Volume 3 Reflections.
First, let me talk about the content of the third volume.
In fact, I was laying the groundwork from the very beginning, and some book lovers should be aware of the special features of Euclid from the very beginning.
Even if I use this entire volume, I cannot reflect the greatness of Euclid.
Whether in the world of reality or magic, Euclid's greatness is beyond imagination.
In the same way Aristotle was great, as was Thales, Pythagoras, Eudoxus, and so on.
Hmm... I know there are some controversies about the history of Greece, but it doesn't matter, I even only regard those characters as a symbol, they are just "representatives of the wisdom of the sages", the important thing is that the wisdom of the sages exists, They move the world forward and benefit each of us.
They make human beings better than animals and make human beings better people.
I won't talk about the details, I haven't recovered from this episode, so I won't go into details.
Two, I always said before that some things will be said in the third volume or at the end, and now I can finally say something.
Regarding the choice of "The World of the Gods", as I said before, I originally wanted to write about Eastern and Western religions, but I finally realized that in an era when many things cannot be written, that type of writing is impossible. Then, I turned to write a book.
So why did I write the book this way?
After thinking about it, I concluded that there are probably three main reasons.
First, I like it.
Although it is a bit willful to say so, I insist that an author can only write excellent works if he writes what he really likes and believes in.
Second, because some readers said that they read the first edition of "The Most Sacred Confucianism and Taoism" many times, and some even said it more than ten times.
It scares me a little bit, and I feel like I'm not quite as far as the reader is saying. Therefore, I have to work harder to write content worthy of being read ten times.
In other words, I want to write what I think is the most valuable thing.
I thought so, and I did so.
Third, I have always had a question.
All the online novels I have read, including those with strong intellectual content, are just superficial. Well, let’s stop here, because there is no malice to avoid misunderstanding, so I won’t go into details.
To use an intuitive analogy, all online novels are about the protagonist climbing from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. In the novel, it is about the scenery, about the protagonist sweating, about the protagonist gritting his teeth, about the protagonist not giving up, etc. wait……
But, but, but, none of these novels touched on one particularly important thing, the way of acting, the way of thinking, and the way of method.
I think I can write and try.
Then, there was "World of Gods".
Ok……
As for the summary of the full text, it cannot be said now.
What can be said is that I struggled to write the first volume, and I struggled in the second volume, but from the third volume onwards, the writing became more and more stable like an old dog.
It's not that I feel like I'm gone, but this is really what I want to write and what I like.
I admit that what I want to write is actually beyond my writing ability,
But does it matter? unimportant.
The important thing is, I believe I like it, I act and I try.
I tried to stand at the end of my life and ask myself, is it worth writing this "World of Gods"?
The answer at the end of life is, it's worth it.
Third, many readers do not accept this type of online writing.
However, web literature is a diverse and diverse world, and the rules of the real world are already overwhelming. If you have to follow some old iron laws in the world of web literature, isn’t it too tiring?
It's like some readers said that this book preaches too much.
I don't object, but let's use another angle, this is normal explanation and discussion, and it is a part of the composition of the novel.
However, the problem is that I haven't been able to write these things "in a way that the general public likes".
Therefore, I accept criticism from readers and do not object.
Therefore, I will definitely focus on making improvements in this area in the next book.
On the other hand, I have to explain.
The content I write is either summed up and refined by the top bosses in a lifetime, or I figured it out from the books of the bosses myself. Any single point can write a monograph eloquently.
Not to mention me, no writer in history could write so many things "in a way popular readers like", and even if they wrote them, few people could understand them.
If writers and writers can write those things well, what should philosophers and scientists do?
Therefore, the fundamental problem is that it is not that my way of writing is wrong, but that I have chosen a "writing direction that is not popular enough".
Actually, I have two methods of writing.
One is to explain some points in detail in the way of explanation and discussion like now.
The advantage of this is that everyone can understand as long as they look carefully. As for whether to do it or not, it is another matter.
But the disadvantage is that it destroys a certain reading experience, which is not so cool.
