicious look, suspecting that she was cheating.

"People are not lions." Isobel reminded.

"Okay, then when do you think it's right?" Katrina also felt that she couldn't drag it on any longer.

"The sooner the better, preferably tonight."

"Tonight?"

Katrina looked stunned.

"You have to be quick, you probably won't be able to laugh when Catherine comes." Isobel felt that her sister still needed to be disciplined.

Love is something that needs to be managed patiently, especially for a man as good as Albert. If you don't work hard to manage it and fight for yourself, you won't even have a chance.

Because some things become immune after experiencing them a few times.

And Katrina still hasn't realized that a person's energy is limited.

"Okay, I'll ask Kara to prepare a few dishes." Katrina was willing to believe Isobel's judgment and got up to go to the kitchen.

At this moment, the doorbell rang in the entrance hall.

A minute later, Albert walked through the corridor and appeared at the door of the hall.

"You don't look happy, what happened?"

Isobel stood up from the sofa and gave Albert a gentle hug.

"Something did happen."

Albert didn't hide it and simply shared what happened today with Isobel.

"Political struggles are sometimes so cruel."

Isobel could understand Albert's slightly bad mood after returning, but she actually knew that although Albert didn't want to be involved in these troubles, he couldn't avoid it after he agreed to become Kingsley's senior adviser.

"But..."

Isobel kissed Albert's lips and whispered, "You can always leave."

She knew Albert very well, and knew that if he wanted to do something, he probably wouldn't have those troubles.

"You're right, but people are always greedy. I wish I could be as open-minded as Mr. Flamel."

Albert envied the Flamel couple's detachment, but he also knew that there were some things he couldn't just leave alone.

At least he still needed help to keep an eye on it, just like Dumbledore once did.

"If you don't want anything and have no desires, it means you have become an old man."

Isobel pulled Albert to sit down, and after noticing his eyes falling on the folder on the table, she also shared what happened today.

The beauty salon business was almost done, and there was also the matter of Catherine and Valeria planning to come to the UK.

"They came to the UK to exchange experiences with you?" Albert expressed doubt.

"You should know what they are doing in the UK." Isobel looked at her husband with a smile.

"I don't have much intersection with them." Albert shook his head.

"They don't think that way."

Looking at Albert with a twitching face, Isobel reached out and put her hand on Albert's chest.

"You're not jealous." Albert looked at his wife suspiciously, "Won't you help me deal with them?"

Isobel didn't respond, but suddenly changed the subject and asked, "Have you forgotten anything recently?"

Feeling Isobel's fingers sliding down his chest to his crotch, Albert immediately understood and kissed Isobel's lips again, saying, "We can go take a shower first."

"You seem to have forgotten Katrina. She's not very happy recently." Isobel deliberately covered her face with her hand to remind her.

"Okay, it's my fault, but you also know that I'm really busy recently, and most girls hope that they can have a wonderful first night." Albert immediately found an excuse for himself. He has been very busy since he came back from Australia.

"Tonight!" Isobel reminded.

"It's not easy for you either." Albert sighed and agreed.

"What about you? Do you want to join us?"

"Next time, or Katrina will probably hate me." Isobel put her head close to Albert's ear and whispered

"If Katrina has some of your skills, I think I will die in a woman's heart sooner or later." Albert sighed.

"It will be much better when she lets go completely."

Isobel never worried about this problem. Albert knew how to take care of his body better than most wizards, and he was also stronger than most wizards.

In some ways, wizards with magic are indeed much better than Muggles.
