Qin Zhi'ai didn't know how long she had been in a daze holding the envelope and posting it. By the time she regained consciousness, the sky outside the window was already pitch black.

She threw the envelope casually in the drawer of the dresser, turned around and went downstairs.

When Qin Zhi'ai entered the dining room, he did not expect that Gu Yusheng was still sitting at the dining table eating dinner. He heard the movement, raised his eyelids and glanced at her. The expression on his face did not change at all, as if she did not exist at all. He lowered his head, continued to drink soup with a bowl in one hand, and swipe the phone screen to watch the news with the other.

"Miss, what do you want to eat?" The butler pulled away the chair opposite Gu Yusheng, "Do you want to eat noodles like Mr. Gu, or rice?"

In the three months since she lived in Gu Yusheng's villa, Qin Zhi'ai and Gu Yusheng have never stayed at the same dining table except for the one meal together at the old Gu family's house. She froze for a while before walking to the dining chair. He sat down before, and whispered softly to the butler, "Let's have some rice."

"Okay, Miss." The butler replied, and quickly brought Qin Zhi'ai a bowl of rice.

Qin Zhi'ai said "thank you" in a low voice, picked up the chopsticks, lowered her head slightly, and picked up the rice.

The restaurant was very quiet, except for the occasional slight and crisp sound of chopsticks touching the plate, there was no other movement.

When Qin Zhi'ai came, there was not much soup left in Gu Yusheng's bowl. He stared at the phone screen for a moment, then raised his head and drank it in one gulp, then put down the bowl, stood up and left.

Maybe it was because she ate too much at noon, or maybe it was because of Gu Yusheng's presence, Qin Zhi'ai didn't have any appetite at all, so she guarded a big dining table by herself, forcing herself to eat half a bowl of rice before she put down her chopsticks.

She didn't get up in a hurry, she sat on the dining chair for a while, and when the butler came in, she asked in a low voice, "What... is he doing?"

She wanted to ask, has he left? When the words came to my lips, I realized that it was wrong, so I changed it again.

"Sir? Watching TV in the living room."

Hearing the butler's answer, Qin Zhi'ai let out a flat "Oh" and didn't say anything more, but her heart became a little uneasy.

She continued to sit in the restaurant for a while before suppressing the ups and downs in her heart and walking out of the restaurant.

Gu Yusheng sat in the middle of the sofa, with his feet up, watching the Olympic Games which was recently broadcast.

A table tennis match was being broadcast on TV, and his voice was kept very low, and there were shouts from the audience from time to time.

Gu Yusheng might have been fascinated by watching the game, but he didn't notice Qin Zhi'ai coming out of the restaurant.

Qin Zhi'ai stood not far away, stared at him for a while, and found that he still showed no signs of leaving, so she tilted her head and looked at the grandfather clock beside her.

It's already past nine o'clock, so late, and he hasn't left yet. Could it be... Does it mean that he wants to stay at home to sleep tonight?