The second is the normal writing method, which writes knowledge and principles as pure stories.
But I can assure you, really, I can assure you that if I don't explain it, no one will see what I'm trying to say but myself.
Who dares to say that "A Dream of Red Mansions" is not good, and who dares to say that various famous works are not good? But why are so many works interpreted in various ways?
Since ancient times, whether it is the Four Books and Five Classics, Tang and Song poetry, or Ming and Qing novels, all kinds of appreciation and analysis, even those scholars who make a living by this, can they really understand the author's intention?
I can't read it! I really can't read it.
For example, I saw the appreciation of poetry that broke me down the most. Among them, I appreciated Li Bai's line "I am a madman from Chu, Feng Ge laughed at Confucius", saying that Li Bai laughed at Confucius, and some people said that Li Bai was disappointed in officialdom, completely with the dark The court drew a line.
Baidu, most of them are in this tune.
I really want to call those people big brothers. First of all, in the allusions quoted by Li Bai, the Chu madman did not "mock" Confucius, but people said: "The phoenix is the phoenix, and the decline of He De. The past cannot be persuaded, and the coming can still be pursued. .It’s over, it’s over, the current politicians are dead.”
To explain it in the vernacular, the Chu madman shouted loudly: Confucius, you are a dragon and a phoenix among people. Why did you come to a poor place like Chu to be an official? You are a phoenix who got into the mud puddles, and you are downgraded! The past can't be changed, now there is still time to rein in the precipice, don't be an official. It's too dangerous to be an official now, so go back quickly.
Therefore, Chu Kuangren is a supporter of Confucius. He is not ridiculed, but regretted, or admired.
What does Li Bai mean by this allusion?
The vernacular translation is: I am Li Bai, my eyes are higher than my head, my heart is arrogant, I should be like a madman from Chu, refusing to be an official. I should be as chic as a fairy. But in fact, my whole life, basically like Confucius, was begging for officials. I hope I can really see things as openly as Madman Chu.
To put it bluntly, Li Bai compared himself to the madman of Chu and Confucius at the same time, and he did not mean to laugh at Confucius at all, but rather to laugh at himself.
In addition, shouldn't everyone know that for the sake of rhyming and pretending to be beeping, poets and poets cannot write any frantic sentences?
These two lines of poems are the portrayal of Li Bai's life journey: at the beginning, he begged for an official like Confucius, and then he kept running into walls like Confucius. In the end, he felt sorry for himself like a madman from Chu regretted Confucius, and finally hoped that he would let go like Confucius. The mentality of seeking an official, playing in the world, becoming a real fairy.
The difference between the two is that Confucius did serve as a senior official with real power.
What both of them have in common is that they have surpassed themselves in another field and reached the pinnacle of life, that is, self-realization.
The whole poem and Li Bai's whole life are full of regrets and contradictions, and they are not like the dark court at all.
So, I... I'm not comparing myself to Li Bai.
Even Li Bai and Cao Xueqin can’t write words that can be understood by professionally educated people. How dare I write such a deep thing as a pure story and let readers understand it?
So, I opted for an overly explanatory and expository writing style.
Suddenly discovered that the level of the author of the web article is really high!
As for what I am preaching, I will explain it in detail after finishing this book.
All we can say now is that we will get what we define.
We get what we believe in.
Cough cough, let's talk about business.
By the third volume, Su Ye has completely passed the growth period, and the explanatory content will be reduced, and I will restrain myself more in the later stage.
Su ye acquired excellent thinking, had a clear goal, and mastered the correct method. Then, all of these would form a huge motivation and push him to move forward.
Next, what Suye has to do is to work hard and persevere. Under the guidance of thinking, he will go in the direction of the goal and use the correct method to go step by step and make continuous progress.
In fact, there are still some things I want to say, but they are not suitable. After the whole book is finished, I will talk about it seriously.
The third volume is officially over, today I mainly write my testimonials, and at the same time think about the plot of the fourth volume and after all day, so there is no text update today.
Volume 4 starts tomorrow.
