A New Year's Letter to Book Friends
Tough guy Chandler once said, "A writer lives to write." If this is true, then I am obviously a bad writer. I am always lazy and often slack off. I have a lot of reasons and excuses to fill a sack.
But I am still here, writing, reading and living.
For three years, I have loved and appreciated every reader who has read this book from the bottom of my heart, just like a lonely tourist looking up at the stars in the desert. Your existence is of great significance.
The connection between words makes the story, and the connection between people makes life itself.
There are ups and downs. What happens to each character in the book is a creative accident in the plot of the novel. Sometimes the author is just moved by the character and is a puppet of the character.
Sometimes I will be a gentle author who can't bear to be led to destruction with the character. Sometimes the pen I hold is cruel and indifferent, just to show the inevitability of fate.
Writing, life, panic when light, hopeless when heavy.
Maybe it will be the same in the future. These years have not been easy for everyone. Maybe because of this, we need to read more.
